Brought my car in for a timing job and differential work, they completed the timing on a thursday and told me to return the car monday to finish the diff work. Was told it would be done by Wednesday. I call on Wednesday to find out that it has not been started because the service writer responsible for my order had moved to a different facility, but my car would be "of top priority for today and tomorrow". So when I call them on Friday for the total, my car had still not been touched. 5 days of my car sitting in their lot. I am now spending hours cleaning the tree sap off my car from them parking it under a tree. I unfortunately have already paid for the parts to do this job, So I am left with no choice but to wait for a call of availability. If I ever get it.

"New Car Shouldnt Have Things Wrong!"
I went in about a month ago to look for my very first new car. I picked a 2015 mitsibishi mirage. They let me test drive a white mirage over the week end because the black one that I wanted had just got to the dealership. Then told me they would have the car inspected and ready for me on Monday. When I went in on monday then informed me that they sold the car that I wanted and I would have to just get the white one or wait for them to get another black one, so i decided to wait. When I finally got my car and brought it home, I noticed 3 dents in it. Two on the driver door and one on the door frame. I called them and they told me to bring it in in 3 weeksto get it fixed, which is way to long in my eyes. Well, they finally fixed the dents, and now I have a huge deep scratch on my driver door. Ive talked to 3 different "managers" and no one will return my calls or anything. Never going back to them.

I stopped by this dealership a month or so ago just to check out the Sportwagen. I was a bit hesitant at first given the size of the dealership. I was introduced to Jeff Deacon. I told him I was only out checking out various models and brands, and was not buying a car that day. Despite this. Jeff was more than happy to show and take me for a drive in a Sportwagen. There was absolutely zero pressure. I happened to notice the GTI while I was there, and thought about the GTI over the next few weeks. Over this time, Jeff did not pester me one bit. I emailed Jeff to schedule a test drive of the GTI, as I had limited time windows secondary to having my 2 year old daughter. Jeff answered all of my questions, once again, zero pressure, and even helped me check to see if my bike would fit inside the GTI. Even at the point of checking the bike, Jeff did not pressure me one bit. He even suggested I check my toddlers car seat fit, behind my (the drivers) seat. When it came to negotiating my trade, and the price of the GTI, it was a simple process, again, without heavy handed tactics. Throughout the process, Jeff was always available to answer any questions by phone or email. He always worked with my schedule (and around my toddlers schedule) Upon delivery of the GTI, Jeff took his time to show me all of the features of the car I will highly recommend Jeff to all of my friends that may be interested in a GTI. "Service Department Took My Car For A Joyride"
I brought my 2015 GTI in for its first oil change and check up. My mileage read 9,533 and their paperwork confirmed this. I came to pick up my car and drove 3 miles home. When I arrived home I noticed my odometer was at 9,560. So during my cars “oil change†24 miles showed up on my car. I checked the ‘Since Start’ driving data on my dash and it read 21 minutes, 22 miles and AVERAGE SPEED 62 mph. Someone from the service department took my car for a RECKLESS JOYRIDE! I called the service manager who claimed there was no record of my car being road tested, and had no explanation for the additional miles. He then politely offered to top off my gas tank and take my car to the local car wash. I will NEVER bring my car back here.

I just bought a brand new 2015 VW GTI this past weekend for my first brand new car ever from Derron Johnson at DAmbrosio VW and had an excellent experience. I did a lot of research and shopping around for the last couple of months and dealt with a bunch of different dealers, and they by far provided the best service possible. I dealt with a number of people at DAmbrosio over that time frame and right up until I bought and never did they pressure me, but they always responded to my inquiries immediately and gave me a great price up front without any hassle. It was the only dealer I spoke to out of five that took the time to really talk to me before I even stepped foot in the door and never once did they give me the typical "come on in and well discuss it" answer to my questions. Jake and Brittany in the internet department were incredible and extremely helpful in finding the exact car that I wanted, and its thanks to them that I even considered driving an hour out of my way to their dealership when the local guys were not very helpful. When I came in Derron was very friendly and made the whole process very smooth and easy. The VW sales manager Joe was unbelievable and it really felt like he did everything in his power to earn my business and getting me the best value for my trade and the lowest price on the car. I bought the car a few days ago (which I love), and Ive already referred a friend because of how good my experience was. When Im looking for a new car in a few years I already know the first place Im going to call.

