Pros:

Cons:
  • Handling could be sharper, cramped third row, some high-end features not available, some low-grade interior materials.

I was very impressed with Hyundai when I took the Entourage on a test drive. I was shopping for a Honda mini van, and saw a Entourage. I drove a Honda Odyssey, and then drove the Entourage. The Odyssey did handle a little better, but it lacked power that the Entourage had. The main thing that sold me on the Hyundai was the price, and the awesome warranty that the car came with. I mean come on 5 year 60,000 Bumper to Bumper, and 10 year 100,000 miles powertrain, how can you pass that up. The Honda did not offer that. You had to pay thousands for that extended warranty on the honda. The MPG could be a little better, but that may be my habut related problem. I highly recommend it.

  • A Great Vacation Ride - 2007 Hyundai Entourage

I rented a 2007 Entourage in Salt Lake City for an 8 day, 1800 mile vacation through Grand Teton and Yellowstone Parks. The drive was on mountainous roads in winter conditions. This vehicle has a strong drivetrain with fast acceleration and effortless mountain climbing power. Handling was sporty and the ride very comfortable. Gas mileage was outstanding and amazing averaging about 27 mpg. This included a considerable amount of stop and go driving between scenic turnouts in both parks, and some idling to keep warm while viewing wildlife, not to mention the cold weather conditions and, at times, snow covered roads. Overall, I am very impressed with this vehicle.

This Entourage minivan is the best qualtity car I have ever driven. I have driven BMW 3 series. Actually I am more satisfied than BMW in its comfort, brake, manuvering on the street, in all the matters in drving.

  • 12 repairs in 12 months - 2007 Hyundai Entourage

At first, I was completely thrilled with our purchase. However, then the problems started. We have had two oil leaks in the first year, one spontaneously shredding wiper (scratched windshield!) followed by two spontaneously NOT-working wipers. Also, we are currently in the arbitration process trying to resolve a loud knocking noise in the front of the car. This alone has brought the car into the shop 5 times!! The gas mileage is definitely lower than advertised, and for the mpg that I actually get, I would rather have a large suv with more power. I do *like* the cars design though. It works well for our family with 3 small children, and comfortably fits all that we require.

  • HYUNDAI - MADE IN CHINA? - 2007 Hyundai Entourage

WOW, I was told I had the only Entourage in AMerica with the vibration problems. Usually around 70mph, but also while braking. Since purchasing in June of 06, dealer had vehicle 2 months trying to "fix". They replaced both front wheel hubs and for 60+ days my problem stopped. Cancelled BBB complaint. It has been a nightmare since then. Still have vibrations, but not all the time. The brake rotors have been turned three times, replaced twice along with pads the last time. Hyundai rep replaced on a goodwill basis. Aint he nice? Hyundai is finally making me an offer to replace the vehicle completely. Of course I have to pay for the miles I put on, and Hyundai thinks that is fair.

  • Goodbye SUV....lovin the van! - 2007 Hyundai Entourage

Probably the best bang-for-your-buck vehicle on the planet, and it looks sharp, too! Paid $25K out the door for an SE trim even with over $1K upside down on the trade. SE trim is worth the extra $$ -- much "nicer" inside and out. I dont know how the rest of these people drive, but gas mileage for me averages between 20 and 23 mpg -- great considering it has the biggest engine in its class. Drives like a dream -- great visibility, power and comfort. Considering a comparably equipped Honda or Toyota was $8K, not to mention their warranties were no match, the decision on this vehicle was an easy one!

  • The Facts - 2007 Hyundai Entourage

For the mileage I drive mostly highway (80%)and after 3000 miles I averaged 22 MPG. I can only say that if you are seeing 15 MPG as some have stated, there is a serious problem that needs to be looked at. I cant see why there isnt more of them on the road. My dealer took 2 weeks to find one in red and they didnt have any on their lot. My negatives are... No mp3 jack. Brakes are way too sensitive. Hyundais radios have always been poor. ( I have owned 4 other Hyundais)The reception is even worse with the in the window antenna. Darker carpet color to hide tracked in dirt. Floor mats are not standard. Give me a break.

  • Youre just wasting $$ with Honda,Toyota - 2007 Hyundai Entourage

Like most looking at this car, I needed a family hauler. Looked at SUVs (actually fell in love with the Mazda CX-9 and the Hyundai Veracruz. Sad thing about both are you carry the family or stuff - but not both. Now I was stuck looking at minivans. Compared the Toy, Honda and the Hyundai and there was only 1 choice. Maybe people feel better spending $40k+ on the same thing from Honda but not me. I like the better warrentee. Build quality is the SAME believe it or not. All the new Hyundais in the last couple of years have had amazing reliability, rivaling anything from Japan. Spend more if you want to - but all youll gain is a few more MPG!
