Overview & Reviews
Although it maintains much of its chassis architecture, the 2010 Mazda 3 is otherwise an all-new car. Highlights include revised exterior styling, improved fuel economy and power, a more modern interior design and new luxury-oriented features.
- Athletic handling and performance, high-end interior, unparalleled available luxury features, available hatchback utility.
- Ride may be too firm for some, interior and trunk not as large as those of competitors.

Pretty mediocre car - 2010 Mazda Mazda3
By Anonymous - May 12 - 2:00 amOne year into ownership with the 2010 Mazda3 and its got a few positives, a few negatives and overall a lot that is just blah. The engine is rough-riding, doesnt rev well and when matched to the archaic 5 speed auto delivers wretched fuel economy: mostly highway driving and the car returns 20-21 MPGs. The engine seems to strain on any incline. The interior still feels cheap and rough. The car handles well but that cant make up for the fact its mostly just a bland car with a bad transmission and engine.

Awesome Mazda 3 2.5l. - 2010 Mazda Mazda3
By chaps6 - April 22 - 3:10 amI bought the Mazda with 34k miles on the clock. It has all the bells and whistles...sat nav, bose, keyless entry, zenon, bucket seats etc. I have now done about 10,000 miles without a single issue. I hope to have this car for at least another 100k miles...perhaps pass it onto my kids when they are old enough to drive. It feels incredibly safe, very assured on the road and pretty sporty. ItÂs no race car but it really handles well and has create torque when you put your foot down. I looked at all sorts of other cars first golf, accord, mini, jetter, passat, hyundaiÂs etc none came close to the reviews this got which is why I bought it.

Zoom Zoom on down and get your MAZDA! - 2010 Mazda Mazda3
By Ladyv618 - April 6 - 10:00 amI recently traded my Scion TC for a Mazda 3i Touring, and dont regret it. Ive always driven a coupe, and didnt think I could get away from them. Now Im in a Mazda sedan and love it! The car is great! The solidness and quality of this car is something to talk about. Ive purchased 7 cars in my lifetime, but never test drove a Mazda until now! I think I will be in the Mazda family for sometime now.

Poor Build Quality - 2010 Mazda Mazda3
By Koontz - April 6 - 10:00 amHad always been a Honda or Toyota person, but bought this due to great finance offers. Delivered with 3 small scratches on bottom of door but dealer insist it was done during the 48 hrs I had it. At 10,800 miles, hubcap comes off on interstate, and -- of course -- I had ran over something. Dealer says "we have 1 for $70!!" Nothing better for your bottom line than to make 8 or 900% profit on parts !! Already has wind noise and squeaks, wish Mazda would buy me out of it so I could get something else. Nowhere near as well built as I expected, and Ill never have another Mazda. Looks nice, runs ok, but thats about it. Gas mileage is very good, great brakes, but NO POWER LOCKS !!!

LOVE my new Mazda!!! - 2010 Mazda Mazda3
By cubbiesfan10 - March 31 - 2:46 amI was having a VERY hard time with the thought of getting rid of my Toyota Corolla S for a new car since I have never had any problems with my Toyota and absolutely loved that car. But it was time. After owning my Mazda 3 for one week I can honestly say purchasing this car was the best move I ever made. It has a very sporty feel (the low profile tires and sport-tuned suspension make it fun to drive). I feel like the car hugs the road and has VERY good pick up for being a 4 cylinder. I was VERY impressed at night when I noticed tiny indigo blue LED lights illuminating my cupholders and arm rests. This car is very well made, fun to drive and priced extremely well for all that it comes with!

Great car I love it. - 2010 Mazda Mazda3
By jorart1 - March 27 - 10:16 pmI have had the car for only 3 weeks but once you drive it youll know that is a great car to own. The quality of the interior is great, i would dare to say that is very close to perfection. I do think like other reviewers said that you get more than what you pay for (at least it feels that way).

Remarkable Car - 2010 Mazda Mazda3
By ppudgem - February 16 - 2:03 pmJust got a fantastic deal at Duncan Mazda outside Blacksburg, VA. Purchased 2010 Mazda3 iTouring with 0% financing for 60 months and $500 loyalty cash for $16,500 out the door. It is a sweet ride with all the amenities. Our 1999 Mazda Protege ES has 259,00 miles and runs like a top although it has rust. Bottom line, the iTouring is the current generation of reliable, fun-to-drive and economical Mazdas. We compared ours to Honda Civic LX, Ford Focus SES, Suburu Impreza, and Toyota Corolla, and believe we got the best value.

Worst car ever. - 2010 Mazda Mazda3
By briannnaaaaa - January 30 - 10:46 amThis is my first car. Ive had it for about 2 years and 2 months. I loved it at first, then things started to break. My window almost fell out on a highway, all my tires have been changed at least twice, and they went bald after a year and 6 months. Ive had my breaks changed after a year. My passenger has stopped working, twice. So many more things have gone wrong with this car, I dont have enough room to type it all. I never should have gotten this car. It is horrible in the snow, and just starts failing after a year. Im never getting another Mazda, and Im ending my lease as early as possible. The driving is pretty decent, but its definitely not worth the money.

Good car with a couple of minor issues.... - 2010 Mazda Mazda3
By ddau - January 22 - 11:50 pmI have owned my 2010 Mazda 3 Gran Touring 2.5L 6 speed since October of 2010. I recently hit 30K miles on it. It does have some minor workmanship issues. When its cold, the instrument cluster rattles (which stinks if you have OCD). The front left speaker needs to be replaced. And now the front rotors are warped. The dealership told me over the phone this morning that in Colorado, warped brakes are a common problem, but they arent going to do anything about it because its wear and tear. Funny, I havent had any "common" brake warping problems in my other cars I own, especially at 30K miles. Its a decent vehicle, but I have been reading up on the Dodge Dart.... just sayin.

Mazda Dream - 2010 Mazda Mazda3
By Hold on - January 16 - 5:03 pmIts about time someone built a competitively priced vehicle that has great looks, handling, and of course power too.
