Couldnt be happier! - 2003 Honda Pilot
By Happydrivers! - October 4 - 2:00 amI love my Pilot. I read all these reviews before I bought mine in 10-02. Best things about the Pilot are-its a Honda, very reliable! The center console area has tons of storage, plus a place to set my purse w/o it being on the floor. There is a lot of head room, and space on the back seat for 3, plus the 3rd row seat lays perfectly flat for storage. For the amount of space, power, smooth ride, and resale value...the Pilot is worth every penny!

Darn close, but no cigar?? - 2003 Honda Pilot
By carman34 - October 2 - 10:00 amThis car fits our needs to the "T". There is flexibility of having room for the kids and when needed, room to haul large items. The engine has next to the best gas mileage for a mid-sized SUV with the exception of the MDX; mixed commute driving is 18-20. Handling and ride are tops, again with the exception of the MDX. The engine is surprising quiet and relaxed even at 3,000 to 4,000 rpms when compared to other SUVs. The seats are actually comfortable, except for the thin padding behind the "activity tray". The storage pockets throughout the vehicle are proving more useful than one would think possible.

First SUV and happy w/ choice - 2003 Honda Pilot
By sherd538 - September 15 - 2:00 amIt deffinetely handles as nice as any car that I have owned. Fun to drive and my kids love riding in it. Plenty of cargo space. Easy access to 3rd row but 2nd row should be adjustable. smooth driving but makes an unusual amount of under carriage noise. Also the rear passenger side wheel well area rattles an awful lot (appointment setup to check problem). Other then noises and rattles the pilot is a good reliable suv. ($30,000 for cars/suvs is obserd but what can we do). Compared to the other suvs its the best bang for your buck. Buy it you will like it.

comfort - 2003 Honda Pilot
By alender - September 15 - 2:00 amThis is a great vehicle to have for families. I enjoy all the amenities that it has like plenty of room in a relatively small body, power, handling. However if you are like me and this is your first SUV after years of driving sedans, be prepared for some bumps. The ride is not as smooth as I was hoping. I do feel the minor bumps on the road, but I guess that is what you get with an SUV. Sound system is great, cloth interior is great. Tires are wide and give you great handling. Make sure you get the cross bars on the roof rack, it is very usefull. Overall great vehicle and highly recommended, just a little bumpier than I thought.

perfect pilot - 2003 Honda Pilot
By horsegirl - September 9 - 10:00 amIve had nothing but great experiences with this vehicle, its eyecatching and fulfills all expectations. Its a very "easy" vehicle. I traded a 2000 Accord V-6 Coupe for this and havent regretted my decision even once. Manuverability is never a problem, there is great visibility and turning radius is great getting into parking spots.

Honda solid - 2003 Honda Pilot
By ken04 - August 22 - 2:00 amSolid is the best way to describe this vehicle. Lots of room, quality, safety, practicality and a good sound system. Very comfortable and high resale value. Does everything exceptionally well. Looks are, well ........ unremarkable but certainly not offensive. Honda describes it as classic SUV. This vehicle is about 4-6 " wider than most SUVs and weighs nearly two tons. As a result, it provides terrific traction in the snow. If you do all of the research and then opt for a different SUV, Ill be really surprised. In terms of the money, quality and value, I dont think you can do better. Its a terrific vehicle and priced under $30,000.
