  • Nissan does not care....AT ALL - 2003 Nissan 350Z

I have had the Z now for a little under a year now,my car has tirehop, intermittent powerloss at 4-5k rpm from engine sensor, the drivetrain is making noise and the car needs its 2nd alignment(tire hop issue), There is a smell of mold coming out of the A/C vents, dash + interior rattles and I had to call nissans consumer affair division because there service centers do not seem to want to take ANY responsibilty. Service reps have the audacity to tell you these problems are NORMAL on a car less than 1 year old, Shame on Nissan. I am so fed up with my car that i am going to get rid of it.

  • Bring on weekends - 2003 Nissan 350Z

My wife has watched this car through its development and we have not been dissapointed with any detail. The kids are grown so we could buy a car without restraints of meeting are families needs. Its affordable, the nice thing about this car is you can get the performance, styling, handling, of much more expensive sports cars that wont meet your budget until youre old enough to have your license revoked. Bring on weekends, it can make driving the freeways fun, but give it a chance to run free on mountain roads and it will take you back to your youth.

  • cant get enough! - 2003 Nissan 350Z

Spectacular! I was a bit reluctant to buy a 350z at first, of course the performance was great, the look spectacular, but what about the no back seats or the harsh ride. well after about a month or so of driving, i had forgetton about what i might be missing and was concentrating on shifting b4 reaching redline, watch ppl disappear in my rear view and listening to the wonderfully tuned v-6 engine along with with awesome cool sounding bose stereo that comes in the touring model. Also this car gets tons of attention, even though theyve been out for a while, i still get looks cruising along the coast. people treat it, as if its an exotic.

  • Fun, Affordable, Head-turner! - 2003 Nissan 350Z

I bought this car from a dealer that grabbed it at a dealer auction. It had 12k on it. I had the service bulletins performed to correct the toe settings and some window grease streaks. Other than that, all i do is drive down the road and i get stared at in this car. Its a redline track model and the excitement of this car is believed by many and understood only by those who drive it. The handling and acceleration are next to none. However this is a true muscle car and definitely worth the money. I couldnt be a happier camper. I do feel that the interior lacks a little luxury, but you dont buy a sports car to have a posh interior.

  • Love my Z - 2003 Nissan 350Z

I do love to drive my Z. I love how the interior has been layed out and how easy every thing is to use.I would never buy another vehicle without the Nav system now, the ultimate guy tool.I think it gets great gas mileage, I get 25 to 30 miles a gallon, unless Im hitting the gas a little hard for what ever reason. The only complaint so far is the tire noise. At around 8000 mile I started to get the famous 350Z tire noise. I have not taken it in yet but plan to soon. From what I hear,it is a know problem. I have the touring package and for the price, it will be hard to find a nicer sports car..enjoy

  • I dont want to complain, BUT......... - 2003 Nissan 350Z

Car is great fun to drive, but there have been LOTS of minor issues that negate that - audio system sounds great, but repaired twice (not under warranty); crappy placement of 12V outlet and cup holders (cant use radar detector!!); driver side auto-close window doesnt work, tires replaced twice, thumping passenger-side seatbelt, etc. Anyone owning the 350 certainly recognizes these problems BUT.....to drive this car is to forget these admittedly trivial issues (theyre not that trivial, but I get very forgiving once behind the wheel)........

  • 350Z Review after 25,000 miles - 2003 Nissan 350Z

I have owned my 350Z for almost 2 years and drive it on 1-5 hour trips and around town. It is fast and reliable and has never been in the shop except for 1 tire recall (I got 2 new tires after 18,000 miles) and normal maintenance. The Z is fun to drive - the 6 speed makes the experience better. The ride is acceptable for a sports car, the interior is plain, however the outside is still fashionable and the 3.5 L engine is the best. I miss a back seat, but for the price, you get a lot for your money. I call it my poor mans Porsche - I tell my Porsche owner friends that I can buy 2 Zs for the price of 1 Porsche and enjoy it more. You cant go wrong with the price, power, and look.

  • So happy - 2003 Nissan 350Z

I have been eyeing the 350Z for years and am so glad I made this purchase. I love the feel of the interior, the looks of the exterior, the wide power band, the on-rails handling, and the sound the engine makes when wide open. I realize that there are various problems that will undoubtedly arise so I got an extended warranty and am not too worried. This car gives you confidence and I get looks everywhere I go. I love the ride and even make my daily commute in it. This car gives me a thrill that I cant accurately describe. Im not sure if I own the car or it owns me.

  • Slot Car Racer - 2003 Nissan 350Z

The handling with this car is absolutely amazing. It drives like the car is connected to the road similar to the slot cars one had as a child. It rides a little hard but that is expected and desired from the Track model. If you want great performance you cant go wrong.

  • Great car with minor issues - 2003 Nissan 350Z
    By -

Like other reviewers, I have suffered the same "tire roar" and front end noise that has plagued 350Z owners since the cars inception. After taking the car to Firestone to get my tires replaced recently, the helpful technician, a Vette owner, suggested that I take the car in every 3 months to have this toe-in problem fixed. You can purchase a lifetime alignment from Firestone for a very reasonable price and taking the car in every 3 months or so insures that the wear on the tires will be a bit more normal. Tire wear aside, the car has been a dream and I have enjoyed it thoroughly. As I am getting a bit older now so the utility of a 2-seater is beginning to reach its end for me.
