Overview & Reviews
Entry-level Sport model gets bigger wheels (16s versus last year's 15s) and all Durangos now have four-wheel disc brakes. Inside, you'll find a six-disc CD changer as a new option. A redesign is due for 2004.
- Strong V8 engines, smooth-shifting transmission, excellent ride quality, rugged good looks.
- Dismal gas mileage, dated design.

Great vehicle - 2003 Dodge Durango
By mart328 - December 5 - 2:00 amI have owned this vehicle for less than a week, but so far I absolutely love it. It is a very smooth ride, and living in pothole ridden NYC that is very important. It handles the road very well.

Excellent Suv - 2003 Dodge Durango
By Reroe - November 12 - 2:00 amI have the Durango 5.9 R/T. Its beyond everything I expected it to be. Dodge has really came through by producing a Suv, that is "just right". This baby packs enough power to easily pull 7,000 pounds, and yet it seems that the big hefty engine is still asking for more. Its also a sharp looking ride. I get compliments on this thing quite often, and I have not yet added anything to it, nor have I made any modifications. Its all stock. Now that says a lot. Now I am really praising Dodge for their new redesigned 2004 Durango. Its 7inches longer, 4inches taller, and three inches wider than the ones that are out now. Great job Dodge, keep up the good work!!

Best SUV out there - 2003 Dodge Durango
By CNickGrL - November 1 - 2:00 amThis car is fun to drive and ver reliable. We have taken this car across country while pulling a 5th wheel and never had any problem and it still had great power.

love my Durango - 2003 Dodge Durango
By Lisa2 - October 30 - 2:00 amI bought my 02 Durango right before winter. I drove it all winter with no problems even though it was only the 2wd version. It got me everywhere I needed to go. Its very roomy & comfortable. The sound system is great. The look is great. We put aftermarket 18" wheels & a back fin on it & I get lots of second looks with it!

Great vehicle - 2003 Dodge Durango
By Ryster - October 15 - 2:00 amThe 2003 Dodge Durango is easily one of the best mid-sized SUVs currently on the market. After cross-shopping the Grand Cherokee, TrailBlazer, Explorer, and Endeavor the Durango stood out as the best handling and most comfortable of the group. The ride is excellent, the handling responsive, and the brakes very confidence inspiring. Comfort is the best of the SUVs I looked at and the dealer was the friendliest and most honest with respect to pricing/negotiating. With the current incentives on this vehicle it is hard to go wrong choosing the Durango.
