  • I Love my Odyssey - 2003 Honda Odyssey

This is the best vehicle Ive ever owned and I really cried when I traded my VW Jetta Trek in for it, but the tears werent for long. This van drives better then most cars and is just great... Theres plenty of room for me and the 3 kids and we all LOVE It. Weve travelled out of town 3 times already and have only had it for 2 months... It handles GREAT and has a very smooth ride... Of cource my wife drives it more than I do, but everytime I get behind the wheel I have the biggest smile. This is truly the best van out on the market...

  • Awesome Van - 2003 Honda Odyssey

Had this van for several weeks and really love it!! The DVD system is wonderful to keep kids entertained and the wireless headphones are great for them to listen to a movie while you are listening to the radio or a CD up front. We owned a Plymouth Grand Voyager and what a piece of junk!!! One problem after another. This is the 3rd Honda we have owned and so far we have never been disappointed. Decided to get rid of the Plymouth and return back to a Honda for dependability.

We purchased our Van new in October, 02 This is our second Odyssey. We have had 95,000 miles of reliability and comfort for my family. Best van for quality and price. Have had no issues with transmission except for recall to add a trans fluid pumping system, (one day at the Honda spa). Side doors track need to be lubricated and adjusted to so they opperate correctly. Seems to be more of an issue in the colder months.

  • Solid as a rock - 2003 Honda Odyssey

I love this van, the only annoying thing about it is when driving on some back country roads that are rough and gravelry w/potholes the ride gets a just a "little" bone jarring. But I think that is the same for all the other vans out there too.I needed to get around a tractor with 2 cars behind it on a 2-way single lane and the van just rocketed by. One guy we shot by just dropped his jaw and the movement from his lips said "Damn, a minivan?" I had floored it from 30mph to 65mph in no time. Cut hard right back in front of the tractor due to oncoming cars in the opposite lane with little body roll.

  • Good Ride - 2003 Honda Odyssey

Not the best gas mileage - BUT I find everything else about the Odyssey EXCELLENT. The ride is comfortable the view from the drivers seat is good and controls are convenient. I have not found any irritating squeaks or rattles. The dealership did an excellent job of follow up on questions and orientation of my new Odyssey.

  • Engine & Road Noise and Vibration - 2003 Honda Odyssey
    By -

Odyssey has powerful engine. But the engine and road noise is unacceptable. When I bought this LX model, it even came with the poor tires, Bridgestone. When drived above 70mph, the steering wheel is vibrating. I took it to the dealer, and they cannot feel anything wrong. The vehicle is also vibrating while cold start while the speed is lower to 1000rpm, it is not normal. The brake also produced noise while cold start. The noise level is high and make me embarrassed. Borrowed a 03 Dodge minivan from my friend and test drive, I was really suprised the low noise level inside. This Dodge minivan is not high end and even less features than Odyssey.

  • Solid Performing Van - 2003 Honda Odyssey

We have owned the van for just three weeks, and love it. Very quiet ride, smooth, powerful, and the kids dig the entertainment system (keeps em occupied!).

  • High Performance and maximum utility - 2003 Honda Odyssey

This van probably should be called the Honda Optimum. It is like having your cake and eating it too. The performance is better than most cars. It can tow up to 3500 lbs. It has a lateral acceleration up to .73. The leather seats are very comfortable. The navigation system enables you to never get lost again. Just simply flip the rear seat into the floor and you have a huge cargo bay. The steering control knob for the vol. and selection is great too. This vehicle does it all well. Zero to sixty in 7.8 seconds with 240 ponies sipping about 19 mpg combined city Highway and lots of idling in park. This the best ride Ive ever owned.
