Overview & Reviews
The 2006 Dodge Charger is a new full-size sedan but shares many of its mechanical components with the Chrysler 300 and Dodge Magnum.
- Striking looks for a sedan, Hemi V8, firm handling, refined ride, roomy and comfortable interior, reasonably priced.
- Looks plain from behind, some low-grade interior plastics, hefty curb weight.

Great Car!!! - 2006 Dodge Charger
By deedo27 - January 28 - 8:23 pmBought this car when Mustang wanted couldnt be found. Wanted hemi, but settled for V-6, more affordable. Love the styling, reminds me of old Chargers...ride is smooth, and handles great, 50/50 weight distribution makes this car a real agile machine.

Awesome Vehicle - 2006 Dodge Charger
By Carl Tripodi - January 14 - 1:53 pmI just plain love my new 2006 Dodge Charger. I am finding any excuse to drive my Charger, and my kids love riding in it. The Charger is an awesome sight to behold, it looks and performs like a true muscle car. I have gotten nothing but compliments about my Charger. Everything rocks with the Charger, even the stereo. I hope Chrysler keeps it up, they seem to know what American cars are suppost to look like and perform.

Yup, Its another Mopar alright - 2006 Dodge Charger
By DaMoparGuy - December 16 - 11:00 pmMopar is back with the return of the Charger. I think that they should have saved the return of the HEMI for the return of the Charger to make a huge come back, but hey, thats just me. This car is no slouch on the gas pedal, and less than half way up the rpm range, you realize what a Hemi is all about. This is an excellent reincarnation of the classic Mopar performance car.

Me and my RT - 2006 Dodge Charger
By WackyWayno - November 20 - 9:53 pmGot my blue RT with the road and track option almost a year ago. It has been a great car for me. Ive only had to take it back for oil changes. Im real picky and usually have to have the dealer fix a few little things on my new cars. Not this one. Glad I ordered mine with road and track option. The better seats are great and the other extras were worth it. Fun to drive. I car pool and after a couple of days not driving it I miss it. Just starting it is exciting. Ive always bought new cars, and this has been the best. Not happy with fuel economy. Ive owned V-8s before that did better. Ride and handling are very good for this size car. If you drive it, you will like it.

Make a Difference in the RT/Basic - 2006 Dodge Charger
By Ms. Educated - November 6 - 6:50 amI love my car, but dont like the fact that the only difference noticeable is the HEMI on the side from the basic 3.5. The interior could have more comfortable seating and the option on the RT could be a heck of a lot more than is offered in the selling deal. The dash board in the RT should be Indigo blue, the driving light should have blue like tint. Make the RT more attractive for the beautiful car that it is.

Power, Stye and refinement - 2006 Dodge Charger
By James - November 4 - 1:36 amDriving the SRT8 Charger is an experience in fun. The handling, power and comfort take you to places most four door sedans cannot unless the price tag exceeds 100K. It is a fun car at a fun price.

A car for the ages - 2006 Dodge Charger
By Joe O. - October 12 - 10:13 amWhat can I say, this car is exceptional because it is what it is. That being an American name plate car that eats the imports for lunch and dinner. In these times of too many Camrys and too many Accords, this is whats needed. Yes its reliable, yes its fast, yes its comfortable, and it doesnt look like it came out of a cookie cutter mold. The car gets stares and a lot of questions asked about it. And I tell everybody who asks that this is the best car Ive ever owned. It always seems that old stereotypes about "bad" American cars keeps the public buying wishy washy foreign cars. I just say, bring em on!
