Acura - 2003 Acura TL
By Ink - May 31 - 10:00 amnice car for tall people, I could not fit in the Lexus IS, C230, and a few other cars I tested. Im 64 with long legs, and this is the car I needed. The transmission is always a little busy for some reason, and the rubber around my sunroof rotted off and they wouldnt replace it. Gas mileage is less than desireable, but I didnt buy the car for economical reasons. The extra 600 I paid for the wood wheel was worth it, so was the exterior body kit. All in all, if the car wasnt as quick as it is, it would be a total loss.

my favorite drive - 2003 Acura TL
By geekygirl - April 11 - 2:00 amI love my TL-S; just had it on a 800 mile road trip and it performed well, thumbs down on the MPG, but I didnt purchase it for MPG, either. Mine is black w/ gold trim and pinstripes, added shiny chrome whls. I enjoy driving it, also tested a new Maxima,,,didnt even rethink it....TL-S was for me!

Love my TL - 2003 Acura TL
By WLGood - March 17 - 2:00 amWhat a great car for the money! We considered the new Accord, but realized for the same money we could step up into an Acura. I will admit that the outside styling is some-what dull, but once you get behind the wheel, you forget all about that.

Acura Tl Type S - 2003 Acura TL
By Herm - November 28 - 10:00 amLeased the car in February and have just over 4000 miles. Car is fun to drive does everything well. Plenty of power, looks grow on you and is a solid all around car. Plenty of punch for the price.

Despite shortcomings, best value overall - 2003 Acura TL
By jnsacura - May 29 - 10:00 amCompared to other sedans in its class, the TL type-S falls slightly behind the best in performance and comfort, however the lower price, high reliability, favorable insurance crash test results and high resale were too practical to ignore. They even outweighed the numerous shortcomings, some of which are listed below.

A Vigor review (preceeds the TL) - 2003 Acura TL
By Scott Packard - May 17 - 2:00 amMy wife owns a 92 Acura Vigor, the predecessor of the TL. 5cyl 2.5L engine. Weve turned 180k miles last week. She had committed to buying a new car two years ago, but went back on her promise, mostly because this car is still too reliable. I do most of the repairs myself, but on most weekends I have nothing to do. Even the accessories have all held up (something which I know to break on Merkin cars). The alternator has never been rebuilt, the power steering pump finally gave out at 176k, and Ive put on the 2nd timing belt (90k change intervals). Who would think Id be on my third belt!?

2003 Acura TL - 2003 Acura TL
By cmdvorak - May 12 - 10:00 amI purchased my 03 TL July 02. Since I have only had a safety recall. It has been a great car to have due to previous cars i owned that were in the shop on a monthly basis. The value, style, and status symbol the car gives for the money is the greatest thing.
