I went into Heritage Subaru Catonsville just to ask a few technical questions about the Outback. I was prepared to walk out if I got a hard sell or was made to feel uncomfortable or pressured, but Anthony Arnoux was so polite and easy to talk to that I ended up buying a 2017 Subaru Outback from him the next day. Thats right - I left that afternoon with all the information I wanted, went home to talk it over with my husband, and came back the next day ready to make a deal. It was a long process, primarily because I had a laundry list of wants as well as a firm payment number in my head, but Anthony and his management team (especially Justin Cleaver) were so patient and so welcoming that I never felt pressured or guilted into making a decision. I truly felt like they were interested in what was going to be the best car, and best financing deal, for me and my family. I even went right home and recommended their dealership (and Subarus in general) to my parents, who were in the market for a used car. We went there to buy a car and the price for land rover evoque was listed for 23000$ and they said it was not inspected so the new price is 26,500. I have been so many dealership and owned 8 cars in last 9 years. In any sales business especially cars, they is always room for bargain or at least a deal. And they had nothing to offer. Of course I offered less for car had some scratches and alignment wasnt right and it was two door SUV. So we offered little less and they said no have a good day . And do come back if we changed mind. So manager named Armando called saying he was feeling disrespectful when we offered 22,300 out the door price. I guess in sales , every salesperson should know "customer is always right". Over all it was not a delightful experience just in terms of pricing. And yes as a salesperson , you need to have that sense of urgency to sell it. I believe Car dealership will make money if you make any client happy and they will bring you more client. Sales technique wasnt right . We drove and hour to get there .

Purchased Mazda CX 5 2017 at Heritage Mazda Catonsville less then a month a go, happy with a car but not happy with a dealership. I was promised in writing at the time of the deal few additional accessories to be ordered and installed few days after purchase. My sales person went on vacation for a week the day after I purchased the car, and no one from the dealership called me to let me know if or when the parts would come in. When I called to check on the parts and spoke with several general managers Tom, Lola, Shawn they had no clue and said the would get back to me….they never did. I even stopped at the Heritage Mazda Catonsville one day and spoke with General Manager Tom about the part order but he had no clue about accessory order, I don’t think he was even listening to me. Had to wait for sales person to come back from vacation (week later) to get the accessories ordered and another week to have them installed on vehicle. A few days after purchase I have also noticed that the paint on the hood of my new car (I have not even opened hood of my new car) is chipped on edge near wiper blades right in the middle of the hood, and someone tried to cover it with a touch up paint. Took it back for dealership to inspect it, they did and admitted that is the dealership fault tried to clean it and remove touch up paint. The service department is HORRIBLE, when the service advisor was trying to inspect the damage he leaned over the car to see where is the car hood paint was chipped at the same time bunch of the keys was hanging out of his pocket is scratching side of the car, then general manager Tom took dry paper towel and started rubbing it on the paint witch made even more scratches. My car is less then a month old and paint has a lot of scratches and the chip on the hood and all off the scratches done by dealer. Then after this HORRIBLE experience they tell me that they can repaint the car and fix the damage…..really paint the car? Did I mention that the car is less then a month old and has less the 1000 miles on it? Another display of HORRIBLE customer service! NEVER EVER EVER go to Heritage Mazda Catonsville.

The dealer Matt Wood was very helpful, was able to reduce the price significantly, essentially matching the lowest quote I could find for a similar vehicle in a 75 mile radius. He also helped with the test drive and provided good explanations to all questions. Waiting for finance department took a long time because of an unexpectedly large number of customers, but the facility was comfortable with large television screen, so it wasnt too bad.

He answered all the questions, did not try and make us wait for an unreasonable amount of time to wear us down, and significantly beat other dealers on the value of our trade-in. When the color of vehicle was not on the lot, they had one driven up from Silver Springs and we got it on the same day.

We just purchased a 2017 Outback a little over a week ago and had a great experience with our salesman Kevin James. He was very knowledgeable about the car and the brand. He answered all our questions and we didnt feel pressured to buy anything. We visited several car dealers before settling with Heritage Suburu in Catonsville and it was by far the most pleasant experience we had. The only thing we were not too happy with was the color. We requested the wilderness green and they told us to come back for it the next day but we arrived the following day it was the Lapis blue that they were able to get. Fortunately the blue was our second choice so it turned out ok. Although my wife would have preferred the green, since driving the car we have both been very satisfied with its performance over the last few days. We would definitely refer our friends and family to Kevin at the Catonsville location. He was great!

Had a simply great experience with May Farris buying a new 2017 WRX. She even did something that, up to this point I had come to believe didnt happen any longer: She called me back when she said she would--like the actual day and time. She also answered all of my questions (and I had a lot of them). Now, you might think that doing those two things should be "standard operating equipment" for folks in automotive sales...but if youve been out to buy a car recently you know that isnt always the case. Also, the rest of the sales staff--manager and up the food chain--went out of their way to be super helpful. Not only was May great, but the rest of her team was as well; it felt like there was a whole team of people working to find the exact perfect new car for me. And, in the end....they did. Ask for May when you go, you wont be disappointed.
