Awesome Sports Coupe - 2002 Acura RSX
By Steve6 - December 15 - 10:00 amIve had my car for more than five months now, and I love it. The car rides well, gas mileage is great, and the car looks sporty. I dont understand how some people say that the RSX is an "upgraded" Civic. The car makes the Civic look like cheap piece of junk. One thing to mention is the cloth seats are suede-like and thus, are more comfortable and feel more sophisticated that most cloth.

2002 Acura RSX Type S - 2002 Acura RSX
By JohhnyW - November 20 - 8:27 amOverall Im happy with the car. My first car was an Integra, then I drove a Pathfinder and Im happy to be back in a two door coupe. That said, the Type S isnt as good on gas as Id hoped and its downright treacherous in the snow. Snow tires are needed on this car. My only other real complaint is that it doesnt reach a decent speed until you rev the heck out of it, but thats the V-Tech way. Oh ya, the V-tech chip fried a month after I bought it (I bought an 02 in 06). I love the red interior lighting, the short stick and the six speeds, although at times it seems like Im shifting way too much. Acura really just packed six speeds into 200 HP here as a gimmick, but it can be a fun one.

Fantastic Car - 2002 Acura RSX
By Jerome81 - December 28 - 6:00 pmThe seats are probably the most comfortable and most supportive Ive ever experienced. The steering and shifting is top notch. The ergonomics are superb. The engine is a gem. The old Hondas lacked low end, but the i-VTEC motor really improves all around driveability. The car screams when pushed. The handling is very good. Though I feel the tires give. If this car had better rubber on the rims the driving experience would improve drastically. All in all a great car!

Not without problems, definitely a treat - 2002 Acura RSX
By rsxland.com - October 13 - 10:00 amIve had my Tpre-S for two monthes now. It is a thrill to drive. I cant stay away from it. Thats why it betting annoying that its going in the shop for the third time in two monthes. The Acura dealership service department is great. They always give me another RSX to drive, but the Type-S makes all the difference in the world.

Great car, combines fun w/practicality - 2002 Acura RSX
By David - June 20 - 6:57 pmIve been driving my RSX since 2002, and still love it. Its been wonderfully reliable, without a single significant mechanical problem. Performance is excellent, especially the i-VTEC. Good cargo capacity, and hatchback can handle large/bulky objects better than you might expect.

Not good for freeways - 2002 Acura RSX
By Phantom Menace - April 25 - 2:00 amEven though this car has nice suspension, which shows in handling, I feel every little bump on the freeway even on the smoothest surface. The seats do not help since they are as hard as a rock. Its a fun to drive car, but the comfort level is this car is very low. Going to trade this in and get the new 2003 Accord Coupe.

gotta love I-VTEC!!! - 2002 Acura RSX
By skywalker - March 16 - 9:19 pmAlways heard about vtec but never experienced it. What a motor!!! Gives you great acceleration with good fuel economy, 31 on long trips. Theres even some room in the back seat, unlike the Integras! The only thing I wish would have carried over was the double wish-bone suspension, other than that, love the design. With only intake and exhaust I beat nicely modded DC2s (Integras) even some type-Rs. Theres a lot to choose from when it comes to aftermarket stuff, so the set ups for this car are almost endless. Just beware of the insurance, its a bit high!
