Overview & Reviews
The TrailBlazer gets a host of minor interior improvements this year. Seating has been restyled and boasts comfort and quality improvements. Detail changes include revised chrome accents, trim enhancements and a new instrument panel appearance. Among the new options are an audio system with CD/MP3 compatibility and full-length side curtain airbags (which replace last year's front-seat side airbags).
- Strong engine performance, comfortable highway ride, extensive features list, user-friendly controls.
- Skittish handling around corners, numb steering, generic interior design with mediocre materials.

Cant keep it running - 2005 Chevrolet TrailBlazer
By R. Breski - January 25 - 8:48 pmCurrently in shop w/ 46k, at 25k new cylinder head, at 35k new trans, at 45k new cylinder head again, and while they were in there found timing problem. Like everything about the vehicle but it just wont stay away from the service department. Owned GM all my life, never had an experience like this, not sure if Ill buy another. Did I mention they have had this vehicle in and out of service for a total of around 2 months.

Hate my TrailBlazer - 2005 Chevrolet TrailBlazer
By towldy - November 23 - 2:57 pmI have always been a Chevy person, but this will be my last one. Bought this SUV new and have had problems with it. At 9,000 miles a rear door started rusting on the inside. I am on my third set of hatch shocks. First time they went bad I almost got my arm caught in hatch. Fan belt squeals every morning and I get 12 miles per gallon. Really dissapointed with this vehicle. It only has 13,000 miles on it. GM quality is a major issue.

Trailin Blazer - 2005 Chevrolet TrailBlazer
By "Trailin Blazer" - August 15 - 7:23 pmIts all in the name. I just bought this vehicle (my 1st Chevy or GM product) and everything about the way this car screams cruising. Yes it has the horses but it takes forever to get up there. The car does not accelerate. Its like being dragged out of bed to go to school when we were kids. It starts off VRRRRRR (do I really have to?) RRRROOOM. Once it gets there, its cruisin. This vehicle is for cruising only and its great for that purpose only. I have the EXT version LS equipped with the basics. Its about as long as a SUV can get. I was surprised at the horsepower this thing has. After owning nothing but foreign SUVs, this GM product has changed my thinking about domestic products.

Roomy, Gadgeted-up Gas Guzzler Just OK - 2005 Chevrolet TrailBlazer
By Darin Lawson - July 8 - 7:06 amI swore Id never drive a Chevy again, but the employee-discount deal made a 2yr lease on this T-Blazer cheaper than the four-year-old Eddie Bauer I was looking at, so I relented. Took it through a car wash the other day; the top windshield molding blew off. My wife opened the door the other day; the inside door seal fell to the ground. Plasticy interior has had a couple rattles already. Biggest complaint is the lack of travel on the seats. Im 63 and cant get the seat low enough to feel like Im riding "in" the car, rather than "on" the car, plus no lumbar or lateral back support- my 96 Ford had a better seat. It aint bad, it just could be better..

Not Too Excited Over This One - 2005 Chevrolet TrailBlazer
By DC - May 15 - 6:23 amPoor design for console cup holders. Cheap design to hold headliner up around sunroof. Owned this vehicle since March 11th and already having issues. More money needs to be spent on better materials for interior and less on computerized options that arent used very frequently.
