Jeff and his boss Dave have been super helpful and I must admit convincing. The offer made on a new leased Highlander was spot on and the chosen vehicle and color was coming to the dealership the same week. I find the admin side of the selling process surprisingly contrasted: a high tech desk wide touch screen to facilitate the contract process, then a bunch of 20th century carbon copy forms screeched out by a pin drive printer. Too long, and so 1.0! Fortunately Mark knows what hes doing and made it through as efficiently as possible. Thanks to the sales team.

My 10 year old Nissan Frontier was beginning to cost me serious money to keep on the road so I decided it was time to look for a new pickup truck. Since I drive a manual shift, finding a pickup with one in it these days can be a challenge to say the least, especially if you want the truck with an access cab and long bed. Im familiar with Portsmouth and the area around Toyota of Portsmouth because we vacation over the big bridge in York Beach. I decided to go online to see if Toyota of Portsmouth had the Tacoma I was looking for (nobody in my area had it). Well, they did and I was very pleased. The sales people, Jim Marshall and Frank Accetta were great! Very informative, friendly and helpful as was Mark Sullivan from Finance. On the first visit, and after some negotiating I decided that I wanted more for my 2007 Nissan Frontier so I ended up walking out. But the next morning Jim Barrett the General Manager called me back and offered me a much better deal on my trade. I really appreciated that he did and it all worked out great. My new shiny Tacoma was ready for delivery and Im very happy with it. Id recommend Toyota of Portsmouth and these professionals to anyone looking to buy a vehicle.

This 2017 Prius Prime is my third Prius from this dealer. I had done some research on the features I wanted in a replacement for my 2012 Prius. I found the purchase process very easy and the staff were professional and easy to work with. I have had several years of experience with this dealership and the service dept. is excellent. There are other dealers closer to my home but I feel confident in the service and the facilities are well laid out. My sales contacts were Dan Sharp and Jeff Colangelo. I told them what I wanted and even though the Prime is not easily available in NH they were able to find the car, features, and color in a remarkably short time. I was able to take my car home in less than a week from my first visit. Through the process I was able to maintain contact with Jeff by phone and on-line. The after sale treatment has been friendly and considerate.

"Our First Lease"

We do not purchase cars very often. Many of you on the North Shore have seen our 2011 Voodoo Blue Scion xB with the paint splats and our Artists Playground logo! Well, after 5 years the graphics were beginning to peel and it was time for a new car. We (in our seventies) decided to lease for the first time. We went to Portsmouth Toyota because they have been servicing our xB for five years in an exemplary way. We were fortunate to get Jim Belmer as our salesperson. We couldnt have asked for anyone as knowledgeable, understanding and patient, both with explaining all about the Rav4 Hybrid that we eventually leased, and about the lease process itself, which we were total newbies at! When we finally drove the car off the lot, I kinda felt like I just had a delicious meal, (you know, that satisfied feeling), and didnt even have to leave a tip! I almost did not purchase my Toyota in Portsmouth - my first visit was not a good one, salesman. Then there came a followup call from Amanda / Michelle- understanding and not pushy. We made plans to talk after June 1st. We talked - Michelle was very knowledgeable regarding the product and helped me build my truck. One of my must haves was a sunroof. She set up an appointment with a different salesperson, Lloyd. Rosenberg was the best. He was so positive, professional and down to earth. He knew what I was looking for and was able to get it done. I had been told by a prior sales person that certain things could not be done-the sunroof on an access cab model- Lloyd made them happen. Lloyd also took the time to explain every detail and got me a good trade-in amount allowing me to stay within my budget and still get what I wanted. I know it wasnt easy to find my Tacoma but he and Dan did just that. Lloyd introduced me to the gentlemen in the service department. I need to purchase and have racks installed. They explained to me that they do not have the racks I want. Instead of trying to sell me the racks they install, they directed me to two places that they would use themselves..Through the entire experience, Lloyd kept me informed as to the status.. My sunroof was installed - and the day came for me to pick it up. The Tacoma shined from bumper to bumper. Lloyd spent extra time to showed me all the features, set up my phone on bluetooth and explained the two year maintenance free package. Lloyd also walked me through the service area so I know how it all works. Signing the papers was also handled very well - smooth and simple. Mark did not try to talk me into anything but explained all my options. Overall a Great experience.. made that way by Lloyd and Michelle...

