Overview & Reviews
Entry-level Sport model gets bigger wheels (16s versus last year's 15s) and all Durangos now have four-wheel disc brakes. Inside, you'll find a six-disc CD changer as a new option. A redesign is due for 2004.
- Strong V8 engines, smooth-shifting transmission, excellent ride quality, rugged good looks.
- Dismal gas mileage, dated design.

Luvit!!! - 2003 Dodge Durango
By jimbo-d-man - July 24 - 2:00 amLooked at (and drove) the "big three" mid-size SUVs, and the Durango won out hands down. Didnt like the feel of the Explorer, and the T-Blazer looked pretty cheap inside. Plus, I REALLY liked the V8 power on the low-end. Tysingers was a dream to work with.

By emanmano - August 28 - 2:00 amthis is my first brand new vehicle and i love it! i drove a 92 ford explorer and finally decided to go w/ the durango. as a single guy, the sxt is the way to go (i saved $3,500). i love the v8 engine and the smooth ride...very responsive to quick turns! i upgraded my seats to after-market leather and i feel like im riding first class everytime i sit in it!

Like this Ride - 2003 Dodge Durango
By EzRider - January 26 - 2:00 amThis is not my 1st SUV. This vehicle has a very responsive V8 and is a rear wheel drive that is made and designed to pull a trailer, haul passengers, and carry cargo. This SUV does what it was designed to do very competently with a very solid feel. I have pulled a 3200lb trailer with this SUV and was very pleased with the way it handled. This is NOT a small SUV, but a mid-size that competes very well with its larger rivals.
