The Mercedes-Benz C-Class sedan has been completely redesigned for 2008. With the exception of its two available engines and three-pointed star, everything is new and improved. There are also more standard features this year. An all-new C63 AMG model debuts later in the model year.

Impressive automobile - 2008 Mercedes-Benz C-Class
By tom tadych - May 29 - 4:30 amWe had purchased a new 2007 Lexus 460 for around 70K in Nov. of 2007 and for various reasons were not utterly impressed. Terrible in the snow! Decided to buy a smaller, less costly, but still high end auto that would be great in the snow. Had my Land Rover LR3 in for service one day, saw the new 300 and test drove it. Wow! Loved it, bought it, drove it 2500 miles and enjoy this car more each time I drive it. Ditto for my wife. Have not missed the Lexus 460 one day. Never thought I would say that. The truth of the matter is we are considering trading the LR3 for a second C300AWD. Will wait for the new Audi A4 this fall before making the move. The Benz will be tough to beat!!

Good News / Bad News - 2008 Mercedes-Benz C-Class
By Michael Larkin - May 11 - 2:06 pmI have driven a Mercedes C class for the last 8 years and the cars are the best I have ever owned. This year I got the C300 sport because of how great it looked. Everything about the car is tremendous except the seats. They are possibly the most uncomfortable I have ever sat in - almost to the point that I can not drive the car. I am trying to resolve with the dealership and hope they will come through. Would hate to lose them as my number one brand.

By JFC - March 31 - 4:10 pmBigger, faster, smoother, and quieter than my 2004 Comprressor Sports Sedan. Appears to be improved in all areas. Classic Mercedes exterior styling, but the company should swallow half the cost & put real leather in all models to elevate itself above the BMW 3 Series entry sedan. Received a great deal with year end factory rebates & convenient home delivery!

A True Benz - 2008 Mercedes-Benz C-Class
By AtlantaJim - March 14 - 5:46 amAfter driving the 3-series and IS 250, the Benz just offered more of a "best of all worlds" package. The BMW is a better performer and the Lexus has a touch more luxury, but the Benz has the soul of a sports car with the comfort of a luxury machine. The list of standard features is impressive, and Ive never seen a car turn heads like this one.

The best C. - 2008 Mercedes-Benz C-Class
By CRay - December 27 - 2:50 amThis is for 2008 MB C300 Luxury. I traded in my wifes 2006 BMW 325 (I am glad I got rid of that disappointing car. So noisy my god the chevy 2500 diesel was quiter - no kidding). Love this C class though. Smooth, quite and fast enough for me (I am mid 40s). It does everything in Merced way. I owned the previous C (2003) and didnt like that one either. But his one is defeintly a winner. Thank you Mercedes to built this.

Nice 1st M-B - 2008 Mercedes-Benz C-Class
By thjatty - November 7 - 12:40 amThis is my first M-B and I really enjoy it. The quality of the build is very nice and it performs well for city and highway commuting. Although it is between a compact and a standard size sedan, I fit comfortably (being 5-9" and 200 lbs). The heated seats are nice, and the DVD-NAV display is very cool. I dont have much trouble with the technology, other than trying to decide which one to use as this car is very multi-task functional. The engine is great for the size. I have owned Porsche, VW, Chevy, Ford and Chrysler products. Hands down this is the best overall package Ive ever had.

I Love This Car - 2008 Mercedes-Benz C-Class
By pebblebeach - October 13 - 6:00 amI was cross-shopping BMW 335i and Audi S4. When I drove the C350, I knew this was the car for me. Sure, its not as fast as either the 335 or S4 but overall it is perfect. Mine has the P2 package, Multimedia package, Panarama sunroof, 18" rims and iPod adapter. There are more audio storage options than I could probably ever fill. The stereo is great and the build quality is fantastic. I love driving this car and everything about it. I have no regrets and do not miss having a BMW. I will keep this car for a long time. Drive it, you wont be disappointed.

Looks full size and sporty - 2008 Mercedes-Benz C-Class
By Ann Arbor Bob - September 22 - 7:06 amBest feature is the distinct design change between the sport and lux. Looks like a full size sedan compared to the previous C-Class (the Civic looked bigger). Rear seat room is equal to that of the E-Class. Lacks in power and gas mileage... but hey, its a Mercedes. If I wanted power I would wait for the AMG to tear the asphalt up...and gas... comon.. who am I kidding? Its a Mercedes, I didnt buy it for fuel economy! Looks like a 50k car - I highly recommend the AMG 18" wheel upgrade.

German engineering with a bit of fun - 2008 Mercedes-Benz C-Class
By Rick - July 24 - 10:10 amWhen you buy a C 300,or a 328, or A4, youre buying a good German engineered automobile that delivers sporty and capable driving dynamics without being a performance car, enough features to please most drivers but no luxury amenities (unless you add optionals that will shoot up the price), and comprehensive maintenance/service (every 10k miles or so). Its a very good car that makes me look forward to the E550 or E63 AMG.

Car on "mute" - 2008 Mercedes-Benz C-Class
By kleyva - June 5 - 9:26 pmFrom the mystique of the Mercedes-Daimler-Benz corporation comes a middle-of-the-road midsize sedan that does not surprise the owner in any way. This is my 1st MBZ, I have never driven one before owning this one. Fairly comfortable, very good looking exterior, with adequate power. All of this in consideration of the $30K plus price tag. When you buy the symbol of quality and luxury, that is exactly what you get– just the symbol. Purchased CPO and added 2 yr warranty.