Horrible experience! Unless you bought your car there..... I recently moved and am looking for a new place to service my 13 Jeep Wrangler that was involved in a minor fender bender. Insurance was requesting that I get a new bumper and a diagnosis on a vibration to the drive-train. They straight up refused me!!! Telling me that it was orders from the "top" that they did not want business like that and to take it back to where I bought the car!!! UNREAL!!!! I I will never buy any cars there and will now go out of my way to tell people what a horrible experience I had. Regardless if you bought your car there or not.... this is not how you do business! Very unpleasant person I spoke to. Did not care anything about my situation and the new business I would bring them with my car and others. Completely in shock this just happened! BTW.... I never write reviews.... I had to create an account specifically so that I could. I am that upset with the level of "service" i got from there service department. BEWARE!!!!

Be VERY CAREFUL if you buy a car from D"Ambrosio. They gave me a final price on a 2015 Chrysler Town & Country. When I checked their math at home - they forgot to factor in my trade-in. Since informing them of their mistake, Ive been told by the Salesman, a Finance Manager and a Sales Manager (?) that they "would take care of it" or that my check was "in the mail". Our transaction was a rather difficult one since we needed a car immediately. My daughter totaled her car and wanted a replacement Passat of a specific configuration. Due the difficulty in locating the car Jeff DAmbrosio personally got involved and with his efforts and the support of his team of professionals got the car for her in a few days. In many respects I feel they went way beyond what any dealership is expected to do. We will never forget what they did for us. This was our first car buying experience Jeff DAmbrosio Auto Group in Downingtwown, Pa. and it was a "GREAT" one! This was no the first Auto Dealership that my wife Brenda and I had visited in our pursuit to purchase a Certified Pre-Owned vehicle, but it was our last! We first visited DAmbosio Downingtown on a Sunday. They were not open, but we had full access to the lot. We were impressed with amount, quality and variety of inventory that they had on the lot. On Monday we returned and we eventually greeted and welcomed to DAmbosio Downingtown by Reed Jacques, our eventual salesperson who got us a great deal on our car. We felt no pressure.....ever, to make a deal on buying a car. Reed was a great guy, very professional, and so courteous. He made sure that we were fully informed and allowed the opportunity to "breathe" and give us "space". No pressure, no haggling. We made a "fair & reasonable" offer to Reed who then presented it to his Manager, Jack and the deal was done!

Although I have nothing negative to say about the buying process at Jeff Diambrosio, I do however feel cheated by their referral program. I purchased a new vehicle in August and noticed the visible sign on my salesmans desk for $100 referral bonus. So after the purchase of my vehicle I promoted their business as if I worked there to friends and family. Since then 2 people whom Ive referred have bought cars from this dealership, same salesman, but the dealership did not live up to their end of the bargain. First somehow the bonus changed to $50, which I received for one person, and have been waiting for 2 weeks for the other. Ive spoken to Richie and Bob several times and still no results . I will never refer another person to this dealership again because of this. I want what is owed to me!

I purchased a 2009 jetta SE from these guys, The car has a 2 year, 24k miles warrenty included. They seemed very quick to get me in this vechile. I had the car for 4 days and the Transmission, front axle. and axle seals needed to be replaced. They had my car for over 2 weeks, the day i got it back the radio didnt work, my interior lights didnt work and now the transmission is making noises again. Terrible customer service; the salesmen kept talking about his "gambling problem" and kept bragging about how many car he has sold this past month December of 2014. This is the second vechile ive bought from these guys. Im finshed with this dealership. I would recommend not going to thos dealership if you plan on buying a new car.

Just purchased a 2015 Jeep Wrangler on September 8th, 2014. It was a special order, and I just picked it up on October 3rd, 2014. Paul Fiedler, General Manager, and Jordan White Salesperson, well in fact the entire team, did everything to ensure that I got the vehicle I wanted at a fair price and with a fair trade-in allowance on my two older vehicles. If I had to replace my new Jeep today for any reason, I would head right back to see these guys. Thank you for a pleasant experience and for getting me the perfect Jeep for me.

Nothing but problems with this dealership since I bought the car. The latest issue is that my parents were supposed to get a referral check based off of my buying a car there. After continuous calls inquiring where the referral check was, I was "promised" by the Finance Manager that, "I will approve the check and it will be in the mail today". A month later, and still no referral check. This place is too concerned with selling cars to bother themselves with their customers after they have purchased one. Again, I could list the issues I have had with this place but instead just focused on this latest example. Dont be fooled by their commercials like my family was.

