This Year's Model Updates:

A power moonroof and Myrtle wood trim are now standard on all models. Brushed aluminum column trim is available as a no-cost option. Front lumbar support has been added to the Premium Package for all 325 models; a power top is now standard on the 325Ci convertible; and new star-spoke wheels are standard on the 325Ci coupe and convertible. The 330Ci convertible gets an auto-dimming rearview mirror, lumbar support and a universal garage door opener as standard. This year, the sequential manual gearbox (SMG) is available only on 3.0-liter models, and only in combination with the Sport Package. Buyers can now order both the Performance and Premium Packages together. Lastly, a flat tire warning and white indicator lights are now standard on all models.

Pros:
  • Still the standard when it comes to perfectly sorted vehicle dynamics, high-quality interior materials exude luxury, wide range of configurations to suit any style, available all-wheel drive for sedan and wagon.
Cons:
  • Still costs more than most of its competitors, limited rear-seat space and cargo capacity, confusing array of options and packages.

  • I love my BMW - 2005 BMW 3-Series

I really enjoy driving my BMW-smooth ride. Its as beautiful inside as it is outside. The only negative Ive found is that it needs a lot of gas and the back seat is a little tight. These are sacrifices Im willing to live with. I cant wait for the summer so that I can put the top down and enjoy the long ride to the beach every weekend!

This is the best car I have ever purchased. My only regret was not doing it sooner. Words cannot do justice to the feel of this car, but it is superb. The 2.5 liter engine has enough power for me, and the interior and exterior design is timeless.

This is my second 325CiC. Just traded my 2001, 5 speed(M) for 2005 automatic. Best car I have ever owned. Only gripe is the nav system. Free service is great. Typical german build quality. 2001 had a few minor problems but nothing major; BMW covered everything, even a ripped seat seam and cracked wood at 37000 miles. Amazing! Wont be my last assuming they dont go too far out in left field with the styling of this cars replacement. I LOVE THIS CAR!!!

A smooth engine and superb handling make this an enjoyable drive in town or out on the twisties. A somewhat dated design that still attracts attention.

  • bye bye Beemer - 2005 BMW 3-Series

I have hard far too many problems. After 2000 miles an annoying buzz developed in the dash. The dealer acknowledged the problem but was under to fix, told me this is part of owning a Performance Car. Air conditioner quit working in the middle of the summer. After 8,000 miles it refused to start, leaving me stranded out of town. The firm, sport suspension grows tiring on any thing other than short trips. I expected much more from this car. I am very disappointed.

Thirty-five years of GM, Volkswagen, and Japanese in my garage, and when it came time for a new ride, figured thered be more of the same. Stumbled across a BMW dealer, stopped in for laughs. A minute in a 330i, and I stopped laughing. I had to have this car. It WANTS to go, and hang on to your hat, its quick, not just fast, even without the performance package. Exhilarating to drive, handling must be experienced to be believed. Elegant simplicity to the interior design. Handsome exterior exudes class. HK sound system is nice, but the growl of the engine is the cars real music.

  • Wind Noise - 2005 BMW 3-Series

First time BMW owner. Great drivetrain. 5 speed automatic strong. Solid steering and suspension. Very good gas mileage, getting 22 MPG in city driving. Standard sterio is very good. Not sure the Harmon Kardon is worth the extra $. Only complaint is the wind noise. Telescopic steering wheel a nice plus for those with long legs.

This is my first BMW but it wont be my last. My wife and I have had so much fun driving this automobile, I used to think that a car always needed power to have fun but the way the car handles is remarkable. I have not had the car long enough to gauge the reliability but so far so good.
