Transmission problems - 2002 Acura RSX
By tt73 - March 10 - 2:00 amBesides the 3 times Ive had to take my RSX-S into the dealer for the same transmission problem, its a great car. Niello Acura in Sacramento couldnt fix the excessive rattling that occured in 1st and 2nd gear (primarily). They just refilled the fluid. 4000 miles later... same issue. This time I took it Acura of Serramonte. They ended up replacing 1st and 2nd gear, yet 3000 miles later... same problem. Disappointed in Acuras service record so far. 10,000 miles, 2 repairs and problem appears to be getting worse... I wouldnt buy another one.

I am glad I chose this car. - 2002 Acura RSX
By Ralphbec - January 29 - 10:00 amI drive my RSX over 70 miles on a daily basis and so far I love it. The interior (front seats) is well designed for both comfort and functionality. The exterior is sporty but not over the top. I love the looks I get from people at a stop light. The car handles well and never lacks power, and all for just under 30 miles to the gallon. The red interior lighting has not gotten old and the stereo is really good. Its a great first car out of college.

Fun Car - 2002 Acura RSX
By AGAJU - January 7 - 2:00 amA great all around car with good performance for an automatic. My commute really stinks, so I wanted the auto for all the stop and go driving. Its nice to be able to shift yourself when traffic isnt bad too. My only real complaint is that the seat bottoms are too hard. Guess Im getting old. The glove box needs adjusted, its not flush with the dash. Also, the seat fabric by the headrest is comming away from the plastic that surrounds the hole.

ACURA 2000 - 2002 Acura RSX
By ridick - October 22 - 5:10 pmI have always driven an Acura. The 1990 acura was the first of its kind to appeal to a younger generation driver. The after market options were endless, thanks to the design of the vehicle. The RSX rare is high and as a result does not corner as well as the 90 gsr or the type R precdacessor. all in all the RSX is a combination of luxury and sport.

rsx-s - 2002 Acura RSX
By comanchep - November 28 - 10:00 amAt exactly 1500 miles the syncros in 3rd gear totally went out. the dealership gave me (immediately) a rsx loaner, next day aired a replacement tranny, and installed it without a scratch. I enjoyed driving the non S-Type with automatic for comparison and was back in business within 24 hours. Very satisfied. No other problems (5590Miles now) Milage with very hard driving style-28-29mpg. LOVE THE INTERIOR . Worst value is the stereo. No "highs" No "Lows" it must be "BOSE". No Volume either.

Good car for the money - 2002 Acura RSX
By Johhny Depp - August 10 - 5:06 amCompared to some of the other cars of comparable size and cost, the Acura RSX is by far the best value. I can tell you that for a 2.0L engine, this car has a lot of zip. The Acura name gives people the impression of a vehicle with class, which is one of the reasons we are on our second Acura lease (previously had a 1999 Acura CL).

The best under $25K for coupe/hatch - 2002 Acura RSX
By cheeku - May 29 - 10:00 amBeen a month since I got the car. No problems whatsoever, car is zippy enough, great mileage even without using premium. I had shopped against a VW jetta(1.8T). Too much body roll on the jetta.Ideal car for someone who is single although the back seat is not too bad for short drives. Handles very well on the twisties. If anyone is from Austin take it on 2222 and youll be sold.
