Excellent for the price - 2004 Chevrolet Colorado
By Mike - February 14 - 6:25 pmI bought the truck new in 2004 and he went to the test, off road, carried load, pulling stuff. For a 4cyl this very good. I will keep it until he to the junk yard.

Good Truck - 2004 Chevrolet Colorado
By PMWoods - February 3 - 9:54 pmI bought this truck new in 2004. I have had no real issues with it. One of the seat knobs broke (my fault) and it was recalled a couple of times, but I have had no electrical problems or engine problems. Some of the people on here amaze me - I mean, what do they want? Not a single manufacturer makes a vehicle that doesnt break. People seem to think that Toyotas are better because it says Toyota on it. Well, Toyota didnt stand behind the engine in my Tundra when it went bad. This Colorado has been the best truck Ive owned.

Its been great - 2004 Chevrolet Colorado
By Bill - January 28 - 9:15 amI bought the Colorado as a demo with 8K miles. The only item I had to replace was an oxygen sensor that I replaced myself for $60. I take very good care of my vehicles and the truck still looks and runs like brand new after 100K miles.

big orange and beautifull! - 2004 Chevrolet Colorado
By reneej48 - January 10 - 10:00 amGreat truck. I traded a 2001 Mercedes convertible and I have yet to miss the Mercedes. I dont get much better than 11 mpg but I never get on the highway. I picked the orange color and everyone loves it.Love to deep bed and the tailgate design. Trans is very smooth. RPT radio is cool, wish I had bought the satellite radio.

Roll Over - 2004 Chevrolet Colorado
By Hetfield - December 30 - 4:06 amHad the truck for 4 years and never had any problems. Got good gas mileage and enough towing power to pull a fishing boat. Wrecked/totaled it this winter in icy weather, rolled once landing on its wheels - with the engine still running. Tough truck that was built well, definitely got my moneys worth and am looking to buy another.

Driving one now, so-so - 2004 Chevrolet Colorado
By docgoku - December 3 - 2:00 amIt feels like a base rental car on the interior, with very hard plastics that tap instead of thud when you give them a thump. The drving position is impossible to get right. Im 60" and if I have my upper body comfortable at the wheel then my legs are all bunched up, and if my legs are at a good stretch my arms cant reach the wheel. Its very loud, but I expected that from a truck. The auto tranny is prone to downshift even on the most mild interstate inclines. However the suspension is very good the best Ive been in for a truck.

Nice Truck - 2004 Chevrolet Colorado
By Don Darnell - December 3 - 2:00 amI find the 5 cylinder to be a wonderfull engine, but they could have spent some engineering money on the exhaust note. The seats are great, the interior it very good. No real complaints so far, and my other cars are Porsches and an Audi. My 5 year old thinks its cool, and thats what really matters.

Please watch out Z71 Crew Cab LS 4WD - 2004 Chevrolet Colorado
By workless - August 18 - 12:23 pmI bought new in 7-03, thought that since the S-10s this would be better. This is single-handedly the worst vehicle I ever owned out of 10+ GM products. The 5 cylinder had no power and even worse fuel economy. The worst is the front end, Isuzu product that is junk. Replace your front brake rotors and youll know what I mean - the design is ridiculous. The GM book rate is 6+ hours to remove a rotor. Then the flex hose to the rear brakes broke down internally and the micro rubber particles jammed up the rear brakes and the ABS system. I traded it in before I paid the approx $1700 for the replacement. I called GM with this complaint, they never called back! Premium gas only or sensors lit daily
