With an all-new model scheduled for '05, there are few changes for the 2004 Ford Mustang. All models wear commemorative 40th anniversary exterior badging, while V6 and GT models can be ordered with a full 40th anniversary package that includes additional exterior and interior enhancements.

By dah - February 27 - 2:00 amIve had the car almost a month, i decided last august i was going to purchase one not even realizing it was the 40th anniversary ive been driving SUVs for many years now and have a 78 corvette limited ed official pace car 25th anniv in storage with low miles so i wanted something i could drive not put in storage that looked good and was fun and this car definately meets all the requirements i hoped it would My sister and i went shopping for her last Saturday for one, and she is now picking up hers today

My 3.9L - 2004 Ford Mustang
By whitefeather85 - February 24 - 10:02 amWe had a choice between a few beautiful stangs and bought this 04 40th anniversary edition. Fully loaded with a Mach stereo system. I upgraded the air filter, plugs and oil which made a major difference. I run at least 25-28 mpg, even going 80+mph. It handles very well, drove through a wy. winter storm and stuck to the road. Gotta love my 3.9L!

By glenn - February 22 - 10:00 amlets just say when you need the power to go its there like in trafic you need to get out of walmart and the traffic is heavy and not alot of space between cars coming. well thats just to easy. bracking is excellent sterring is awsomelets just say it gets a 10.0 rating

By PFAChief - January 5 - 10:00 amIve been looking at the GT Convertible for some time. Just got out of a 4 cylinder Honda. What a difference! This car rocks!!! I have the torch red with black top and black interior. GA Dawg fan with the car to match. Power to burn handling is amazing. This is a true American Muscle Machine. I bought mine with 1,400 miles so got the deal of the century. Lucky to be 40 and get the 40th anniversary pony car. Nothing rivals it.

By KT Ward - December 9 - 2:00 amI was going to buy a Mach I and saw this and just fell in love. Its fast,stylish and the 6 speed is just unbelievable when coupled to a super- charged 4.6. I was cruising down the highway when a red mustang ran up on me , so I just gave it more gas, doing 115 mph and he kept up. Im thinking "what?" it was another 03 cobra, just had to start laughing, but it was great! All around its just alot of fun to drive, especially off the red lights!

(performance wise) This one is by far the best fit and finish of all of them. They didnt stop making the Camaro/Firebird for no reason.

By lyndadogg - December 3 - 2:00 amThis is my 3rd Mustang. My first GT. I love love love this 40th anniversary GT. It is so bad. Black with leather interior. SO glad I finally made this purchase. Was going to go with an SUV but once I saw this bad boy on the lot, had to have it. I am very very partial to Mustangs. Always been very reliable and fast.
