The LX model is now available with a sport package that includes a new five-speed manual transmission, side step bars, Michelin tires, alloy wheels, roof rack, leather-wrapped steering wheel and keyless entry. A two-tone gray interior color scheme is also new, and metallic interior accents replace last year's wood grain accents.

  Great Bang for your buck - 2004 Kia Sorento

  This is a fun truck to drive! My husband even loves it (hes an F-350 man). Great towing, pulled our 4 wheelers and snowmobiles without a problem. MPG could be a little better. However, with the money I saved I dont mind putting a couple extra bucks in the tank. KIA did a great job design wise. I was looking at the BMW X-5 when a co-worker bought one and spent more time in the shop having it repaired than she owned it. I have not had one problem with my Sorento in 17,000 miles. I love it! I will consider another one when that time comes.

  Sold a Pacifica to get a Sorento - 2004 Kia Sorento

  As far as the SUV market out there this KIA wins hands down. Ride handling and features are better than all the other models I test drove sold my Pacifica to buy it needless to say had about 9k left to take it on a vaction to the Keys 16 hour drive from Va.and could have turn around and drove right back the ride is that good,seats are great.I got the loaded model all but 4WD (dont need it here) tows my boat and other things great.

  After reviewing the KIA website I was intrigued enough to go to a dealer and take a look. The quality, performance, ride, good looks and pride I feel when others look and inquire as to "what is it?" I traded a full sized luxury sedan thinking I would be giving up the luxury. Wow was I wrong. I not only have all the luxury I was accustomed to, I own one of the most unique vehicles on the road today.

  My Sorento is a true SUV. I have a lake cottage in northern Michigan and in winter it goes thru 16 inches of snow no problem. In summer it pulls my 18 foot boat. In spring it handles muddy back roads. On the highway it rides like a luxury car.

  I think that this is a great vehicle you cant beat the safety or the value for the price. I the sorento out does any vehicle in its class considering you pay over 25,000 for a Toyota Highlander but if you break down you will learn very quick they do not have any roadside asst.

  This is the from kia (S U V ) beside the Sedona Van. The ride is smooth with a lot of leg room.I have been driving the Sorento for over a Year now and I like every moment of it. When I was looking for a SUV I wasnt loking for a sport car I was only looking for a 4x4 with low maitenance and somthing good for my budget.

  This thing is awesome. I was a bit aprehensive because it had the name Kia, BUT when I actually drove it the car was amazing. This is truly a must have when shopping for a SUV. Low price + Great SUV = Phenominal Buy

  I am mechanical engineering professor, and was looking for a SUV. Saw all, including US made, Germans, Swedish, French, Japanese, etc. Then saw the Kia Sorento and thought: "Well, another good looking car, but with nothing inside". Asked for a test-drive and was impressed. Then, took the test car for a trip off-road and was convinced. I have one Sorento for 9 months now. Great fun to drive, very good quality, very reliable, fairly economic (if you use a selected engine oil it gets real economical: I use BP Visco 7000 (0W40)). I am just curious about maintenance costs: until now I didnt had any problem with it.

  We were in the market for a SUV,and have owned sports cars in the past.This Sorento gets it !! I test Drove all the competitors and KIA SORENTO Won the challange HANDS DOWN! The Body Lines are the Best of all comparable Models.We Bought the 04 EX added the Leather Seats,Bug-Shield,Roof- Spoiler,Step-Bars,Brush Gaurd,Mud Flaps,Vent Gaurds,Front Window Tinting,Allezza Tail Lights,Removalble Dog Barrier,etc... And Drove it HOME under $27,500. Thats with all extra undercoating,paint sealer,leather gaurd...WOW plus 5 year/60,000 Everything (Roadside Included) and 10 year/100,000 Powertrain. My Advice is "Check Them Out"
