  • So happy! - 2010 Chevrolet Equinox

We just bought the Equinox in June after 4 months of researching MANY crossovers! I love it!The styling is so nice,Ive had 2 different people compare it to a Lexus and Mercedes. No complaints as of yet. Its my first 4 cylinder, so it is taking me a little getting used to that, but it isnt a huge difference from a 6. Roomy enough, love that you can adjust the backseat, remote start, rear view camera (is also taking some getting used to),and the price for this car is excellent! We paid 24,995.00. I also cant understand why editors rated it only 7.5. The new design on this Equinox is so sharp. Had a very hard time finding the LT1 in Black Granite, but it was worth the wait.

  • Great Value for the money - 2010 Chevrolet Equinox

This is the first Chevrolet I have owned and I must say that I am quite pleased. I test drove a Ford, GMC, and Chevrolet and the Equinox was the best out of all three. Drives smooth and quiet. Bumps are hardly noticed. Space is well used, cargo area is large for a midsized SUV. For a V-6, sufficient power is available when needed.

  • $34,000 car, where are amenities? - 2010 Chevrolet Equinox
    By -

Love my car, but didnt realize until got it home, no passenger side power seat - what? and No programmable garage door opener--I consider these standard equipment on a mid-priced car. I got the LTZ and added granite paint, 18" wheels, audio/navigation system, I just assumed that it would have a power passenger seat and programmable door opener. I was driving a Buick Rendezvous that had all these amenities and seats that folded flat

  • Very impressed with the LS - 2010 Chevrolet Equinox

I can honestly say, for a new vehicle this is the greatest value I have ever purchased GM has really come a long way in a short time. The vehicle has a great ride, smooth over bumps, quiet interior, comfortable seats and all with good performance and fuel economy. The 2.5 L/4 Cyl coupled with the 6 speed transmission is a surprisingly effective combo so far I havent found the acceleration lacking and the fuel economy for a vehicle this since is a pleasant surprise. I never had OnStar or XM stereo in my vehicles but I do enjoy having both available to me and will renew. I am very happy with my LS AWD and would gladly purchase the same vehicle if given the choice again its a great value.

Ive had my LS AWD for a about a month now and I can honestly say I am very happy with this vehicle. The standard features are really impressive with this vehicle. XM Stereo, Onstar, push button automatic seat height and lumbar support all standard. The 2.4 L four cylinder with the 6 speed automatic is really a surprise to me. The transmission shifts smoothly and at the appropriate torque level. Acceleration is also quite good for the power train and of course, the fuel economy is atypical for a vehicle this size with AWD. Ride quality and seat comfort are what make this vehicle stand out to me though. The seats are so comfortable and ride so smooth, I find myself cruising well done GM

Millage between 12 and 16 thousand miles. Nor-Cal to Mass, optional V-6. Still very happy with everything. Gas MPG was way up on whole trip. One day across Wyoming got 29.2 MPG. Most other days MPG was between 24.5 and 28.5 at 75+ MPH. No problems at all. I need to get front end "Bra" as the front of the car takes a beating with road objects flying into you causing paint divots. GM and LaBra dont offer them. Oil changes, tire rotations have been at 7500 miles each with around 24% oil life left. The car climbs highway hills with no problem, cruise manages that well including gas mileage. Cruise memory can get overloaded sometimes just reset and your ok. Great long trip car the best for 2 or 4

  • Great Vehicle - 2010 Chevrolet Equinox

I find this vehicle is very fun to drive. My passengers have commented on a very nice ride. Feels bigger than it probably is, but things like parking and space in your garage it is really no more than a reasonable footprint. Head and leg room are excellent. My dealer was very good about finding and swapping a vehicle of my color choice since the one I ordered was taking much more time to get than we anticipated. I would buy it again based on the first 3,000 miles.

  • Still Loving It! - 2010 Chevrolet Equinox

Purchased my Equinox in Nov. 2009. Im still loving this SUV! Comfortable, reliable, roomy. Plenty of "get up and go" for a 4 cylinder. Ive never owned a 4-cylinder before and was a little concerned. Not any more! Im getting about 26 mpg in the city. Since I do mainly city driving, it is 3 weeks between fill ups. On highway driving, Im getting about 28 mpg. Not the expected 32, but still great for a SUV. You wont be disappointed with this purchase. Ive never loved an automobile so much before!

Compared Honda CR-V to Chevy Equinox. Went with the Equinox based on reviews & test drive. Needed a car for long weekend trips. This one so far exceeds our expectations. Its fun to drive, comfortable, and great on gas mileage.

Drove from Massachusetts to N California. First day drove to VA and got 26.5 mpg, with optional V-6 engine. Drove total of 4300 miles across I-40 then up into Co. on into AZ, across UT, NV, and then into CA. Trip average MPG was 22.5, with a fully loaded vehicle. I love this car, and had to pinch myself often. The V-6 engine performed well. In the higher elevations the trans had to work hard and shifted often to keep higher speed up but did well. Never felt beat up after driving 500 miles a day. Driving at night on SR 50 in Nevada was a kick, the interior lights were really cool set up dim. XM radio so nice, we never played anything else. Americas Loneliest Highway, well, pretty fast.
