Worst Car Ive ever owned - 2011 Hyundai TUCSON
By amym71 - January 19 - 10:10 pmBought this car thinking it would be perfect once the kids left home. I couldnt be more wrong. The seats are very uncomfortable. The bluetooth wouldnt work. Within the first month, the brakes were squealing so bad, you couldnt hear the radio. On cruise control at 70MPH, the transmission started slipping then started in everyday driving. I took it to service, they found nothing on the diagnostics. Before anything else could go wrong, 10 months into owning it, I traded it in. I will never own anything from Hyundai again and will tell everyone I know about this horrible car.

Mistake in purchasing this SUV - 2011 Hyundai TUCSON
By kazakone - March 2 - 8:26 pmReally wanted to love this vehicle but ultimately had to get rid of it after only 6 months! First road trip, only 3500 miles was stranded between AZ and CA. Threw a rod, had to have a new engine ordered and installed. Did I mention only 3500 miles??!! Began to notice rattles right away, gas mileage never what was advertised, brushed nickel (?)substance on steering wheel started to peel off, front fender came loose. Didnt care for the dealership in AZ as well, didnt return calls, provided inaccurate information. Not at all helpful. Definitely cannot recommend this vehicle!!! Would like to think it was not a Hyundai issue, but just got stuck with a lemon.

Extremely Disappointed - 2011 Hyundai TUCSON
By rtexas - June 7 - 1:44 amBought this vehicle new in May, 2011. Manifold was replaced at 5,000 miles, between 5K and 13K it had to be replaced 2 other times. Radio system had to be replaced; brake switch had to be replaced. Yesterday the vehicle was towed to the dealer as the transmission switch was defective. I was stranded on the road when the transmission switch broke; I understand vehicles have a break-in period; however, I believe this is out of the ordinary. I contacted Hyundai and was told that the dealer will repair all mechanical problems. Not the answer I was expecting.
