  • Cargo space behind second row a few cubes shy of some rivals, compromised rear visibility.

  • 5k miles & lovin every minute!! - 2009 Nissan Murano

Got my new Murano in April, and just rolled over 5,000 miles! First tank of gas yielded 18 mpg, and Im currently getting 24-25 mpg (half city/half hwy). Not overly conscious of my driving habits, so a little attention could possibly yield even better mpg. Just hit my thirties and was time to move on from my sports car- after a little separation anxiety have never looked back! =D I found the quickness & agility a pleasant surprise over older muranos, and the comfort/mileage/value beat out the Mazda CX-7 & Infiniti FX-35. Its rugged enough to get to construction sites for my job, roomy enough for our two dogs, stylish for a night on the town. Love everything about this car!

  • VERY NICE VEHICLE -OVERALL - 2009 Nissan Murano

We bought this vehicle after looking at and driving many competing suvs. After 2 months and 4000 miles of assorted driving I find that I am overall satisfied with the Murano because it does what we bought it for, larger size, 2 rows of seats with plenty of room between them, ease of entry, and a fair load of features as we have it equipped. However, I find several small items on the Murano that I would like to be improved to make it great. Just my suggestions which I will list below. This SL has premium, technology, and leather packages.

  • Best car I have owned - 2009 Nissan Murano

I have always loved the Murano and the wife and I finally decided to take the plunge. We thought we would go for a new 2007 since the 09s had just come out and we could get a great deal on what was left on the dealers lot. However once we saw and drove the 09 we could not resist. What a nice change in body design and platform. The interior especially the console is much improved. THe engine has plenty of power and the CVT is pretty sweet. Always power when you need it an no transitions felt. The 9 speaker Bose with the center channel will blow you away!!!

This is my third Murano so I obviously like the vehicle and I drive for a living. I have 2 major complaints. 1.When driving between 1000 & 1500 RPM and going approximately 30-40 MPH, the vehicle makes a sound that sounds like whistling brakes but it is not the brakes. Upon review by the dealership we were able to duplicate in every model of the 2009 Murano. This was being turned into the engineers at Nissan to design a fix. This was discovered in July 2008 and yet to hear resolution. 2.Is the 20" tires and the fact there is only 1 tire for this model. Tires have been rotated and maintained and need replaced at 15000 miles. Horrible in rain/snow & I drive for a living. Not fair.

  • This is the one to buy! - 2009 Nissan Murano

I love this vehicle! It drives great, the technology is equal to that in products twice as expensive, and it is great looking in and out. I dont see why anyone would pay the premium for an FX35. The only things I might nitpick on are that all four windows should be one-touch, the steering wheel on a loaded SL should be power, and with all the great stereo technology there should be an iPod connector. Also, the dual moonroof for its size should slide open further. Nevertheless, this is the one to put on the top of your list.

Purchased the new Murano the first of May. We traded in an 06 3 series BMW. We test drove several vehicles that we were considering, Lexus RX330 and BMW X3. After many weeks of reading reviews and test driving all the cars we decided on the 09 Murano. We purchased an SL with premium pkg. and leather. The wife loves it, her decision to go with this vehicle. We got Black on black, highly recommend this cross over suv.

I leased a 09 Murano two weeks ago. This is the nicest car I have ever driven. The leather is spectacular, the Tech package is really nice. Drives like a sports car, very happy with my purchase. The interior does not feel like a small SUV at all. The cargo space is definitely bigger than the other models. The MPG is not as good as I thought, 70 mph on a flat highway on cruise control it is exactly at 20 mpg. Since it is new, I am not sure if the mpg will go up.

We tested the 2008 Toyota Highlander, Mazda CX-9, Hyundai Veracruz and others and this one was the best. Feel really good about our decision. Rides like a dream. Very quiet and unbelievable comfort. Power is great with the CVT. We got the top of the line with everything except the DVD player for the back, and are glad we did. The interior is great and feels very luxurious. Still learning all the features, but so far they are fairly easy to get familiar with and we love them all. I really like the heated front and rear seats in the LE.

I love driving the 2009 Murano. Had test drove the Infiniti FX35 loved the car but husband wanted me to check out the 2009 Murano and I loved it and bought it the same day. I did not compromise anything with the purchase.