My time is precious, so I normally don’t write these types of reviews. However, I believe in good business, and when I come across outstanding performance I feel compelled to ensure that it is recognized. I was in the market to replace a car that I had for several years – which was a victim of the recent hailstorm – and had definite ideas of what I was looking for and willing to invest. I am a tough customer, as my occupation is advising businesses on how to drive profitability, and have a very low tolerance for salesmanship nonsense. My top choices in a replacement vehicle included both the Acura MDX and Jeep Grand Cherokee. I took my time with the purchase – and shopped both online and in person at different dealerships. As part of my quest, I visited Jeff D’Ambrosio Auto Group in Downingtown as I have had positive experiences with their service department in the past. In the showroom, I had the pleasure of meeting with Dan Kirby, who immediately impressed me, showing a genuine interest in understanding my situation and how he could help me achieve my goals. He introduced me to Lenny Condi, and the two of them gave 110% to align the right vehicle, package and financing to meet my needs. In a relationship business, I can truly say that Dan and Lenny stand out as shining examples of what salesman should be, and are a credit to both Jeff D’Ambrosio and the business at large. I recently brought my 2009 Dodge Journey to the DAmbrosio service center for an oil change and a tire rotation. During the course of performing these services the automotive technician discovered serveral cracks in two of the lug studs which connect the tire to the wheel assembly. Cracks of this type have been known to cause catistrophic failure of the lug nuts, causing the entire wheel to fall off the vehicle at high speed. The resulting loss of control would most likely conclude in a deadly accident. There is no question in my mind that the diligent action on the part of the Jeff DAmbrosio service personel has in all probability spared my family from certain tragedy. The simple fact is that my wife and I are delighted to have purchased our vehicle from Jeff DDambrosio. From the moent we walked in the door two years ago, we have been treated wonderfully by everyone in that organization. We got a very fair deal on a beautiful car which we both love. And as I previously mentioned, their service department is exceptional. It is no secret that the retail automobile business has earned a reputation for questionable practices. There are those who are convinced that there is no such thing as an honest car dealer. This much is certain; dispite such negative opinion, the Jeff DAmbrosio Auto Group is a shining example of what a decent, honest buisness is supposed to be. When I called Sean the finance guy, he was going to check into it and "get right back to me". Almost a week later, and no call back. These guys are all about the sale and nothing else. I went in to DAmbrosios a little over a month ago. After getting pre-approved online, I set up an appointment with Ken. He helped me with filling out the credit application and although he seemed a bit overwhelmed- as he had customers at his desk and someone else waiting along with myself, he seemed to try to keep everyone happy. Now he checked my credit and told me I was not approved by two banks and he didnt want to hurt my score anymore . However he assured me that " if he couldnt get me in a car, he would tell me" and he told me to contact him Monday to finish the process. Needless to say, I contacted him and he didnt respond or reach out to me. I tried this auto group because I was referred by one of their loyal customers, but I guess they werent interested in trying to work with me. I have decided to take me business elsewhere.

This will be the most honest review most people will ever read. I am not a hard person to deal with and I have given this place every chance to make things right. I can only speak on my personal experience so here it goes. Before going to the dealership (Jeff D`Ambrosio) I took it upon myself to get pre-approved for a loan I knew I was going to need. I was pre-approved and after showing the salesperson the car I wanted, I showed him the pre-approved paper to get things rolling. For some reason he insisted on getting a better interest rate, (stupid move on my part) I agreed. So now instead of taking two hours max, four to five hours have gone by. Being new to the state my husband and daughter were with me, because we had no babysitter. So about 8:30pm past my daughters bed time, I offered to come by the next day to finish what was never started, I had no papers to sign after 5 hours! After the salesman called down to the finance department to say we would like to come back in the morning, all I heard were cuss words and someone downgrading a family who was tired and wanted to leave and COME BACK. After that moment I was vowing never to return, but my husband assisted on getting this car, a car that we never even took the time out to negotiate a price for, so I put my feelings aside and went back the next day after work to finish the paper work. After a farewell, I was glad never to return, but I got a call to GO BACK because THEY did not have the dates right. Again, I go back and sign papers. After signing the papers I was sure to never go back. Yet after a month, I never received any paperwork through the company they supposedly financed me through. So I give the finance company a call, they had none of my information, or the car`s. They said I should contact the dealership, so once again I call the one place I would never call if my life depended on it. I explained my situation to someone in the finance department, and they said they would call back in 15-20 minutes. I got a call a hour later saying, my paper work fell through the cracks and this sort of thing never happens, and I need to go in that day to fill out more paper work to finish a process I thought was finished over a month ago. So, I leave you, anyone reading this, this last thought. I am going in tomorrow to give the car back and ask for my down payment back. I would never recommend a place to anyone who disrespects me the way that finance guy did on the phone and have the only excuse be " Unfortunately this is just that kind of business." Please take your time and money to a business with better ethics.
