  • Stay away from this gas guzzler - 2007 Honda Pilot

Whatever nice features this car might have they pale when you consider the gas consumption. Dont believe the rated MPG. It is much worse. I get 10 MPG in the city and 17 on the highway. The car has over 20,000 miles so it is definitely past the break-in period.

So that I can turn this dog back in. No way Id ever consider buying it. Interior seems to be an afterthought. Was nice at first but no ipod jack. Heck, even a Ford Focus has this. Toyota next time

  • Bad Investment! - 2007 Honda Pilot

Having a Honda minivan, we thought that the Pilot would be a no-brainer purchase. We were wrong. The mileage is so far off on this SUV that its criminal. I dont think I broke 11-12 mpg on the highway going 55-60 without any cargo or other passengers. The engine is underpowered if you are driving a vehicle that actually contains passengers. The interior is nice, the sound system is good, and all the guages are nicely layed out. The car comes with very little coverage (which is why Honda Care is so strongly "encouraged." After putting some miles on, I am beginning to hear a lot creaking.

  • Honda lies about gas consumption. - 2007 Honda Pilot

This car is totally horrible on gas. Any decent features are totally overshadowed by its hunger for gasoline. Honda told me a bunch of lies about how the fuel consumption will improve, but I drove it for 3000 miles and dont see any improvements. For the curious, I get on average 10-11 MPG and thats both city and highway driving.

  • Hondas reputation will go down the tube - 2007 Honda Pilot

This car STINKS. The worst thing about it is gas consumption. I get from 8 to 11 MPG even though the sticker advertized 17 to 22 MPG. The car rattles, the body is weak.

  • Horrible fuel consumption - 2007 Honda Pilot

The fuel consumption estimate on the sales sticker states 17 MPG city and 22 MPG highway. I get from 9 to 12 MPG. Dealer keeps telling me to wait for the engine to break in but as I put more miles on this gas guzzler, the fuel efficiency is getting worse.

  • Worst suv I have bought - 2007 Honda Pilot

Very little power and not enough joy in driving the vehicle, way too much money for the fit and finish of it when you really look at it up close.

  • !!!!!BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!! - 2007 Honda Pilot
    By -

Beware before you buy a Honda Pilot. The car has lots of peep, but that is about it. After 65 mph, the front wheel shakes like crazy ( there are hundreds of complaints on the web about this). Honda cannot find the problem. We took the car there 7-8 times!!!!! Next, after a few months, smoke began pouring out of the A.C. and could not be driven. Then a few weeks ago, an electric problem stranded my wife and daughter (who was coming home from the Doctor). The next week, the same thing happened again. Finally, the gas mileage is HORRIBLE. Just as bad as my Ford Expedition. The EPA of 17/22 is not even close!!!!!
