Best First Car - 2002 Acura RSX
By redline8x1000 - May 7 - 2:00 amThis was my first car that I had bought on my own. Got it when I was 27 and now Im 34. (I just got a cpo BMW 328i with all the bells & whistles). This car had it all for the money. I was one of the first to have it. It was the TYPE S too. The handling was great for its classes. However I noticed that in the last couple years the suspension started to give a bit. The hatchback was great since the backseats could fold down and I could carry a lot of things in the back. The car had over 130,000 miles on it when I sold it to carmax. Im sure it could have lasted several more years but I didnt have a need for 2 cars. Ill miss this car for sure, but Im really enjoying my new ride! =)

The quality, the resale, and most importantly...The fun to drive nature of this car. One of the only guarantees in life!!!! Excellent all the way around!

By RSX lover - October 20 - 10:00 amMy choice was between the Jetta 1.8T and the RSX Type-S. The Jetta offered more low-end torque, but the RSX blinded me with smooth handling and beautiful interior. Just like a Lamborgini, the tach and speedometer dials point down. At night, the mesmorizing red glow of the dials appears completely uniform across the dash. Not all looks, you feel every bit of the 200hp with the I-VTEC engine.

The K20 may be the best engine Honda has ever built. It revs effortlessly to 8000 rpm & is highly tunable. The shifter is top notch & the car gives the driver great feedback. Tons of fun to drive

It looks like your boyfriends car, snuggs you in the comfy seats like your boyfriends arms, wrooooooooooms like your boyfriend, but it can be YOURS! - for less than other cars... Love the design, love the color (red), love everything. I hope Ill still love it after 100.000 miles and a few bumps. BTW, the sequetial gear box is great. I live in hilly SF and I need to force into 1rst gear up hill and down hill in my street. Works perferctly. My husband loves it too, whenever he wanna feel younger :-) He had an Integra and loves the RSX.
