The fire-breathing 2003 Dodge Neon SRT-4 debuts, sporting a 215-horsepower turbocharged engine, a tweaked suspension and Viper-inspired sport seats. Zero to 60 is said to take about 6 seconds. All Neons receive a facelift in the form of new front and rear ends as well as interior changes that include a new steering wheel.

Most under-rated car out there - 2003 Dodge Neon
By 71charger_fan - September 18 - 2:00 am13 months of flawless performance. No squeaks, no rattles. The only things replaced were the oil, oil filter, and wiper blades.

By The Customer Loses - September 7 - 10:00 amThe car only has 5000 miles and the brakes make noise. The car has been back 3 times for this problem and the area rep from Chrysler states that this is normal. I didnt know noise from the brakes was an available option.

By sandyscats - August 9 - 2:00 amThis car with a manual transmission cannot pass a gas station without stopping for a drink.When I first drove it my gas milage was 16 MPG a far cry from the sticker that claims 39 highway & 30 city.By shifting so that Im driving in 4th gear at 30 miles an hour.I finally got 30 MPG but half was highway in 5th gear & I can Hear the transmission complain. The dealership claims that car is within specs and there is no fix. The key has a computer chip in it so that I cannot make an under $80 duplicate & carry it in my wallet. The radio antenna does not telescope into the car pillar making likely to break off,city reception is poor.

By Paul544 - July 31 - 2:00 amThis car is fast. Its rating of 214hp is way low. This thing moves out like a big V8. Fun to drive and race. The worst thing about this car is the front seats. Unless you have one skinny ass, you just wont fit. I am working on ways of "bending" the hip huggers down because it is downright uncomfortable to drive as it is now. But other than that this car rocks!!!! Cant wait for the upgrades to hit the market. I think Dodge has only scraped the surface of this cars real performance. SMOKIN!!!!!

SRT-4 = Compact muscle - 2003 Dodge Neon
By halfhemi - July 13 - 2:00 amThis car performs better than many cars that cost much more. It may have the shell of the Neon econobox rental, but its a totally different animal under the hood. Do not buy one of these cars unless you want to feel some g-force while under full throttle. They are true performance vehicles. Ive had 0 problems with this car. Im still amazed after 1-1/2 years of ownership :wink:
