It is a great vehicle, good fuel economy for a full size truck, great ride, very versatile and a joy to drive.

Best crossover truck on the market for all weather use. Great power for towing, from small boats to six-place snowmobile trailers.

The avalanche has plenty of power and handles very well for a large vehicle. The only problems so far was a knocking sound that was later diagnosed as a loose cross member. The vehicle has been a real pleasure to own so far.

I bought the Z66 package and it rides great! smooth acceleration plenty of power and looks cool without the body hardware. Took it to the dealer to fix a suspension noise, they found it, fixed it, same day. Best riding vechicle I have ever owned.

Ive had Hondas, Jeeps, and truck and the Avalanche has been the best vehicle Ive owned. You have to get the Z-71 package to appreciate it.

I got it new in 2005, changed all fluids after 5 years, had new brakes because of lack of use......its my 3rd vehicle but I love it.....45,000 miles on it....... wont hold a big load....but the ride is great........... towing is ok..........but its really just a great riding all around vehicle...............only real complaint is the the brakes a very soft pedal action......I asked the dealer and they said that was they way it is.........they work good but I think soft.......this is my 3 avalanche and hope to keep it forever.....i am 70 years old.....its just a great all around vehicle.....

The Z71 Avalance is an "I cant believe its a truck truck". Ive been on black diamond off road trails testing the 4WD and power, this thing is a goat. Ive been on long freeway runs, it rides easily as smooth as the best domestic car. Ive taken it hunting, and to important business meetings. It is comfortable in both roles. Now if we could do something about the gas mileage...
