"Excellent Experience A+++++ Out-of-state Purchase"
I was in California visiting a friend and in the market for a 2014 BMW M5. (Please note that I live in Tulsa, OK. which is 1260 miles away from Costa Mesa, CA.) I had searched all over the U.S.; looking for the highest quality used vehicle at fair price. I had looked at California Beemers website several times and they had the exact model, color, mileage and condition I was looking for. My initial call was answered by Mark, a Product Specialist. He was very professional and had a thorough knowledge about the M5. He followed up very promptly throughout the buying and delivery process. I am a business owner and always like to deal with the Sales Manager or the General Manager. Mark promptly let me talk to Mr. Glenn, the dealership General Manager. Mr. Glenn answered all my questions regarding the M5 that I was interested in. He was one of the most professional and honest General Managers I ever dealt with. The ONLY EQUAL treatment I have ever received from a dealership G.M., is one that my lifelong best friend owns in Ohio. Tom and his brothers own seven (7) domestic model new vehicle dealerships in the Columbus area. YES...Their last name is on the dealerships buildings. (Coughlin Automotive Group) AND, I did say EQUAL. Mr. Glenn had me in his office, was very patient and explained every question I had about the vehicle, purchase and delivery. After a brief test drive, I asked to come the next day and take the car to a local BMW (New Car) dealership down the street from CA Beemers. (CAB) as I named it. CAB actually took the M5 to the (New Car) BMW dealership early Saturday as a convenience to me and the dealership called me once they finished their evaluation. Upon arrival, Mark met me there and I wanted more testing done. He said "No Problem" call me when you are finished. Im a car guy...So I had the paint thickness checked on every panel of the car to verify it had not received any paint work since new delivery. Perfect...All original paint. I paid extra to have the service manager drive the car with me. It checked out Perfect! Exactly as represented. I went back to the CAB, and thoroughly inspected the M5 and I found a few minor items. Mr. Glenn asked me exactly what I found and he would have ALL the items corrected prior to shipment. He went above and beyond and make an already great M5 like brand new again. Not one rock chip, door ding or anything. All previous dealerships would tell me...Sir this is a used car...If you want a perfect one, buy a brand new one. Not Mr. Glenn...His comment to me was "If all customers were as discriminating as you are, it would force my competitors to raise their level of quality of vehicles they sell and raise the standard in the market". The exacting attitude I expect in my business! The delivery...Mr. Glenn arranged for a carrier that made sure my vehicle was loaded on the top middle, for vehicle protection. (I gladly paid $200.00 extra for this) The driver actually texted me pics on his route stops as he was travelling from CA. to Oklahoma. Wow...What service! Mr. Glenn sincerely cares about customer service. He actually called me directly on three (3) different occasions... On HIS DAYS OFF, to make sure I was totally happy with all aspects regarding the M5 I purchased...WOW...Thats never happened to me in my lifetime!! And Im 55 yrs. old!!! Finally, I cant say enough good about the people I dealt with at CAB. Why this dealership doesnt have ALL FIVE STAR RATINGS...Is beyond me??
""no Haggle""
Im out of state and was looking for a low mileage 5 series. After finding the car via cars.com, I had the unfortunate experience of it being located at this dealer. I can live with the no haggle concept on the car itself, frankly the price wasnt bad at all considering. However they may their money in shipping and any sort of extended warranty you may wish to inquire about. No haggle in that as well. Further the "co-owners" attitude is poor, really poor. Its a shame, Id like to have the car, but not if I have to deal with this place. Too many other BMWs out there.
"Great Experience"
I went in test drove a 535i Gran Turismo the salesman name was John D although we couldnt reach an agreement with price John still showed me all features on the vehicle, explained and showed me how they functioned overall the experience was great.
"Buyers Be Ware: Not Trustworthy"
BUYERS BE WARE: Not trustworthy, one of the reviewers admits to being an employee. No wonder they have good ratings just goes to show the level of untrust with this company. BAIT AND SWITCH slicksters practicing old tricks.
"2015 Bmw 335 I Purchased In August 2016"
I have been on the fence about buying a car for the last three years, and have not made the plunge mostly due to my current car being in great working order. I ran across a great deal on California Beemers website and started communicating with the sales department via text while I was at work. The dealership worked with me on the price and said if I came in that day, as it was the last day of the month, they would make it worth my while. Buying a car is a big decision, so I had my best friend and my parents meet me there after work and we all took a close look at the car and drove it around a bit. I have to say, it looks and feels almost flawless, and its fully loaded with M Sport Suspension, navigation, back up camera, moon roof, upgraded sound system, ect..The buying process was easy and what I really like most about this dealership is the man who closed the deal. His name is Tim. I am a RN and have a great ability to see people for who they really are, Tim is a good man and to be honest, he is the reason I agreed to purchase this car. It helps the price was 5K below bluebook, but if I didnt get a great impression from Tim that evening, I promise you, I would have walked quicker than you can say lickiesplit. I would recommend this dealership to my friends & family. I actually plan on buying my next BMW from their dealership in a few years, when this model gets closer to the 50K mark. Chad M.
