This Year's Model Updates:

The Mercedes-Benz C-Class sedan has been completely redesigned for 2008. With the exception of its two available engines and three-pointed star, everything is new and improved. There are also more standard features this year. An all-new C63 AMG model debuts later in the model year.

Pros:
  • Distinct sport- and luxury-oriented models, responsive steering, stable handling, smooth ride quality, impressive Multimedia package, intuitive COMAND controller, excellent build quality.

  • Happy once again - 2008 Mercedes-Benz C-Class

After many Mercedes I believe that this is the best overall package. A great overall balance of ride, handling and luxury. Many people comment on the lack of leather upolstery as standard, but my experience with the MB Tex has been much better durability and appearance after several years of use. I would recommend the P2 package. You will really appreciate the visibility afforded by the Bi-Xenon headlamps. Once you have purchased Mercedes no other vehicle will do.

  • From an SUV to a MB - 2008 Mercedes-Benz C-Class

The ride, performance, and quality are very close to the Edmunds review. The change from a full size SUV to the C300 was a major concern as I am over 63". As it turns out I am confortable in the C300 with some legroom to spare. However I dont think many people could sit in the back behind me as the leg room is quite limited. The mpg savings will off-set the slight increase in payments. This is probably one of the best vehicles that I have owned. I highly recommend the C300.

  • Baby Benz has Grown Up to be a Big Benz - 2008 Mercedes-Benz C-Class

Just purchased the C350 with leather, Prem 2, MMedia, Ipod intergration. Must say I made the right choice over the Lex and Infin. What a fun drive, great pickup, perfect balance driving exp. Mercedes has done a nice job with the interior design and space at 62" the car accomodates my ht. The C350 no longer has that femine design (2007), the 2008 is masculine with a design women will enjoy as well. The car performs exceptionally well with the overall beauty of a smaller C63 AMG with a $100k lower price. The only negative for me is the IPOD intergration, doesnt allow full fuctionality of IPOD. Plays songs alphabetically. What a drag for a nice car. Dont buy comes with standard mp3 jack.

Picked it up at the factory in Germany and drove it around Europe on the autobahn and back count ry roads. Fun to drive and very responsive on the short on and off-ramps of Europe. Did not get many add-ons (P 1 package only), but it is great. I love my car! Found that the folding mirrors were a godsend in medieval towns where a few streets were unbelievably narrow. The bellhops in every town loved the arctic white--most cars of that model in Europe were black, grey or silver--and I really like the Savannah/cashmere interior. Get the all weather mats though. Could see that the carpet would get dirty rather quickly without them. Especially love the steering.

  • Love our Benz - 2008 Mercedes-Benz C-Class

We waited until retirement to purchase a Benz. Ive wanted one ever since I can remember. My husband and I both love this car. Weve not been disappointed with the purchase. The ride, handling, and everything about it makes us wonder why we waited so long. It looks good on the outside and feels good on the inside. We selected the black/black. This combination looks really good, but it does dirty quickly. Oh, well, guess thats the price one has to pay to drive the car of ones dreams. People think we paid a lot more than we did, it looks that good! And an added bonus: were getting plenty of extra exercise parking far away from other vehicles in parking lots!

  • Great balance of comfort and performance - 2008 Mercedes-Benz C-Class

After test driving all the usual suspects in this category (BMW 3, Audi A4, Lexus IS350), I found this vehicle to have the best balance of style, comfort and performance (not to mention best brand value and brand recognition). After 4,000 miles, I have to say I love this vehicle. It brings a smile every time I sit in it. And it still smells like brand new!

My lease was up on my 04 325i. Saw the pics of the c300 and had to see it in person. Immediately fell in love. The ride is superb. The car looks and feels more like an expensive luxo-car. Its comforts are so much better then my BMW.

  • Great MBZ - 2008 Mercedes-Benz C-Class

Put 1000 miles on it so far. Had for one week. Red on black is very sporty and looks great plus is very fun to drive. For a 4 hour trip worked great and comfortable for 3 tall adults and 1 labrador. Everyone stops and looks. Highly recommended.

  • Hot Ride - 2008 Mercedes-Benz C-Class

Looks, looks, looks. Thats what the new C350 has going for it. I love the AMG styling, handling, and sportiness. Sometimes the suspension beats you up on PA potholes, but Im used to driving a heavier car. Its lightening fast too. MPG is a bit low for a car, but performance makes up for it. Wish the interior was just a bit more posh vs. functional, but the new NAV is leaps and bounds ahead of old MB designs. Overall, I would recommend this car. Its a Mercedes, and surprisingly affordable vs the competition!! Go for it. Palladium Silver is a beautiful color.
