By matt1689 - September 29 - 6:09 pmIve got a 2003 honda civic ex coupe totally gas engine 1.7 L 5 speed ive got about $200 worth of upgrades in it, trust me its totally worth it.. Im getting avg 44 mpg on the highway and 37 in the city, its got a cold air intake with a ram air inductor new exhaust, came stock with 2 mufflers, now it has one straight pipe with one straight muffler, plus a small performance chip, i go within 3mph of the speed limit and when Im coming up on a stop or going down hill i kick it into neutral. i can get between 550 and 650 miles per fill up depending on how im driving, i always fill up b4 the gas light comes one

Happy Honda Driver - 2003 Honda Civic
By Happy Honda Driver - September 21 - 10:00 amI am so in live with my Honda. It is such a smooth drive, and it handles really well. I love the displays and the gas mileage. I love how the driver controls the locks and windows. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking for a reasonably priced, reliable, safe and fun car

It works. - 2003 Honda Civic
By pbruijn - August 26 - 2:00 amUnless you have some type of phobia about being on the road in a small vehicle alongside all these SUVs, this is the car for you. It has great gas mileage,is affordable, reliable, and fun to drive. The only complaint I have is the ill designed rubber front spoiler flap which has come off in both our Civics.

Tickled - 2003 Honda Civic
By Si-ren - August 20 - 2:00 amAfter MUCH research, I bought a 2003 Civic Si a few weeks ago and couldnt be more tickled. "Pearl" seems to read my mind. I can only liken driving this car to riding a good horse -- we seem to read each other and become one. I havent gotten used to the funky exterior styling (at 39, Im a bit older than most purchasers of this vehicle) but it still gets plenty of looks and the inside makes me feel like Im in an expensive sports car. Im getting in the low 20s for mpg, but thats with my foot in it -- a lot. Handles like a dream. I like that there arent a zillion of them on the road. This is my third Civic. Guess Im a lifer. Two thumbs up, Honda.

2003 EX Civic Sedan w/ side airbags - 2003 Honda Civic
By danzreina - August 15 - 10:00 amI bought my new Honda about a month ago and am just loving it. I was debating between the Corolla and the Civic, and almost went with the corolla until I researched this website. I had thought the corolla would be cheaper but it wasnt. Plus, the civics features were much better...the one thing that sold me was the fact that the civics interior was way more roomy and comfortable for me and my passengers.

Really enjoyed this 2 door EX Coupe - 2003 Honda Civic
By Dean - August 12 - 11:31 amI had my Honda Civic for 5 years but just recently sold it so I could get a 4 door (got little kids). The car was very, very reliable and I only had a little over 51,000 miles on it. I never had any mechanical problems with it the whole time (knock on wood). I always changed the oil (myself) every 5,000 miles and made sure to change Air Filter (15,000 miles). I made sure to check the tires monthly as well. I got anywhere from 32-33 mpg around town with some highway driving. For straight highway trips I averaged around 36 on the last one. If you take care of this little baby it will take care of you. If you decide to sell your Civic, sell it out right as the dealerships will hose you.

2003 Civic Hybrid Many Problems - 2003 Honda Civic
By Scott - July 27 - 12:48 pmI have 180000 miles. Changed all fluids religiously. Had to replace clutch, transmission in Feb 08 and now IMA battery dying. $7000 worth of repairs. Very bad engineering solution for folks who care about the environment. Stay away from this vehicle...