"Best Customer Service Ever!!!!!!!!!!"
I was recently in California for a vacation and I decided to drive the 2 hour trip to look at a 650i that was listed for sale online. When I got to the dealership the car, unfortunately, had been taken in for maintenance. I was disappointed but Frank and the entire team at California Beemers were SO helpful, apologetic and accommodating, they even filled up my gas tank for my drive back! The next day Ash called to follow up with me and to apologize again for the car not being available for me to see. What a GREAT experience and what GREAT GUYS!!!!
"Outstanding Vehicles And Service"
Purchased a 2011 Z4 after a long search. I traveled from La Quinta to see the vehicle because they featured low milage one-owner vehicles. Was greeted by enthusiastic staff who ARE NOT typical car sales people. The staff are BMW enthusiasts who know BMWs very well. The Z4 was all that they advertised, pristine, in prime mechanical condition and complete with a new set of tires. The price was fair and there was no pushy monologue to get me to purchase the vehicle. And Jacques, the General Manager, is an experience one needs to have. Would recommend this dealer to family and friends.
"Excellent Experience"
Overall, this was the best used car buying experience Ive had in 30 years and I only buy used cars that are about 3 yrs old- after biggest drop in depreciation. Bought a 2011 Z-4 3.5 w/ 22k miles that was beautifully detailed. (Most of their cars are about 2-4 years old and in very good condition). I waited 3 months to post this to make sure there were no problems- and there werent. Although just got plates this week. Prices were much better than in Sacramento and bay area- was in OC visiting friends and got a great price so cancelled flight back and drove the miserable I-5 home. (worth it) Garrett in sales was very knowledgeable and professional and not pushy at all- just helpful. Frank in finance was easy to work with and the paperwork went very fast. I own my own customer service business and appreciated how well I was treated. If this is their usual modus operandi then I wish their business success.
"Great Relaxed Atmosphere"
QUICK TIPS: -Relaxed atmosphere -Non pushy salesmen (felt like they were on my side, not the dealers) -Good place for low cost used BMWs from trusted sources that come with high end packages -Trustworthy car detailers -Selection might be small for some people (I think they handpick the better bang-for-your-buck cars is why?). Consider calling ahead to ask them to get a specific model/color for you. I believe they trade on the internet and can work with you to get what you need. My wife and I have been considering a luxury/sports car within the near future. We are shopping around and seeing what is out there and how much we need to save up. Buying brand new is out of our budget and lets face it, who wants to waste tens of thousands extra just to get the "brand new" feel that will depreciate quickly over the next two years? We checked out CA beemers to get a feel for the business, cost vs. other dealers, and selection. Right off the bat, the floormen were very friendly WITHOUT being pushy salesmen. One thing I cannot stand is sleezy salesmen that do their best to sugar coat everything and shove you into a car as fast as you can. Not here. Jacques greeted me and offered me drinks/snacks as he guided me into the store to a salesmen to answer my questions. Garrett then came up to me and listened to my many questions. I dont know a ton about luxury cars, but I am here to learn the differences between BMW, Lexus, etc. before I decide. Im a very picky inquisitor, and Garrett was very patient, detailed, and above all else NOT pushy. I felt very comfortable chatting with him and he was incredibly upfront about all the cars. I LOVED that he was pointing out the pros/cons of each car model and what the cars come with. I ended up test driving a 2013 5-series manual transmission and I felt like I could not stall that clutch even if I tried. Overall, they gave me very detailed explanations and comparisons to satisfy my mind. It was a laid back experience where I was in control of the situation, and I did not feel like the salesmen was trying to control me and my experience. The main thing I learned about this place over other used car dealers is that this place is especially good if you want: -BMWs from trusted sources (they only buy used leased BMWs from BMW dealers) -High end packages (almost all the cars were M package cars with the works) -Savings by buying cars 1-2 years old (major early depreciation is out of the way) I googled some quick comparisons of CA beemers prices vs. other nearby dealers and used cars sales, and CA beemers prices did seem to be on par or cheaper. Probably because they dont seem to haggle the prices and just give you the low margin price? I cant comment on the finances much since it is hard to do an apples to apples comparison with other used cars, but overall the prices seemed good. While chatting with them about BMWs and test driving, I got my car detailed as well. The full detail was worth it since my car was in need of deep cleaning from the past snowboarding season. Fantastic job and attention to detail. I have tinted windows and always feel nervous handing off my car to get detailed because you are not supposed to use regular windex on tinted windows!! I spoke to the car detailer guy about my concern with windex, and before I finished my sentence explaining it, he pulled out this pink window cleaner and said it was specifically for tinted windows and that I dont need to worry. It is not often I feel comfortable handing my keys over for a detail, but he did a top notch job. When Im closer to buying Ill be putting CA beemers at the top of my list to revisit because the experience was overall very comfortable and relaxed.
