Overview & Reviews
The 2007 Nissan Sentra is completely redesigned. The sixth generation of the popular economy sedan offers a new engine, more interior room and additional comfort and convenience features. The sporty Sentra SE-R and SE-R Spec V versions return midyear as well.
- Attractive cabin design with quality materials, generous interior room front and rear, quiet highway ride, quick acceleration on SE-R Spec V.

First new car - 2007 Nissan Sentra
By chip - May 17 - 8:03 pmThe car corners pretty smooth. Among the same sized cars (civic, corolla), I think this is the best buy. The intelligent key system is so smart. Interior and trunk is roomy. CVT feels great, no more jerks during acceleration. Right now it is showing 700 miles, averaging only 21.6 mpg in my little town (lots of stop and go downtown area.) and 34 mpg on the highway. Not too bad.

Kind of fun - 2007 Nissan Sentra
By madridny - April 2 - 4:20 amPurchased in May of 07, traded in a Dodge Dakota. Gas mileage is in the advertised range, about 31 with regular tires and 28 with studded snow tires, mostly highway driving. Vehicle really needs snow tires if you live in a very snowy area. All weather tires will not do it. Heater works great and rear defrost works fine. Car is a little noisy under heavy acceleration. When braking car lurches forward at times but I am told that this is a product of the CVT. Gas door needs to be opened from inside and does not work properly, usually it will not open and needs some extra "help". I am 66" and the headroom in this car is great. Not to sure about the benefit of the trunk divider.

Love it so far - 2007 Nissan Sentra
By Matt - March 18 - 3:03 amI am really enjoying my 2.0SL. The car is surprisingly large inside and everything is well laid out. My previous car was an Accord, and the fit and finish on the Nissan are just not up to that standard, but the Sentra is lower on the scale than an Accord. Even though, I really love the styling, how high-up it sits, how quiet the engine is, the regular stereo sounds great and overall I am really enjoying it.

NOT HAPPY AT ALL!! - 2007 Nissan Sentra
By NOT HAPPY AT ALL! - March 2 - 4:46 pmI had a Nissan Altima for three years and loved it. My lease was up and unfortunately decided to by this Sentra. Needless to say, I am not happy at all. I have had four sets of struts in this "brand new car." This vehicle handles just horrible in rain/ice/snow. Sways all over the road. I have put new tires on this vehicle only after 20,000 miles thinking that was the issue, to no avail. I will never buy another Sentra. I have finally made the decision to get rid of this vehicle. It is clearly not made for the midwest. Nissan better make some much needed stability work!

Nice car for the price - 2007 Nissan Sentra
By Sue - February 28 - 4:53 amI only have had this car for a couple of days, and I absolutely love it. It looks great, rides great and handles like a sports car. People have actually approached me to ask if it was a Maxima or an Altima. This car has a lot of interior and trunk space for its size, its bigger inside than it looks from the outside.

Mr. Bugs - 2007 Nissan Sentra
By cygnus - January 21 - 10:56 pmI purchased my SE-R 7 weeks ago and it has been in the shop 4 times, it makes a strange sound similar to hissing or a shaking a filament in a light bulb when the car travels over any street that is not newly paved. At this time the dealership as not been able to pinpoint the problem. They have replaced struts and strut mounts so far. My driver side door froze and would not open. The car is due back in the shop to replace a broken positive battery terminal connector that is on order. I love the engine power and styling but my car seems to have a lot of bugs and problems to be only a year old.
