Traded in BMW for TL-S - 2003 Acura TL
By JingleJill - January 27 - 10:00 amI traded in a 2001 BMW 330i for a 2003 Anthracite TL-S and I couldnt be happier. The two cars are totally different, so it is not really fair to compare them. However, for the money, the Acura cannot be beat. Everything is standard (except nav). The TL-S is a great car. Real leather, a great stereo, an awesome engine, and it can hold four adults in comfort. I just passed 600 miles and Ive averaged 23mpg. Not too shabby. Ill update again when I have more miles.

Souped-Up Honda! - 2003 Acura TL
By BrentSki - November 2 - 10:00 amCar is comfortable to drive, pickup is amazing with Hondas VTEC engine, and that all Hondas and Acuras have. It is an all-around great car, but it came with its minor problems.

A little disappointing - 2003 Acura TL
By Jules0622 - August 8 - 2:00 amI was very excited to purchase my first "luxury" vehicle. I did a lot of research and knew this was the car for me. Im surprised that I already have rattles with only 1500 miles. My chevy didnt get rattles until after 30,000. Maybe I got a lemon. Overall I am pleased with the vehicle however Im not sure it will last as long as I had hoped!

Almost Great - 2003 Acura TL
By Mike W. - August 8 - 2:00 amTL Type S is a great car that is very fun to drive. 260 Horsepower is just enough to teach those younger kids a lesson every now and then. The car accelerates well and handles corners with ease.

2003 TL Review - 2003 Acura TL
By TENNJED - July 17 - 2:00 amI purchased my 2003 TL because of the reliability record, good ride, good resale value. I am unhappy with this car. The car is just not exciting, an adequate Sports Sadan, but should not be referred to as a LUXURY Sport Sadan. I just cant get comfortable in this car, and my legs feel cramped (it needs telescopic steering wheel and higher padded center arm rest). The TL is not as quiet(road, engine, wind etc.) as others in class. The ventilation fan is noisy !! I am very disappointed with the sound system ( desperately needs A-pillar speakers). The TL is a safe choice, but I should have went with the 325i or G35.

new tls - 2003 Acura TL
By jugg - June 21 - 10:00 amNew TL S--used to have a BMW 540. Mine gave me probs galore--snobby service people, heart -attack repair costs, angry, went for more conventional car. Amazed at value of tl s. Phenomenal power! Pretty impressive handling. Looks great. Warning!!! The seats are weird--I removed the lumbar device from mine, now its super comfy. Every day, I feel smart owning this car, and in the stick mode, its a rocket. It aint a 540, but for 30k less, it comes surprisingly close. Ill review again at 15000 mi. So far, damn happy.
