Honda has added a new trim level for 2002, the SE. The Accord SE is based on the LX four-cylinder coupe or sedan trim level with an automatic transmission. Features setting the SE apart from LX models include an upgraded audio system, a driver seat power height adjustment, interior wood grain trim, antilock brakes, remote keyless entry and 15-inch alloy wheels.
- Great build quality, spacious interior, peppy yet clean engines, comfortable seats, excellent resale value, reputation for bulletproof reliability.
- Everybody drives one, bland personality, stiff highway ride.

Good to go!! - 2002 Honda Accord
By Marineone - March 5 - 10:00 amThis Honda Accord is a great over all purchase. The interior I have is aftermarket leather, in which is higher quality than the manufacturers option. Gas mileage is great. I can drive from L.A. to Vegas and back on one full tank of gas and still have some left for the work week!! This Honda is good quality and craftmanship in comparison to some other cars in the same price range.

Stay away from Honda of Princeton!!!!!!! - 2002 Honda Accord
By Bruciep07 - January 27 - 10:00 amOverall, this is a very good car. Its come with its share of problems, though. #1-Bought the car spring time. I didnt use the AC for any extended period of time until mid summer. The first time I really got to use it, about an hour into the trip, i notice that my foot was wet, and that the AC drain hose was pinched in the AC box, and had totally flooded my car via the heater vents. The dealership fixed the drain problem, but did nothing about my rotting, falling apart carpet! #2-Trans was grinding in fifth gear at 300 miles, dealer told me to "let it break in". Went back next week, no more 5th gear, and almost no reverse. 2 1/2 weeks later, and a new trans.

Drive and Drive and Drive - 2002 Honda Accord
By Pro driver - January 22 - 2:00 amI would say the comfort level of the vehicle is good. It is more for the non sport enthusiast. I drive for a living with at least a 2 hour commute. I have 83,000 miles on my 2002 Accord and have had my first repair of a wheel bearing just this week. I opted for the 100,000 mile bumper to bumper but I really didnt need it. I am a very big guy and it is sometimes a little tight as I spend 4 hrs at a time on the car most days. Also I can say this car is a fantastic value for the money. At this point I am just about breaking even on my value vs. financing value as I am considering upgrading to an Acura TL.

1998 Accord EX --- Good, Could Be Better - 2002 Honda Accord
By majjikdick - December 16 - 10:00 amThe Accord offers good value, but I am not without some complaints. Despite mainly highway mileage, only 26 mpg with 4 cylinder --- not good. Have had problems with cruise control since delivery. Dealer claims no problem and after 3rd attempt refused to do anything more about it --- so much for acclaimed customer service. Finish on alloy wheels has tarnished badly and has actually "peeled" off --- again, my loss. However, the car is very dependable and offers a comfortable ride. Interior is very nicely designed and car offers driver a sense of control and confidence.

Honda - 2002 Honda Accord
By Kenny - January 20 - 2:33 pmBought the car used at 40k miles; been driving it for 4 months. Gas mileage is a little shy of what I was hoping for... getting 24 mpg average; however, it suits my 2 car seat life style nicely. Immediately upgraded the cloth interior w/Classic Soft Trim leather and the car looks brand new. As I read the other reviews, several things stand out as true; wind noise above average, low beams are low at night, rattles and bumpy ride is evident on less than average roads, and the cruise control works to hard...after hitting resume hang on, because the respones is equivalent to you mashing the pedal to the floor. Overall, sexy family hauler w/$3k in upgrades; leather interior, tires/rims, etc.
