Overview & Reviews
The sedan receives exterior styling revisions with a new hood, grille, bumpers, side sills, taillights and wheels. Sedans now make as much power as the coupes -- 280 hp (up from 260) and 270 lb-ft of torque (also up from 260) on models with an automatic transmission. Coupes and sedans equipped with a manual transmission get even more power (298 hp) but sacrifice 10 lb-ft of torque. Sedans with the sport suspension package also pick up 18-inch wheels and drilled aluminum pedals. All G35s get a redesigned instrument panel and console area with aluminum or wood trim, and the manual transmission has been improved to provide a lower shifting effort. A Sport version of the coupe debuts this year and includes an even firmer suspension, a limited-slip differential, 19-inch forged alloy wheels and drilled aluminum pedals. Oddly, though, Brembo brakes are no longer available on manual-shift coupes.
- Powerful V6, balanced and capable handling, roomy cabin, reasonable price.
- Average interior materials quality, touchy brakes.

The most fun I have had in a car!!! - 2005 Infiniti G35
By Chris - March 18 - 10:43 amInfiniti has done a great job in revamping the 2005 compared to the 03- 04. The interior quality is 10 times better than before. This vehicle is a real head turner, that is what I love about it. The performance is great, you will hit 110mph before you know it. Also the new sport package is great, the fact that I can get a 19" wheel is awesome.

Great Car - 2005 Infiniti G35
By Great Car - January 1 - 4:10 amThis is the best looking car(coupe) hands down under 40k. Its fast, sleek and sexy. This machine will have you doing things you didnt know you could do. Infiniti out did themselves with this one. Get a used 2005 coupe while you still can. Caution: leave your girl or boyfriend at home when driving this coupe.

Bluetooth and Gas mileage. - 2005 Infiniti G35
By Jason - November 21 - 9:40 amJust purchased a g35x. Love the car. Car stands out from the rest of the pack. I opted for the black with graphite interior and really believe this is the best choice. Only thing I would like to see changed is better fuel economy and possibly bluetooth. Overall really enjoy the drive.

Love my G35! - 2005 Infiniti G35
By Crazeebert - October 26 - 5:40 amI love everything about my G35. I picked the sedan over the coupe because it is easier to get in and out of it, especially when taking more than one passenger. It has a lot of pep, it it smooth as silk to drive and it looks sporty for a sedan. I think it is the best value on the road!

Japanese BMW - 2005 Infiniti G35
By Dasher2143 - September 23 - 11:06 amIve owned three BMWs - two 3-series and a 5-series - and drive hard; my 5-series had the Dinan Stage 2 kit in it. Got tired of maintaining BMWs. Wish I had done it two cars ago. Infiniti has tons of power, handling is excellent, car is so solid in feel. If you have $50K for a BMW 550i and $3K a year to maintain it, ok, but the G35 is very, very damn close for 40% less money. Lows: Brakes are not quite up to what I am used to. Bose stereo is a disappointment. The suspension is smooth, but not as composed as a BMW over rough pavement. Highs: Power. Engine has a great sound. The design is well thought out. Good back seat space/comfort. Inexpensive maintenance compared to a German car.

Best of all worlds - 2005 Infiniti G35
By The Hooligan - September 14 - 4:16 pmOverall, best buy in this class...period. Compared to Acura TL, but FWD was a turnoff. I have driven the G35X in snow, sleet, freezing rain, and dry...and nothing can stop it. The "snow" mode is priceless in itself! Improvements in the interior from 2004 are many, including better seats, nice gauge layout, and real aluminum trim. The best part is actually driving though. Acceleration is superb. Braking is strong. Handles well. AWD steering is heavy though, so it takes effort. SMARTKEY: worth the price to leave keys in pocket and go! MP3 player works great with burned CDs. Price is good considering content.

World Class Sports Car - 2005 Infiniti G35
By Mikel96413 - August 26 - 7:10 amThe G35 coupe is the best all around sports car for the money on the market today. Performance, comfort, safety and styling are second to none. Not to mention the fun factor. The tuned sports pkg with 19" high performance tire is a must option. Two adults can ride in the back seat comfortably as well. Test drive it before you buy your next sports car
