  • Best Value in a Sports Car - 2003 Nissan 350Z

Ive had 3 Zs and this is the best. Performance is excellent; handling is as good as a Porsche and driving it is fun. The ride is harsh, but thats the way it is with a true sports car. The rear visibility is poor and the stock tires are terrible in wet or snowy weather, so you have to replace them with quality G/T sports car tires that have a good rating is wet weather. Terrific performance for the money.

The Good: - great handling - gutsy engine - great exterior design - fantastic engine note - supportive seats - what a bargain! - can steer with the GO pedal:) The Bad: - creaks and rattles with only 12000 miles - notchy shifter that needs a lesson or two from Honda - choppy ride - orange dash lighting screams "Pontiac" - chintzy interior plastics - rear visibility - touchy brakes The Ugly: - the absolute WORST stereo Ive heard outside of an AM radio; Nissan/Bose should be ashamed

After two years of aggravation I finally managed to sell my 2003 350Z Touring just before I ran out of free tire replacements. At 10,400 miles the car was on the second set of tires, second ECU, third battery, and it had left me stranded five times. Nissan’s service department is the worst to top an already bad situation. Every time the car went in the shop it was there for days at the time (including tire alignments) and they would never call. The Bose stereo’s CD player only worked on warm days but when it does its nice and loud.

I loved the car while I was able to drive it. Found out I was expecting and had to give the car to my husband and get something else. Hope to get another one for me

I have owned my Z for seven months now and there hasnt been a day yet that I havent been excited to get into it and drive it. It is an extremely fun and exciting vehicle. It handles great and the body style is so cutting edge it turns heads constantly going down the highway. Its the best vehicle I have ever owned!

  • Why I will never get rid of my 350Z - 2003 Nissan 350Z

What a joy it has been to own this car! My husband bought it for me for Christmas and its definitely the best car Ive ever owned. We did comparsion shopping, looked at the Lexus 2 door, the Audi TT and the Mercedes, but this has been the best decision weve made. The sleek style of the car along with the engine make it a pleasure to drive! I cant wait for the convertible to come out later this year!

The Z has a ton of torque and killer looks. Two regular golf bags fit with a bit of room left for soft sided luggage or duffles. Averaging 18+ mpg in stop and go suburban driving and a heavy foot. Zero problems and no defects so far. If you are looking for a great two seater, look no further.
