Great SUV - 2007 Honda Pilot
By Jack - June 7 - 1:33 pmI have owned 3 Explorers, 1 Blazer and 1 Yukon and this is definitely the best yet. I picked it up on a Friday and went out of town the next day. I got 25 mpg on the highway. I paid $3,000. less than I was quoted on the Toyota Highlander and this is a good bit larger vehicle. This has got to be the best SUV in this size class. Before purchasing I check the sales prices of 3 yr. old Pilots with over 50,000 miles and they were selling for only $5,000. less than I paid for thes 2007 model. Hows that for not much depreciation!

Excellent Midsize SUV - 2007 Honda Pilot
By JH - June 1 - 3:09 pmI spent a lot of time looking at all the SUV in the 25-35k price range and went to look at each of them. The Honda Pilot EX-L with Navi has them all beat. The car is extremely solid and is very roomy. So far I have owned it for a week and I love it. It drives like a car but has the functionality of a SUV. To own a fully loaded SUV for under $30000 (sticker price $36,000) is amazing. It comes with all the cool gadget as Lexus -$15,000 price tag. It is truly worth the money and will keep its value over the years.

2006 Pilot - 2007 Honda Pilot
By Dave T. - June 1 - 12:18 pmMy 1st SUV and probably last since I am a "car-guy", but needed this for family reasons for a few years. The airflow over the front fascia is such that every insect within 5 miles will splatter on your windshield. Ive had more splats on my windshield in the past 10 months than Ive had in 30+ years of driving. Windex, scouring pads and I have become very close!

Great mileage for an outstanding SUV - 2007 Honda Pilot
By Jason - May 28 - 6:15 pmWith 1K miles on it now, Im positive I made the right decision getting the Pilot. Im not sure why all the negative posts about mileage. Its an SUV folks. They all get poor mileage but the Pilot is amoung the best in class. On a 450 mile trip, I averaged 22.9 mpg cruising at 70 mph. My old Grand Cherokee wouldnt even come close with its antiquated inline 6. I bought this with gas prices over $3 per gallon knowing full well it wasnt going to be cheap to run. For those wanting better mileage, get a Civic. We were only considering Subaru / Toyota / Honda SUVs when we were shopping. The Honda had the best combination of features vs. price point.

Fine SUV for the money, good content - 2007 Honda Pilot
By vonsnooks - May 27 - 5:38 pmCame down to between this and a Highlander. We didnt go with that due to a more cramped interior with much less interior storage space vs. the Pilot. Car is well executed inside and out. Driving experience is consistent with expectations. Smooth drive train, pleasant ride. Reliability has been good to date. Mileage is a bit disappointing, but about what I expected. Averaging 18-20 mpg in mixed driving in first 7K miles, which isnt too bad considering power and weight of car.

Texas Pilot - 2007 Honda Pilot
By Russell - May 27 - 10:41 amGood so far, gas mileage is a little better than expected. Even in city driving. Maybe the cylinder management helps?

White Pilot - 2007 Honda Pilot
By Dadbo - May 21 - 5:09 pmWe are Honda family and the Pilot is my 4th. I purchased it for towing my 3500 lbs boat and it does a great job. The height and width of the vehicle is great larger than I expected. If I can keep it on "ECO" it will do fine.

Traded my Hybrid Civic - 2007 Honda Pilot
By Bud DeLay - May 17 - 8:38 pmI loved the mileage on my hybrid but I was having a hard time getting in and out and we travel alot now and needed more room. Only 2 tanks of gas through it so far, first tank combined was 20 mpg. The 2nd tank was all city and was a little over 15 mpg. I averaged over 40 with my hybrid. I love the room and the ride. Mileage is much better then the 2002 Dodge Ram 4 door pickup (6/14) I traded for the hybrid. It is quiter than the Civic and much easier to get in and out of. I feel safer driving it. I did not want 4 WD and the VCM helps with the milage. I have owned a lot of vehicals in my 60 plus years and this one is right up there with the best I have owned. Thank you Honda.

Our first Honda - 2007 Honda Pilot
By Debbie K. - May 12 - 9:49 amThis is our first Honda. The drive is quiet and smooth, fuel economy is decent, and the A/C chills quickly. All in all we are pleased with our latest purchase.

Great Family Car! - 2007 Honda Pilot
By Jon - May 9 - 5:54 pmI have had my Pilot for 6 months now and absolutly love it! I have had all the others and this Pilot easily is the best ever! And I almost bought the 4runner since I think the Pilot is funny looking! With just over 6000 miles I am just now averaging the 17mpg which they advertised. 20 mpg has been my best on all highway driving. Drive quality is fantastic and I am so glad that I got a car with third row seating so I can seperate my young boys. Car has tons of space for storage between seats and also in the back. Easily holds 4 guys and all the golf gear! Makes a great family car. Tons of space and small kids fit well in third row
