  • Best buy of my life - 2003 Hyundai Tiburon

Ive owned this car for awhile now, and I must say, this is probably the best vehicle ive purchased to date. Its reliability is stupendous, and the car is most fun when you find yourself on a twisty road and youve got the 6- speed manual to play with. I have to say my only complaint is the clutch, but a few bucks will take care of that problem. All in all, this is my new favorite car.

  • Outrageous car!!! - 2003 Hyundai Tiburon

Hyundai has done it! The new 2003 Tiburon is not heard of, at this price at least. It is nice and FAST, and with a few inexpensive modifications it is even faster! Everyone asks what I drive, I comment just a Hyundai, see the faces of disgust, but then I show them the car and give them a ride, the faces change and they want one now! I say get it if you want it, who cares if its Hyundai, you will be surprised!!

People have always looked upon Hyundai as a throw away car, something just to get you around. The 2003 Tiburon GT V6 is going to change the nameplates image. The Tiburon GT V6s E.T at 15.3 sec moving 90.8 MPH, out does many in its class such as Civic Si (15.8/ 88.1), SVT Focus(15.8/ 90.6), and Eclipse GT(15.5/ 89.9) in the 1/4 mile, while finishing only a few ticks off the Acura RSX type-S(15.1 /94.7). (Motor Trend). The car leaves only one thing to be desired: go-faster parts that will not void the awesome warranty.

Loved the car as soon as I saw it. Dealership let me take it for an afternoon test drive. Had to have it.

  • Great car for a young person - 2003 Hyundai Tiburon

I got my 03 GT in 2008 with 76k on it. The dealer I got it from said they fixed an AC line and needed tires to meet MD inspection. I drove the car like I stole it everyday and it never let me down! I sold it in 2012 with 156k on the clock. When I owned it all I replaced was a wheel bearing, the clutch and radiator. Other than that it was just the normal oil, tires, breaks. The car was very fun to drive made ok power and was pertly good looking for a hyundi. NOTE its a small car backs seats do not fit anyone over 55. I had a chevy before this car and that thing was a money pit very happy I owned the Tiburon when I did. Great car!

I had a 96 Celica for 6 years. Great car. The Tiburon is better. A very powerful car with eye catching body lines. This car says fast from the Euro style headlamps to the muscle car looking dual exhaust. It must say it because Im constantly being challenged by people in the typical tricked out Japanese models. Theyre learning quickly that the V6 Tiburon isnt their Moms coupe. Ive been looking for a new car for over a year and was VERY disappointed with Toyotas choice in redesigning the Celica. Im very happy Hyundai put this great car together.

I’ve owned many interesting and sporty cars over 40 years but I have never been asked so many questions about a vehicle than this 2003 Tiburon GT. Small children to older adults of every ethnic background seem curious. For me, I knew I made the right decision when I drove it home and feel the same way after one full year and 15,000 miles.

Thank you Hyundai! My wife had that "Oh No, hes looking at Porches and BMWs" look in her eyes. I had decided after some 25 years of driving family sedans that the next car I bought would be something sporty. I had never heard of a Tiburon before I entered the marketplace. Wow, what bang for your buck! Now, not only the teenagers in my neighborhood but their parents too are taking a second look when I drive by! Sorry BMW! But I got a lot more car for 1/2 the price!
