The Maxima has been fully redesigned for 2004. It now rides on the same underpinnings as the well-received Nissan Altima. This year's Maxima is longer, wider and more powerful than the previous version.

• Roomy interior, lots of upscale options, sweet V6, available with a manual transmission.

  I really like the Nissan line. This is my 2nd Maxima, I have owned a Stnza and and Infiniti J30. The car handles well and is fun to drive.

  NISSAN DID EXCELLENT JOB, DESIGNING THE 2004 MAXIMA, I LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT, I GET ALOT OF LOOKS FROM PEOPLE, WONDER WHAT CAN OF CAR IT IS. DESIGN OUT BEATS, SOME OF THE TOP LUXARY CARS. CANNOT NOT SAY ENOUGH ABOUT MY CAR.

  great looking automobile perf is great interior is spaceous and detailed nicely standard sky lights a real plus trunk is extra spaceous enjoy having audio controls in steering wheel heated steering and seats a plus plus in cold weather electric everything

  EXCELLENT PURCHASE. FEATURES ON THE MAXIMA HAVE REALLY BEEN UPGRADED. EXTRA FEATURES SUCH AS BOSE STEREO AND NAVIGATION SYSTEM REALLY MAKES THE MAXIMA LOOK AND FEEL LIKE A LUXURY CAR. BASED ON THE COMPETITION, THE MAXIMA STANDS WELL ABOVE THE REST.

  This 04 Maxima SL replaced my Honda Accord Coupe. Great car, except its cheap interior materials. Plastics used for headlight and wiper controls have to go. Nissan, please add a $10 foot rest, please. Coin box would be great. Excellent stereo and computer system. Great sound quality. Fun to drive. Excellent exterior design. Great breakes.

  Ive traded 3 Nissans (95 Altima, 98 Maxima andn 01 Maxima).. this car makes my 4th Nissan Vechicle. I fell in love all over again. Once I saw and drove the car I couldnt resist. The commercial about the car is very true.. "Everything has changed, Nothing has changed". The look of the car is very different.. It difinitely looks luxurious ..very roomy, stylish, comfortable, equipped.. However the performance is still as incredible as its always been (if not even better)!!!

  i have an Elite Package, Radient Ember 2004 Nissan Maxima, Auto, and Sunroof. LOVE THIS CAR... had a 1999 SE, glad i waited for the new model.

  I picked up my 04 Max on 8/2 and am completely in awe of it - whether driving it or just looking at it in the driveway. Although I had preferred the 6-speed, the automatic has more than enough jump from a stop and the pick-up from 60-80 is equally impressive.
