Overview & Reviews
The sedan receives exterior styling revisions with a new hood, grille, bumpers, side sills, taillights and wheels. Sedans now make as much power as the coupes -- 280 hp (up from 260) and 270 lb-ft of torque (also up from 260) on models with an automatic transmission. Coupes and sedans equipped with a manual transmission get even more power (298 hp) but sacrifice 10 lb-ft of torque. Sedans with the sport suspension package also pick up 18-inch wheels and drilled aluminum pedals. All G35s get a redesigned instrument panel and console area with aluminum or wood trim, and the manual transmission has been improved to provide a lower shifting effort. A Sport version of the coupe debuts this year and includes an even firmer suspension, a limited-slip differential, 19-inch forged alloy wheels and drilled aluminum pedals. Oddly, though, Brembo brakes are no longer available on manual-shift coupes.
- Powerful V6, balanced and capable handling, roomy cabin, reasonable price.
- Average interior materials quality, touchy brakes.

Love my G35 - 2005 Infiniti G35
By GLF35 - December 8 - 3:10 pmMy G35 is an awesome car. I compared the Acura TL, BMW 3, and the Lexus 330. THe G rocks. It is fast, and fun to drive. I highly recommend it.

A great machine made better for 2005! - 2005 Infiniti G35
By DTSCol2005 - October 22 - 7:16 amI had reservations about purchasing a 2003 or 2004 G35 Coupe because of their poor interior design and quality. This year Infiniti fixed this cars major flaw. I love the interior of my 2005; real aluminum, a clock thats not blocked by the navigation screen, and a steering wheel that is backlit. This car is now the complete package, attractive exterior design, unbeatable performance and handling, and a luxury interior.

The best bang for your buck! - 2005 Infiniti G35
By Michael Z. - October 20 - 6:43 pmAfter exaustive research is finally purchased my G35x. The car is absolutely a blast to drive. I wanted a car with true sports car dynamics, comfortable ride, and some luxury appointments. I also wanted all wheel drive, and the reliability that generally comes with Japanese vehicles. For me it quickly became clear that the G35x offered a near perfect combination of all the things I was looking for in a car for a very competative price, especially when compared to its German counterparts. Compare the statistics, and then go drive one. This car sells itself.

A Smile a Mile - 2005 Infiniti G35
By NullA10 - October 15 - 1:30 amFor pure fun and comfort, I cannot think of a car that I have owned in the last 10 years that has given me a greater driving thrill than this one.

Well-rounded German slayer - 2005 Infiniti G35
By KGM - September 23 - 10:13 amAnyone who is looking to spend between $30K-$40K for a sports sedan with all- wheel drive and has been focusing their attention on BWM, Mercedes or Audi products is doing themselves an injustice by not test driving the 2005 G35X. In the first few minutes behind the wheel, you can tell that the Infiniti engineers logged plenty of hours at the helm of those German benchmarks, and learned from what they experienced. The new G35X performs and handles like a sports car, has the look and feel of a luxury sedan, and shreds snow covered streets like a 4x4 suv. No car in its class can do so many tasks so expertly for so little sticker shock. Sorry 330xi and A4, but there is a new kid in town.

Attention Getter! - 2005 Infiniti G35
By Sarcasmos - September 19 - 4:36 amIf you crave attention, this is the car to get! I just purchased a Diamond Graphite coupe with the sport-tuned suspension package with the gorgeous 19" wheels (I also had a nose mask installed). This thing turns heads....BIG TIME!! Not to mention that the exhaust sound is amazing....I cant decide whether to listen to that or the great Bose sound system!! Oh yea...did I mention that it is really REALLY quick? Trust me....get one of these....you wont regret it!!!

G35X - 2005 Infiniti G35
By Dick - September 8 - 1:06 pmThe quality of the Infiniti G35 is exceptional for a vehicle in its price class. Compared to my Jag S-Type V8, the Infiniti stands head and shoulders above in all categories.

Stop looking and buy this car! - 2005 Infiniti G35
By Nora - August 24 - 9:13 pmI looked at a BMW 3 series, a Lexus GS300 and this car. As soon as I drove it I fell in love! It is unbelievably powerful. It made the Beamer feel like a toy car, and of course the Lexus doesnt even compare. And yet, it is the ultimate LUXURY car! I feel like Im driving a Cadillac. Every imaginable comfort and gadget comes standard! And the price... OH THE PRICE! Not only the purchase price, but its Japanese, so the cost of owning is WAY less than a BMW! The only negative is the fuel economy (around 20 miles a gallon, but its my fault because I cant help but keep pedal to the metal.) Its a gorgeaus car and SO fun to drive. Quit looking! You NEED this car.

G35x Best of all worlds!! - 2005 Infiniti G35
By Larry - August 24 - 8:23 amFirst, I am 64" so I dont have the pick of all great sports cars. However, I am very comfortable in the G35x (its larger than the 325ix) -- it handles great and its incredibly fast. Living in Rockland County, NY where it snows alot, all wheel drive gives me the best of both worlds, excellent rear wheel drive handling and AWD when you need it.

G35 is a rocket - 2005 Infiniti G35
By al - August 20 - 10:30 amI have never owned a sport sedan before that was really a sport sedan until now, even with the automatic transmission it blows BMW 300s away in performace and price.
