They are courteous, engaging, and aside from being passionate about Volkswagen, they always fully explain my options and ensure I understand what is necessary and what can wait. They have earned my lifelong trust and relationship because they keep me updated throughout the process, and treat me like a friend. Over the years I have used this service department and because of Mike and his team always go above and beyond for me, and I will continue to use them and recommend them to anyone looking for a respectable, reliable and quality service department. Dropped off my car -- and all that was needed was done in a few hours, so that I could get to work. Easy to set up an appt. and I appreciated an estimate of the work to be done. Nice Customer Service person -- helpful in setting up appt.

I needed recall work done and figured since I was in for that I would get a thorough checkup and 70,000 mile service done as well. Miranda at the front was great to work with. I got to speak with the technician who was working on my 2009 EOS and he gave me an excellent explanation of what was going to be done, and what will need to be done in the future. Miranda then wrote up quotes for all of the work. I will have them do that work during the next couple months since I now know how much $$ to budget. The car was clean and runs better now than it has in a while. I also mentioned that I would love to get a newer EOS and immediately spoke with a used car salesman who was really nice and took down my information. I will definitely consider buying through them if they can find me the car!

It is refreshing to have a Service Team that understands it customers and works to provide benefit. Recently, my 2013 Beetle exhibited shifting issues. The trouble was diagnosed to the clutch and throw-out bearing in premature failure. (Fifty years of driving manual transmissions and this is the first clutch/throw-out bearing failure.) Although out of VW warranty, Mitchell Service Team negotiated the lions share of costs back to the manufacturer. Our invoice for new parts, replaced as a precaution, was one tenth of the original accurate estimate. We are very happy with this outcome. They get my business because they have integrity and compassion for their customers. Go there, buy a car from them, and have your service work performed by their excellent staff.
"Headlight Out--becomes Major Expense"
My GTI driver side headlight went out. Needed the bulb replaced. Took it to Mitchell for service. Turns out the wiring inside the headlight were burned out. The headlight assembly was pricy but certainly not unexpected since its a Volkswagen. Regardless of expense, the service department was excellent. I have used Mitchell several times in the past and will continue to visit them for scheduled service.

I am a VERY happy customer of Mitchell VW in Canton CT. I needed my 2015 Jetta looked at for an engine warning light. I called and told Michael Labrie the Service Manager that I had to drive down to NYC to pick my daughter up in the afternoon. Mike fit me in early and got me out and on the road in two hours with a full diagnosis and plan for repair. We scheduled a gas line replacement for next week. My husband and I were looking for a new family vehicle. Edward Provencal was our sales associate. he was very helpful in helping us find a 2009 VW Routan SEL. This is a major step up from our former family car. There are 2 separate dvd players so my older children can watch different movies that they like on longer family trips, no more yelling coming from the back seat, no more head aches. I would definitely recommend this dealership to friends and family. I would also recommend that they ask for Edward, he may be one of the newer sales associates but he was able to answer our questions and help us find the right vehicle. Quick in and out. Able to get an appointment within 24 hours for what could have been a major problem. Turned out to be a bad balance job on my snow tires by the local Goodyear tire store. Also, the steel Tire Rack rims are a little out of round (Thank you China), (Wont use Goodyear again!) All done within the hour. and only $20.00.

I moved here from NYC and have been using Mitchell VW to service my Touareg. The service team led by Bob is terrific, and they go above and beyond. They even arranged a tow truck and a ride to the airport when I got an early-morning flat on the way to a business trip this week. Best of all, it turns out that the tires I bought there in June had a 12-month road hazard guarantee, so I paid nothing for the new $300 tire! I am now out of my new car warranty period but will continue to use Mitchell VW because they provide such great service -- they know my name and my car, and I feel as though they are looking out for me. (Example: When I bought the four new tires in June, I asked if I had to change the brake pads, too, and they told me I had 25% useful life left and could defer that expense for a while instead of upselling me early.) Good people, good ethics, etc. -- exactly the type of business that you want to be dealing with.

Mitchell Volkswagen’s splendid Service Department truly is the standard by which all other New Car Agency’s Service departments should be measured against. I had a problem and came in unannounced. The Service Manager dropped what he was doing and immediately came out to look at the problem I had an issue with. The Service Manger looked at the problem, diagnosed it and advised me accordingly….all done in just a few minutes. As always Rob Hart, recognized the problem, and what to do to fix it. I have been coming to Mitchell Volkswagen for almost 10 years now and the service has never changed, except that it has gotten better. I never have anything to complain about, except prices which I now realize are a reflection of what today’s costs are. Given the costs of parts and labor, both of which there is little-to-nothing-much that can been done about, I am a more than satisfied customer. I know that the superb service provide by Mitchell Volkswagen is a reflection of its outstanding Service Manager, Rob Hart specifically, and the entire culture within the organization.. He has ALWAYS gone over-and-above what the “norm†is elsewhere. Would-that Volkswagen ever decide to once again offer a car that meets my requirements, I will, if not be the first in line, surely be close to the front of the line. PLEASE VW, offer a Passat station wagon with AWD. Until such time as that happens, if ever, I will continue to drive my 2004 Passat 4WD wagon, and service it as necessary. "Misfire Problem..."
Among other things, my car was in for a misfire problem and oil change. They corrected the misfire problem with a fuel additive. I was recommended to drive the car in SPORT mode for the remainder of my full tank of gas. I proceeded to do so and watched the engine temperature spike the whole ride home. As I pulled into my driver, an engine temp warning started beeping at me telling me to check my coolant level. They should have at least warned me that this could happen. I made it home by keeping the AC off.

The service lady was very professional.Job was told when I made appointment that it should take four hours.I spent just under 7 hours waiting.They did offer a loner car about 4 hours into the repairs but I choose to wait.Apprantly the tech.ran into some difficulties with the under carriage alterations.