I bought my first Camry in 2010 and loved it so much that I wanted another when I went to upgrade. I didnt trade in my old one, I gave it to my sister who needed a vehicle badly. I put her in a vehicle that I new was sound and dependable. I then picked the XLE Camry as my new vehicle and have been blown away by the changes from my old one to my new one. If youve ever had a car you love so much that when it came time to let it go that you actually took time to say goodbye to the car you can understand how much I liked my 2010 vehicle, but I can honestly say that my 2016 has totally eased my departing pains. Its only been a week since I drove off the lot with it, but I am very impressed with everything it offers. I will also add that the staff took care of my every need, from my online searches and contacts, to making an appointment in the very early morning before the staff usually shows up, they knew I was serious about putting myself into a new vehicle and didnt waste my time with the usual back and forth haggling that can sometimes slow things down. My whole deal was done quickly (about an hour) and that included the paperwork. I picked it up a couple days later and took it home. After finding the vehicle I had been researching for a week or two, it suddenly popped up on Toyota Portsmouths website with very low miles. I almost pulled the trigger on the exact same model new, Im pleased I didnt! These ladies and gentleman were down to earth, pleasant, and fair to deal with. The customer service was excellent and the staff was fair with my trade, they helped me get to my monthly bottom line the best they could, and kept the deal very fair for both parties. Financing and the buying process was friendly and fairly smooth, received a touch of pressure for add-ons such as GAP insurance and Bumper To Bumper Warranty, but I feel it was good natured. Lastly, they simply need to tie up some loose ends to get our deal completed and my final receipt/deal in the mail, so to get the car registered as soon as possible. The vehicle itself is in the exact great condition claimed, and I couldnt be happier with it so far. Overall a good, smooth experience, and I will be back to look at a used car for my fiance and recommend Toyota Portsmouth to my friends. We were in need of a pre-owned Camry. I contacted Lloyd Rosenberg at Toyota of Portsmouth telling him in general what we were looking for. In a matter of hours he called back and said he had a low mileage trade in he wanted us to look at. Mr. Rosenberg took the time at his desk to ask us what specific features we were looking for and answered all of our questions. My wife and I never felt any pressure. Upon seeing the car and taking it for a test drive, the car exceeded our expectations. It was immaculate, and certified with very low mileage. It was even in our price range. Mr. Rosenberg walked us through the sales process and after the sale was completed took the time to go through the car with us explaining how everything worked and answered all of our questions. Everyone we met at the dealership took pride in their work.

"Not A Good Experience"

Brought my Tundra in for the first 5000 mile service. Arrived at 7am sharp. Got out at 9:40am. The work was a simple tire rotation, replace a tire pressure sensor, and top off the fluids. REALLY !!! over 2.5 hours. After getting part way home, I saw the service ticket/invoice was made out to the wrong owner, right truck wrong owner. The final straw that caused me to decide never to go back there again was the next morning when I went to use the windshield wash, it was empty! Would not recommend them. I contacted Toyota directly, the Toyota Customer Service said to go back and talk with them. So -1 stars for Toyota Corporate Customer Service. Makes me reconsider my choices in vehicles, as I have been a Toyota person for many years.

"Techs Are No Good "

do not get your car serviced here ive had to many problems dealing with them and the work is not done correctly. they say certified techs well i dont think so anyone with common sense would not do what they did to my car i had all 4 tire valves on my 4 runner leaking air b/c they were loosend. now this does not just happen someone with a tool had to loosen them purposely i guess to get me to come back i dont really know but i do not trust them. im writing this review b/c i do not want you to spend your hard earned money on bad workman ship. it looks nice from the outside but the work is just not done right.