"Good Looking 350z"
While I did not buy from this dealer I felt the person I spoke to as honest and the 350Z they had for sale was a great looking vehicle at a decent price.
"Very Attentive"
I went in to this dealership to test drive a car I was interested in. I sent an email the night prior and the next day I received a phone call. The gentleman helping me made it a very pleasant experience. I didnt purchase a car from this dealer because I completely changed my mind of the type of vehicle, but I would definitely recommend this dealer to someone who is in the market for a used BMW.
"Awesome!!!"
I went in early in the week to check out a 2007 Z4 Coupe that my hubby suggested I take a look at knowing that I have had my heart set on owning one for quite awhile now. After taking a test drive with Tyler I fell in love, with my Z4, not Tyler, although he was cute! Jacques was very patient with me explaining what needed to be done to be able to get the deal done, considering I was trying to trade in another BMW that had close to 200K miles on it. And I have to give Frank a very big thank you for working out a deal on the loan. The payment was a bit higher than expected but we got a great interest rate knowing we had some dings on our credit from the recession. Although stressful, at no fault to them, the team was very pleasant to work with and extremely patient with me through the whole process. I would definitely come here next time.
"Above Average Experience"
I am very happy with my purchase, I decided to buy a 2011 335i from this dealer and couldnt be any happier. My car was in great condition, service was very friendly, pricing was competitive. MY appreciation goes our to Shane, Jacques and Frank. I recommend this dealer to anybody who is considering in purchasing a BMW.
"Bait And Switch Pt 2"
I wanted to circle back and share the rest of my experience with CA Beemers. I was called by the president of the company Monday morning apologizing for the bad experience the previous Friday. He explained their service relationship at both Crevier and Sterling BMW and if I wanted to have it checked at Crevier(theirs was performed at Sterling) that would be fine. In addition, he summarized their month end sales incentives and how the upgrade had been miscommunicated and agreed to include in deal. He also threw in a couple of perks in good faith. He was very apologetic and wanted to make sure I was completely satisfied. Frank the sales manager and Tyler(the original salesman) both followed up with class. Thanks for turning this into a great experience!
"Great Service, Very Smooth Transaction"
I am very happy with the way I was treated here, no complaints, I purchased a used 535, car was still under factory warranty, financing was taking care of on the spot. Left a satisfied customer, next time I am looking to purchase a vehicle this is the first place I will stop by. Thank you Frank, Shane, and Jacques.
"One Of My Better Car Buying Experiences"
I have been looking for a 2001 BMW 335is convertible online for months. I found plenty but this vehicle had a reasonable price. Overall I was very pleased with the service and plan to send all my friends here. Ask for Shane, he is truly a great guy!
"Inoculating Dealership"
I recently purchased a 2011 550i BMW, I flew down from San Francisco (they paid for my plane ticket and provided a ride from the airport). The vehicle was very clean and I got a great interest rate. The overall experience was fun and soothing.
"Great Service"
Great service. Awesome help. Super reliable guys. I have never been so pleased with a dealer before.
"Fooling People Around"
BMW is best car in the world, but just dont go CA Beemer to buy, price is higher than the market a lot, that is not worth it. They just fooling people around because some dont really know the car s value and the market, they paying extra money. If you dont want waste you money, go to other dealer is better than CA Beemer. Trust me, go to the Internet then you will found cars more cheaper and better than CA Beemer.
"Dont Trust A Word..."
CA Beemers has good cars, but they are worse than vacuum cleaner salesmen. Do your homework and come prepared. Unless you are paying cash find your own financing because they only use Experian which is the lowest credit score of the 3 Credit Bureaus. Also, be specific in asking what if any work theyve done to the vehicle youre interested in and ask if you can take the car to have an unbiased mechanic or shop look the car over. Again, nice selection of cars BUT dont trust a word they say and make sure you run a carfax because it will be money worth spending.
"Used Bmw Orange County"
I went to California Beemers for my Used BMW in Orange County. I was given phenomenal treatment and they got me approved with a repo on my record... Great Service...
