This Year's Model Updates:

Although it maintains much of its chassis architecture, the 2010 Mazda 3 is otherwise an all-new car. Highlights include revised exterior styling, improved fuel economy and power, a more modern interior design and new luxury-oriented features.

Pros:
  • Athletic handling and performance, high-end interior, unparalleled available luxury features, available hatchback utility.
Cons:
  • Ride may be too firm for some, interior and trunk not as large as those of competitors.

  • A Wonderful Car with Loads of Extras - 2010 Mazda Mazda3

Ive only had my car for a week but so far I am real pleased and have no remorse. It really does feel like a small luxury car with all the features and stylings. I cant wait to drive it when Im sitting at home. I never drove the i version, but the larger engine has lots of zip, no problem passing cars on the road

Great little car. Handles great, strong, powerful engine, amazing bose sound system, solid construction, hatchback is roomy, gauges are clear and easy to read. I fell in love with this car the min a drove it and didnt even hesitate to trade in my civic on it. Couldnt be more happier with the car. Styling, power, handling, and stereo are hard to beat for the $20k I paid for it!

On paper this is not the car I wanted. I wanted a status symbol, something flashy and powerful. But the reality of my 7 mile commute (with 8 stop lights) made the ideal of some 300 hp monster seem a bit absurd. Enter the mazda 3 gt, fully loaded, it has all the gadgets I wanted, uses regular fuel, and costs a heck of lot less. Steering is nimble and quick. fit and finish is excellent. Good power, can chirp the front tires even with dsc on. I find myself grinning while driving. . . just because.Taking a corner at 40 mph, better than a latte to get the heart going in the morning. Drives like a smaller car, think miata with 4 doors.

I have owned this car for about 6 weeks now and I can say I absolutely love it. I originally wanted to get the Grand Touring, but they didnt have any in stock and I picked up the s sport instead and I dont regret a thing. I constantly make excuses to go places just so I can drive the car. I may be one of the few who say this but I like the front grill, I enjoy driving something that looks different from the other cars on the road. I have had many compliments on the car and I couldnt be happier driving it.

  • Watch the tires - 2010 Mazda Mazda3

After four months I have finally found something to complain about. Watch out for the 17" low profile tires. Lots of construction this summer/fall around here, and as careful as I try to be, raised manhole covers on stripped streets waiting for resurfacing have already claimed 3 tires. And these tires are not cheap - $200 per pop! Ive been driving for more than 30 years and this has never happened before, so I can only put it down to the low profile tires. On the plus side they do give amazing grip, and help the tremendous road holding of the 3.

The 2008 GT was a good car with luxury items patched on to it. The 2010 GT is an improved car ( Horse Power, Handling , HWY Gas Mileage , Front Lights,Styling ) with the Luxury items designed in from the start. The steering wheel human interface for the Audio / NAV / Driving Metrics are first rate. Dual Zone Temp Control/ Heated Seats / Push Button Start / Bose Sound are all executed in fine fashion. At $25K- $26K you have a BMW Handling / Acura Electronics Sporty- Luxury car. The Acura TSX costs about 32K and is a "floater" in terms of Handling. $25 K might buy you a BMW hub cap. Like the Dodge-Hemi Charger this car makes those who spent lots more for a similar car feel strange.

  • In love! - 2010 Mazda Mazda3

This car is awesome! I test drove all the other cars in its class, and after driving this one, I bought it on the spot. It looks so much classier/sportier than others I looked at, and The Bose Stereo is great, also loving the sunroof! Having Bluetooth standard is nice too. Coming from a V6 to a 4 cyl. wasnt a big deal as this thing can get up and go. To anyone looking for a car packed with options at a reasonable price - and great looks - BUY A MAZDA! You wont regret it.

  • Absolute best car for the money - 2010 Mazda Mazda3

I just purchased a 2010 Mazda3 using the CARS program. After a lot of searching for a vehicle, and test driving my fair share, I was turned onto the mazda3 and never looked back. The biggest complaint that most people seem to have is the room, but I tend to disagree. I am 65" and I fit in this vehicle better than the many SUV and larger looking vehicles. I will admit that my roominess may be at the expense of my the backseat passengers, but thats just a perk of being the driver! The handling is unreal, and the bluetooth feature autosynchs with my phone the second I start my car. This is the best car I have ever driven.

  • Great Car - 2010 Mazda Mazda3

Went from a Lexus IS 250 to a Mazda 3 GT with the tech and bose package. Couldnt be happier. For well over $12,000 less than the Lexus, I get far more features (heated seats, rain sensing wipers, seat memory, bluetooth phone AND music streaming, xenon adaptive headlights, Navigation, etc.). Much more fun to drive than the Lexus (got the 6sp manual on the 3). For the price (I got well under invoice) there is nothing that can compare.

  • Fun car with a lot to offer - 2010 Mazda Mazda3
    By -

Had this car for 1 month and absolutely love it! Very much a bargain for what was included in the Grand Touring (leather, climate, sunroof, sound). I little bit noisy on uneven pavement but very nimble and fun to drive. The hatchback offers a lot of versatility and the styling is very European - not boring like so many of the sub-compacts. Gas mileage could be better but I am willing to give up a few miles per gallon for the additional horsepower. Highly recommend this car.
