Never A Doubt About My Purchase! - 2010 Chevrolet Equinox
By Elisa81 - April 23 - 8:06 amI purchased my Cardinal Red 2LT 4cyl FWD NOX with sunroof, jet black leather & auto lift gate on October 2nd. The car is beautiful (LOVE the ambient lighting) and handles just as I had expected. The stack buttons were a little overwhelming initially, but now are very easy to use. I am glad I went with the 2LT instead of the 1LT as the fog lights, leather, premium stereo & auto climate control are worth the extra $ to me. The 4cyl has plenty of power on the interstate and Im loving the 27 mpg while driving around town in Kansas City. Do not overlook the Equinox because its a Chevy. Even the most skeptical will be very surprised with what they find in the new 2010 NOX!

Great suv for mileage - 2010 Chevrolet Equinox
By Ron - March 2 - 2:00 pmHighway gas mileage is 34 mpg in eco mode, Over all 26 mpg. Handling is great at all speeds. Comfort on the road is outstanding. Power of 4cyl is fine, much more power then I first thought. Seats are very comfortable, the ride is a little stiff but holds the road sound. I am very pleased and have not found any problems in the first 3000 miles. General Motor is back to #1 with this winner.

Nice ride - 2010 Chevrolet Equinox
By VargRider - December 30 - 9:10 pmIt took three months to arrive but when it finally did I was very impressed. The ride is super smooth and quiet. The handling is competent but not sporty (not expected in an SUV though) Im still not getting more than 24 mpg (mix highway and city), but Im getting slightly better mpg with every tank. The Nav and backup camera are awesome. It really makes backing in to those tight spots easy. Yes there are a bunch of buttons on the console. Is it a problem? No. At least not for your average person with reasonable intelligence. You have your Nav controls, your radio controls and your environmental controls. What is so hard about that?

By Boarpower - December 7 - 8:03 pmWe love the new 2010 design. Great features for a smaller SUV. We love all the options you get for your money. We had a 2004 CRV and had NO problems with it in 100,000 miles, but this feels like a Caddy compared to the Honda.

Chevy has a Winner - 2010 Chevrolet Equinox
By Jim - October 10 - 9:36 amWe looked at a Ford Escape as well as a few Asian brands, but this small SUV really showed up well in quality, appearance, and fuel efficiency. I feel that the 2010 model is a vast improvement over the 2009 model. I especially liked the handling, or "fun- to-drive" feeling that this SUV provides. And we had 4 adults and 2 end tables in the vehicle after a little vacation shopping and everything fit comfortably - lots of interior space. The 4 cyl engine isnt super strong, but does fine under most uses, and we are getting over 30 mpg anytime we are going over 45 miles an hour. Dont write this off just because it is a Chevy!

GM Believer - 2010 Chevrolet Equinox

I decided I was going to replace the RAV4 and began research by attending an auto show and test driving and just looking at some vehicles. The in contention were the RAV4, the CR-V and the Subaru Forrester. Well the 2010 Chevrolet Equinox came out of no where. And was so impressed, I bought the LS on the spot. Rides like a cloud, has every amenity you realistically need and more than you can believe, for a base model. I believe you really get a lot for your money. With the 4 cylinder and a mix of city and hwy driving I got 26 miles to the gallon. I never achieved this rating with my RAV4. GM hit a HR

Great vehicle - 2010 Chevrolet Equinox
By wallyuwl - September 1 - 1:20 pmI posted previously and mentioned harsh transmission behavior. GM sent a engineer to drive with us and he loaded a new tranny software program that was approved yesterday and will begin being put in new production vehicles next week, and the difference is huge. With this change there is not another small or medium sized SUV under $45k Id rather have. Gas mileage also is getting better each tank as the engine breaks in. Now about 30 mph hwy (70-75 mph with A/C on).

Suprise - 2010 Chevrolet Equinox
By Don R - August 24 - 4:23 pmAfter test driving Ford, Toyota and a few other models in the same catagory I was surprised how nice the Equinox was, I gave it a better rating than the above for the price, looks and all the features it has. I have 1000 on the vehicle and average 27mpg city and freeway. The interior is great, controls are all visable and easy to reach. I like all safety features, handling is nice and road noise is low.

By Ken Waters - July 14 - 1:23 amThis is the best GM car I have owned. Most of my driving is highway. In 2 1/2 months, according to the trip computer I am averaging overall 23.5 mpg. The car is a dream to drive, I love the XM radio, On Star navigation, information center and phone, the quality of the leather interior and overall fit & finish. If the cargo area were larger it would be perfect.

By Steve - June 20 - 9:13 pmWe bought our Equinox 12/17. So far it has exceeded all of our expectations. We filled up at half a tank and we got 32.1 miles per gallon. I have never bought a car that actually got the gas mileage advertised. These cars are hard to find but well worth the wait. I never thought I would buy another GM car so I am surprised at how well built the car is.
