This Year's Model Updates:

Nissan's premier sports car has been resurrected after a six-year absence. Possessing excellent handling and power, the 2003 Nissan 350Z comes with a price tag that is thousands less than the competition's.

Pros:
  • Powerful V6 engine, impressive handling, offers a lot of bang-for-the-buck.
Cons:
  • Lack of luggage space, cruise control not available on base model.

  • Blue Streak!!! - 2003 Nissan 350Z

I have the Performance Model Vin #251 which is blue and now almost exactly a year old with 19000 miles on it. I love this car. My only regret was not getting the leather interior. The carbon fiber cloth does not hold up well and freys (especially on the drivers side). Ive replaced the seat cover twice now for this problem with no solution as a subsitute fabric offered by Nissan yet. That said, you cant find a better sports car on the market today for the price. My top speed so far has been 145mph. Although the car is capable of more it is difficult to find a rural hwy. in good enough condition to go faster! Overall experience is a solid 10!!!

Dont hesitate buy one. I have owned several zs before but this is far the best one I have ever owned (except for my 300Z).Nothing else will be as bad as the Corvette!!!! That is what i will buy when I get rid of the z in the next 6 months. Mazda has out done themselves.. this time, But American made is the way to go.

I have nothing bad to say about my Z car. It handles well and is so much fun to drive. I get nothing but compliments from everyone I know and dont know about the looks of the car. The gas mileage is not bad for a sports car either. I get 20 miles to the gallon in town about 25 on the highway. The color is gorgeous too. I have the brickyard color which is kind of a dark plum color. I put an after market spoiler on the back and it is too cute.

Contrary to historical experience I like this car more now than when I bought it. This car is a blast. It begs for high speed turns and it stops on a dime. The transmission loves to wind and the torque ratio is great in any gear. The body style is cool. The interior is more than adequate and is designed for sports car performance. The rev light, tire temp monitor, extensive gauges and best of all SEATS that conform to my body that prevent lateral movement during high speed turns etc. All for under $32000-WOW

  • lots of performace for the money - 2003 Nissan 350Z

My wife just got one these 350Zs and is almost as fast as my used 1991 Porsche 928GT 5speed purchased for half the price.

Traded a Thunderbird SC for this car. The Ford wasnt bad but it doesnt compare to this car. It literally goes where you point the nose. At 5500 rpm when most cars give it up, this one still has juice. The cornering ability continues to surprise me after 9 months of daily driving.

  • Still love my Z a year later - 2003 Nissan 350Z

Had a great experience with car for nearly a year. The only problem Ive noticed is the grease streak on the driver windown, fixable at the dealer.

Butt-kicking performance, style AND a comfortable ride all in one package. At a price thats not in the stratosphere. This is the best car Ive ever had. Performance ROCKS: 0-60 before your eyeballs come back to the surface, and you pretty much CANT get the tires to lose grip. The Performance Model is a really good compromise between performance and comfort, and it comes with cloth seats (in my opinion, the only way to go in a sports car. The best part is, Nissan has again (as it did with the original 240Z in the sixties) redefined the price- performance equation. Nothing this good can be had for less than about $15K more than the Z costs.
