  • Highly recommended - 2007 Nissan Sentra

After shopping around for a few days, we almost bought a Mazda3 but changed our mind right after we test-drove a 2007 Sentra (our previous car was Toyota Corolla). We purchased 2.0S four months ago and have never regretted a bit. Thanks to its blocky body and the height-adjustable driver’s seat, getting in and out is very easy. Inside is spacious and quality of materials used is better than competitors. The brakes with ABS work very well, although we first needed to get used to. CVT is a definite plus and the smooth flow of power is fantastic, particularly when driving on steep hills with cruise control engaged: I will never want to go back to an old-fashioned automatic transmission.

We traded in our 2005 Murano for this car since we wanted to get a small car thats good on gas. We liked the civic and mazda 3 but cannot get good trade in value for murano from them. So we ended up on this one since we got a good deal, but I am very happy so far. The car drives well, seems like well built, has a ton of features for a small car. When the dealers are ready to deal at the invoice prices, I think it will be a good buy.

My wife was in the market for a newer vehicle and we were in the reluctant position of trading in our beloved 02 WRX Wagon. We needed a solid commuter car with better gas mileage without compromising too much on performance. Our search led us to the 07 Spec V and we are very happy with the decision. This car is by no means a saturday track day type of ride but I still find a smile every time it rips up to 7k on the tach. The ride is smooth, maybe stiff for some, but much quieter highway crusing than the WRX. Interior is finished nicely and comfortable for my 64" 240 frame. For the price and features, cant beat it for a fun/zippy commuter car.

  • Best auto puchase Ive ever made! - 2007 Nissan Sentra

Not sure what the mileage complaints are about. Im averaging 31 mpg on the highway and 28 mpg combined. Ive just hit 300 miles on this tank of gas and I still have more than 1/4 of a tank left. Lots of power when needed and stylish to the max. The 2007 has twice the leg room of the 2006. It hugs the road beautifully.

  • Solid Car and Great Commuter Value - 2007 Nissan Sentra

I was looking for a comfortable commuter car with good mileage, and this car fit the bill better than others I had tested. I had been a loyal Toyota customer until purchasing this car. Lots of features and much more power than the Yaris, for not much more money as optioned. I found a Sentra S with ABS, CVT, and Bluetooth. The car is extremely comfortable and quiet for a small car. Ergonomics are very good. Engine is very smooth and revs easily. I have the CVT transmission, which I have really grown to like, though initially was a bit disconcerting. Exterior styling is just OK, especially in front. Fuel economy for me is around 29 MPG (mostly highway), less than advertised.

  • Love it! - 2007 Nissan Sentra

Ive had the Sentra for about a month now and I absolutely love it! The car drives so smooth and quiet and the gas mileage averages about 28 with stop and go city traffic, but I expect that to improve b/c the car is still so new. The car is surprisingly large inside and the seats are very comfy. Compared to the other cars in its class you get a lot more style and features for your money. The base civic and mazda3 dont even have power windows/doorlocks or AC! Definitely no regrets here!

  • Bad Transmission - 2007 Nissan Sentra

This company produces an awful product and completely lacks in customer service when making a superficial attempt at remedying the money drain of a vehicle they created for consumers. I bought my first Nissan, a 2007 Sentra with the defective CVT Transmission. Nissan acknowledged the defective transmission by doubling the warranty, instead of recalling like they should have, causing consumers to be stuck with the extremely expensive repairs when the defective transmission goes out shortly after the warranty is up. The warranty covers up to 120,000 miles, my vehicles transmission went out at 120,815 miles.

  • Spec V - 2007 Nissan Sentra

I got my spec v back in 2007. Ive had it a little over a year now. I first test drove a honda 2007 civic SI, which was pretty interesting, I liked the power and the low profile and the instrument panel was good looking. But I wanted to compare the two before I made a decision. I went to nissan drove the spec v and fell in love with it. Fuel economy if you drive it in a smart way can get up to 30+

  • Nice, spaaaaacious, fuel efficient car! - 2007 Nissan Sentra

Got the 2.0s 6M in April, and I found the ride very quiet and reasonably well mannered. It certainly does not like any sort of rough road, however, where the suspension can have me bouncing around all over the cabin. The shift throw had been difficult to get used to, but thats okay. I mean, I can play "hide-n-go-seek" inside the cabin there is sooo much space! I do find the quality of the plastics inside to be lacking. The interior is very easy to mark if you are not careful but overall, a great car for my long commute, and knowing the Nissan powerplant, the engine should get me close to half a million KMs.

  • Excellent car, fun to drive, stylish - 2007 Nissan Sentra

I really like this car. I had been deciding between a Honda Civic LX and this car. In the end, I liked the style and interior of the Sentra much more. Its a little bit more roomier than the Civic, which is worth the extra gas mileage, imo, but the gas mileage is still really good. Its really fun to drive (I have the 6 speed manual). I still love the design inside and out! I would totally recommend this for someone looking for a sedan in the 15-16k range.
