The Mercedes-Benz C-Class sedan has been completely redesigned for 2008. With the exception of its two available engines and three-pointed star, everything is new and improved. There are also more standard features this year. An all-new C63 AMG model debuts later in the model year.

Pros:
  • Distinct sport- and luxury-oriented models, responsive steering, stable handling, smooth ride quality, impressive Multimedia package, intuitive COMAND controller, excellent build quality.

  • I Made the Right Choice! - 2008 Mercedes-Benz C-Class

I recently purchased my C-Class 350. Before doing so, I was torn between this car and the new 08 Cadillac CTS. After test driving both vehicles, and thoroughly comparing all features, I decided to go with the Mercedes. Now, Im pleased to say that I made the right choice! I love this car! It has quick acceleration, handles beautifully and had a smooth quiet ride. I ordered it fully loaded and have upgraded Mercedes AMG chrome wheels. The multimedia sound system is awesome and the craftmanship is very sounded! The Germans really know what they are doing when it comes to putting out quality automobiles. I could not be happier! I am so glad I invested in this car.

I traded my 2005 Acura tl for this car 30 days ago and am very happy with it. Looks good, rides good. 7 speed auto is very smooth and better gas mileage than my previous car.

We just purchased a 2008. The vehicle is beautiful. The power is more than adaquate. With all of the safety options and driving control/traction we cant wait to use it in the snow as we travel in the Denver/Boulder area. This car will be our last "big purchase" for us for a long time. It has all of the features Cant lose with a Benz, however you also cant get a true "Benz" without adding the options and plan on spending over $45,000 when you are all done.

  • Solid, Smooth, Quiet! - 2008 Mercedes-Benz C-Class

I love this car! I have a C300 sport in Palladium silver with Grey/Black MB-tex interior. The only options I got are 7-speed automatic and iPod integration, which Im very happy with. This car is the most solid and secure car Ive ever driven and the overall build quality is fantastic. The steering is lighter than expected, but it makes it very easy to drive. Very strong brakes, plenty of power, a nice exhaust note coming out the back, a firm yet comfortable ride, and excellent, well controlled cornering. Its very quiet as well. Also, the aggressive styling makes heads turn! I test drove a 328i, but the C300 is a much better value, smoother, and the styling is worlds ahead of the 3.

  • The best car I ever bought - 2008 Mercedes-Benz C-Class

Most comfortable little car Ive ever owned. It handles the road very well especially when making turn and sudden stop.

  • Wind Noise---Room situation - 2008 Mercedes-Benz C-Class

This is a car that I purchased for my wife, who had been driving a 2002 Audi A6. I realize this car is smaller and not designed to compete with the A6 (even the older 2002 Audi A6), however, things that she and I both notice everytime we drive it on the highway is the wind noise emulating from the winshield. In snow (we have 4Matic) it doesnt handle like the Quatro A6 shed grown to love...not even close...the back seat room is limited to children (no way 4 adults will be comfortable on a trip in this car. Lastly, the dash (she has the pop up nav screen version too) lacks style...it looks "american," and is outclassed by the new Cadillac CTS that it competes with...thats a first!

  • Great Car - 2008 Mercedes-Benz C-Class

I got this car several days ago and so far my experience has been great. Its fun to drive, looks sporty and definitely attracts a lot of attention. I think it will be a big hit with young drivers

  • Decent Entry Level Car - 2008 Mercedes-Benz C-Class

Not as luxurious at the Infiniti G, not as sporty as the BMW 3 series and not as reliable as the IS350. Purchased it because it was priced the best out of all 3. The other 3 cars had too much power and were too expensive. This car isnt on par with the other 3, but you get what you pay for.

  • First Mercedes - 2008 Mercedes-Benz C-Class

Traded in my 2002 Lexus ES 300 and could not be happier with my decision. Although somewhat smaller than my ES 300, it still offers plenty of room for 5. Innovative styling along with a very comfortable ride add to the driving experience. Car is very quiet and offers smooth highway acceleration.

  • Great Entry Level Luxury - 2008 Mercedes-Benz C-Class

In my purchase decision I compared the C300 Luxery model to the Lexus IS 250/350, BMW 135/335 and Saab 9-3. For all I was looking at 08 models. In my opinion, the Mercedes C300 offered the greatest driving performance and luxury experience along with the best value. Certainly the fun factor is greater in the BMWs, the Lexus is slightly quieter and the Saab most offordable. The C300 is, however, very fun to drive and the engineering allows you to push the 3.0L V6 to its limits. A very fun ride but with comfort for every day driving.
