I am glad I bought a 2003 NEON SXT. I am within my budget. It is the second most inexpensive vehicle in this category when compared to Civic LX, Corolla S, Protege LX, Focus SE, Lancer, and Elantra GLS. I was going to buy an Elantra, but the insurance was to high. The fuel rating in the sticker said 33 MPG. I think its less than that. I have to refill the gas tank for every 265 miles driven. I may sell my NEON in exchange for a fuel economy car.

I just bought a 2003 Dodge Neon SXT. What a great, fun car to drive. Plenty of features with plenty of zip. Great Buy for the price!

This is my second new car, used to own a new Saturn SL2 , which I trade-in for this new Neon. I took advantage of a 25 hundred bucks rebate. So far, I just made 12 hundred miles with it, and its really fun to drive with plenty of power, even though this one is an automatic one vs. the previous manual shifted. The seats are very comfortable, the stereo is amazing -dont need to spend extra money on another - So far, breaks are pretty good.

This is my second Neon, it is a much better car than my 98. Smoother, quieter, better build quality, very fun to drive, better fuel economy than my 98 Neon 5-speed, just an all around nicer car. I also have a Mazda 323, which doesnt hold a candle to my Neon. Any friends or family that have ridden in it cant get over the room, ride, and comfort, and my friends with V8 powered SUVs are embarassed after engaging in a little stoplight gran prix. Finally, take a look at the price compared compact cars of similar refinement and performance, and you will agree the neon is one of the best values around.

I like the comfort and the sound system. When the air conditioner is on, it seems to drag a little. Drives good in pouring rain, not much hydroplaning.

Bought an SXT 2003. Great to drive on a daily basis. Mileage could be better. Gas tank should be bigger! I have not been able to put more than 9 gallons of gas.(or maybe it is my Neon only). Great sund system.

I recently purchased a 2003 Neon SXT. I found this car to be value-packed and priced better than many of the imports. It feels like a more substantial car than the Nissan Sentra and Mazda Protege and costs thousands less (with available 2K rebate) than the 2003 Toyota Corolla (still a very dull car, particularly the interior) and Honda Civic.

Purchased a 2003 Neon SXT with 4-speed auto for my wife. For $12,159 got 6- speaker stereo w/ CD, pwr windows, pwr locks, pwr mirrors, alum whls, tilt whl, keyless entry, pwr trunk, lo- profile tires, tach. What a value! Handles like a sports car. Very comfortable. Great sounding stereo.

I purchased this car from the dealership I used to work for and it was a great buy even without the dealer rebate. The SXT gives you almost all the features you want for a great price. I recommend the tilt and cruise as a must have item. Id buy another one, but get the RT instead for the handling and ABS features.
