Honda 2008 Odyssey Ex-L RES & NAV - 2008 Honda Odyssey
By mbickles - August 13 - 7:46 pmWe have had the van for close to a month now and it is everything we expected. The navigation system is not the best, but the screen that comes with it makes everything else easier to read/see. The navigation itself is always giving us the "easiest route" not the most economical one. The leather interior is so worth it and the speaker system is just fine. We paid $31,800 total (plus the 6% Indiana sales tax) and used an internet quote to get the price down to where we were happy. The gas mileage was the biggest negative, but we get about 17/21

Happy so far - 2008 Honda Odyssey
By Leon - June 19 - 10:02 amWe drove it from Augusta, Ga. with 14,000 mi. It was smooth and comfortable but so was my 2000 Dodge Minivan with 154,375 mi. Too many toys on the Touring model. Fun to drive: Its a Minivan, how much fun is it driving a Minivan, its not a sports car.

Glad I bought a mini van - 2008 Honda Odyssey
By Texdav - May 2 - 4:13 pmI was really stuck whether to buy a van. But now I am glad I did. After 10 months it has been a good experience. I was also wondering about the cylinder shutdown feature but never notice it its so smooth. Mileage on a half city half hwy was 21MPG when checked. Havent really found any thing I dont like. Everyone that has driven or rode in it is impressed.

2008 Odyssey - 2008 Honda Odyssey
By Pam - April 30 - 5:43 amTouring model is a lot of fun for media fanatics. There are potentially 6 different sources of entertainment for one car and for a large family that drives a lot it is fantastic. The van is top notch for driving, handling and overall fun for civilized driving.

Car - 2008 Honda Odyssey
By dictory - March 29 - 12:43 pmWe bought this car in 2008 and it is wonderful. It runs great. The navigation system is great and it has zagat 2007 restaurant ratings. When I drove it, it was smooth, not bumpy. The gear shifter is at the dashboard, unlike the Dodge caravan, which is on the steering wheel. The rear-seat entertainment system is good and it features two wireless headphones. It is spacious and the seats are comfortable. Overall, I love the Odyssey!

Honda Does It Again - 2008 Honda Odyssey
By Daddypo - March 26 - 2:10 pmGreat vehicle. I was impressed with the comfort and upscale feel of this van. Traded in a 2000 Dodge van, and the difference was amazing. I did not notice any problem with road noise, which is a common complaint against Honda per the magazine reviews. This van has plenty of power, comfortable ride, and good gas mileage (for a van at least). Total package.

Love this Van!! - 2008 Honda Odyssey
By 08EXL - December 15 - 10:59 amIve owned 4 Hondas, including this one (3k so far). This is by far my favorite one! I love the styling, features, road feel, comfort, and just about everything. Its true that sometimes wind noise is a little loud on the highway, but it will not keep you from having a conversation with the other passengers. The Rear Ent. Sys is a definite must-have, whether you have children or not. Also, I have no idea what it must be like to drive this van without a rear-view camera. This van just feels solid, safe, and reliable!

Top MiniVan Hands Down! - 2008 Honda Odyssey
By Tom Ryan - November 29 - 4:48 pmIve owned my EX-L for about 5 months now and I must say that it is hands down the most comfortable, quality, smooth vehicle Ive ever owned and Ive owned at least 12 new vehicles from many manufacturers. Im averaging 22.6 MPG on combined city/hwy which isnt bad for the weight. All things considered I bought an excellent van and did so over a Tahoe, Expedition and other many mini vans. For the money you can not beat it.

The Best Van You Can Get - 2008 Honda Odyssey
By KenIL - November 17 - 7:52 pmI traded my 2000 Odyssey in for a 2008 EX-L and its great. I test drove 2 of them to watch for things I found in other reviews (rattles, bad brakes, poor shifting, pulling to right, etc.) and the van is great. I drove the car over multiple rough RR crossings and its as solid and quiet as you can get. The ride is nice & solid and everything looks and works exactly as it should. They made some nice improvements including better mileage with more horsepower. Nice work Honda.

Happy owner - 2008 Honda Odyssey
By alex - October 30 - 1:16 pmI recently traded an 06 Pilot for the 08 Odyssey EX-L, and I am very happy with my choice. The Pilot is probably one of the best mid-size SUV around, but with a growing family I wanted the versatility of a mini-van. I did a lot of research and I found that the Odyssey was the best bet for reliability. I find it to be very comfortable too, and the exterior styling beats the Sienna any day of the week.
