- Upscale look inside and out, quiet cabin, generous storage bins, roomy back seat, fuel-efficient four-cylinder, available high-tech features.
- Not quite as much cargo space as chief rivals, some controls difficult to reach, lifeless steering.

Chevy Equinox - 2010 Chevrolet Equinox
By Chad - April 26 - 10:26 amWhen gasoline hit $4 a gallon, I knew it was time to get rid of the crew cab 4X4 and downsize to something else. I got an 09 Vibe GT, too small, for wife, kid and myself. Saw a new 10 Equinox, saw the gas mileage, could not believe it, test drove the new LTZ model, I am 66" and WOW, this thing feels like it is the next size bigger in the line of Crossovers. Great comfort, took it on our first trip, Ohio-Iowa, 750 miles one way, packed to the hilt, drove 75-80mph the whole way with the air on, and....... we got 28.5 mpg. I figure if I slowed down a little, it would probably get the 32 MPG, also, the motor is not yet broke in. Nice vehicle, sharp!! I got the Mocha steel, pretty!

Great Vehicle! - 2010 Chevrolet Equinox
By Steve F. - April 14 - 6:13 amThis car is fantastic - beautiful inside and out! I purchased the 4 cyl. and it has plenty of power (I used to drive a 6 cyl. 4.3L Blazer and dont miss any loss of power). The 2010 Equinox is very quiet, shifting is smooth, and cruises at 70 mph at only 2000 RPMs due to 6 speed automatic. Im getting 28 MPG combined local and hwy. driving. I love the Bluetooth and automatic climate control the 2LT offers. You also get the fog lights on the 2LT, which look much better than the fog light covers on the LS or 1LT. I think Chevrolet is missing the boat comparing the 2010 Equinox to the Honda CRV or Toyota RAV4 - they should be comparing it to the Lexus RX330/350!

2010 Chevy Equinox - 2010 Chevrolet Equinox
By Dave - March 12 - 10:53 pmThis is a great vehicle and its about time more SUVs are passing the 30+ MPG mark. The 2010 Equinox drives very smooth and deftly handles Baltimores toughest pot holes and curves, it also accelerates quickly and seamlessly through its 6-speed transmission regardless of having a 4 cylinder engine even with econo mode engaged, and the Equinox keeps road noise where it belongs...Outside Very easy, comfortable and fun to drive. My wife is already saving more than 2 1/2 times her weekly fuel costs from when she owned a 2000 Ford Explorer Sport. This vehicle also comes standard 6 airbags, adjustable back seats, has outstanding crash and braking scores and Electronic Traction/stability controls

Love this car - 2010 Chevrolet Equinox
By zenn - March 7 - 1:13 pmIve been driving this vehicle for about a month now and am still excited to get into it every time. Its just a nice overall vehicle. I does have quite a large blind spot but the camera makes up for that. So far Im getting about 19mpg overall on my drive to work mostly state roads. Seats are firm but fit well. Plenty of available seat positioning for both me and my wife. This car is quiet and rides nice if a little firm. A lot more cargo space than the specs would leave you to think, especially with the rear seat forward.

LOVE IT, LOVE IT, LOVE IT!!! - 2010 Chevrolet Equinox
By Casey - February 11 - 8:20 amI only bought my Equinox two days ago and couldnt wait to write a review. This SUV is amazing! I researched this auto for months. I also looked at the Kia Sorento, Hundai Santa Fe, and the Ford Escape. The look of the Nox is beautiful. The inside is amazing. Beautiful details, nice lighting and I have more than enough pep to get on the road at a reasonable speed. I will be driving about 700 miles during the Christmas holidays and cant wait to see what the mileage is like. The mileage is one of the main reasons for the purchase. I have 150 miles on the SUV and still have three quarters of a tank of fuel left! This is a dream auto and Chevy did an outstanding job! Easy on the eyes

Highly recommend the 2010 Equinox! - 2010 Chevrolet Equinox
By LMieser - January 20 - 3:43 amTo start off my family is an American car family. A family member works for GM, and we drive majoritively that. My wife and I nearly bought a Saturn Vue when they introduced their new body style, but I am thrilled that we held out. We knew since mid 2009, once the 2010 Equinox was released, that it was what we wanted. We searched forever and finally in Feb 2010 we found the perfect one. We got the 4cyl 182hp FWD LT2, classed up to basically an LTZ. Black with chrome package. My wife and I are in love with this car.Im 65 and there is more room than any other car ive owned. No problems at all at 1200 miles. if you are considering to buy, you will not be disappointed.

A Car for the AGES - 2010 Chevrolet Equinox
By MyrtleTrace - January 12 - 3:10 pmHad to order the car; finally arrived after 8 weeks. The wait was worth it. The 4 cyl. has more then enough pep; no problems with merging into hi-speed traffic. Comfortable front seats; all controls are easy enough to reach; great sound system. The LTZ model has all I wanted in the basic pkg except for the Navigation system which I got. Luv it! Great ride although Ive only got 600 miles on it and have yet to take a "trip" in it.

meets my needs - 2010 Chevrolet Equinox
By Joe - December 23 - 8:10 amI was looking for a car that would make my highway driving comfortable with good gas mileage, as well as make my short commute enjoyable. It has exceeded my expectations. Furthermore, everyone who has seen this car has had nothing but good things to say about its styling and comfort. Would I buy another one...in a heartbeat!

Good Value - 2010 Chevrolet Equinox
By hamfarb - November 16 - 3:23 pmIm on a tight budget with a family of 4 and needed something that will last ten years and grow with the children. After testing 4 different new and 5 used models I felt the Equinox LS offered the best value for the $$. I would have liked to upgrade to LT, but it was too much of a stretch. That said, you get a lot of "upgrade" level features on the LS. After 2000 miles performance has been great. Mileage around 26 combined. Only two minor repairs -dealer forgot to put on antenna and a cap on the windshield wiper nut fell off. Dealer fixed both -no questions. No issues in interior.
