  • Affordable SportsCar ruined by Dealer - 2003 Nissan 350Z

Besides the little problems, (Tire Noise, Bad window motor, bad, CV joint, all fixed under warrantry)This is a very good Sports car, If you are looking for a Luxury Sports car, go to BMW. I bought a Touring Z with the Nismo Exhaust and the sound this car makes is unbelieveable. Just watch out for the bad Dealers, I had to switch to different Dealers because my orginal dealer was charging me for things under warranrty (LEGEND NISSAN (LONG ISLAND)HAS THE WORST SERVICE DEPARTMENT)

  • Difficult to keep - 2003 Nissan 350Z

Bought it on Edmunds rec and loved to drive it until the tire issues came into play. I had so many tire issues. The pressure calibration needed fixing every 65 miles after 20000. Chewed up tires- horrible road noise. Terrible in bad weather- traded it for a vw passat stationwagon in 2004. Relatively pleased with the passat.

  • EXCESSIVE FRONT TIRE WEAR AND NOISE - 2003 Nissan 350Z
    By -

The 2003 Nissan 350Z has a documented front end suspension problem that causes premature front tire wear and loud tire roar. Autoweek has reported that Nissan is now investigating the problem but no word yet on a recall. Otherwise you will be buying expensive new front tires every 5000 miles. The problem is explained at www.nissantireproblems.com

  • Dont do it! - 2003 Nissan 350Z
    By -

After two years of aggravation I finally managed to sell my 2003 350Z Touring just before I ran out of free tire replacements. At 10,400 miles the car was on the second set of tires, second ECU, third battery, and it had left me stranded five times. Nissan’s service department is the worst to top an already bad situation. Every time the car went in the shop it was there for days at the time (including tire alignments) and they would never call. The Bose stereo’s CD player only worked on warm days but when it does its nice and loud.

  • dont buy a nissan - 2003 Nissan 350Z

Nothing but problems with the z. Front end problems that nissan didnt repair because they couldnt get the tires to fix the problem.( P.S. dealership sells tires) Air conditioning problems that they temporary fix by recharging the system not stopping the leak. ( they get $90 from me to recharge the system ..nothing if they fix it) Squeaks and flex noises that will drive you insane. And now a fuel hose recall that will need the whole rear end to come off for a fix! Would you take it up to 100 after nissans mechanics got done with it?

  • Fun drive, back and forth to the dealer! - 2003 Nissan 350Z
    By -

Absolutely worth the small amount of money to go to enthusiast. Traction control alone is worth 1500. Cant beat this car for the money in a fun to drive sports car. I loved every minute of it, just a shame I had so many problems. If they fix the issues for 2004, dont pass up the opportunity to enjoy a true sports car for a great price!

  • Its not all good - 2003 Nissan 350Z
    By -

Bought it new. Have 20k miles. Still happy with performance but not real happy with anything else. Im glad its my wifes daily driver, not mine. Alignment was off from inception and it wore the tires prematurely on the inside tread. Dealer realigned the car but nissan refused to replace the worn tires at 14,000 mi. Ever since then there is an extremely offensive howl from the front end. All guest passengers comment on the noises and finish with "well, i wouldnt buy one". Im going to have to replace the tires when they appear to be only 50 % worn due to the how.L. Its been back to the dealer several times due to the problem. No guarantees that $500 new tires will fix the noise.
