bought a 2016 Jeep Cherokee last year started having issues. Had it in service 3 times within 2 months...most recent was suppose to be 1 day service however 4 days later they still could not figure out how to fix the problem. Decided it would just be ongoing that we would take our loss and traded it in (while still in service!) and got into a 2017 Malibu only to notice service light on next day (salesman dismissed it at delivery so we never saw it!) and than a clicking noise from back. Bought Tues night was in for service Friday only to be told defective part and that back dash and window needed to be taken out. Um no! Not on brand new vehicle. After going back and forth and not really getting responses from higher up mgmt., recd call to bring car back. They knew we were in a jam, they could not fix the jeep, Malibu was a dud and we HAD to purchase a car from them basically at this point so they totally used that to their advantage which resulted in the worst car buying experience ever. 25 years and 10 vehicle customers and this was how we were treated...oh wait, for our troubles they gave us a hand written note on a business card for a free detail! 11 1/2 hours spent on both car deals and they could car less. Still havent heard from higher mgmt. regarding our experience. They no longer care which is a shame cause Reedmans did when they owned it!

There is a service bulletin for seat adjuster pivot. Aka poor design. Dealer charged me for tighning bolts. Issue not resolved. I purchased the bumper to bumper Zurtic warenty to cover anything and zero deductible if I take it to readmans. Warenty only covers changing broken parts not tighning parts. They didnt find issue and seat moves while driving. I paid a lot of money for truck and warenty,but service will charge me for looking to troubleshoot again. Had truck for under a year and its been the worst service I have ever seen. They even have highlighters holding up the display of ther phones with tape. Looks and is shoddy. I wish I could have them change the seat adjuster pivot assembly to the new one and all would be fine.

Bought a new car. 2017 Malibu. Good experience. They sell you on customer service. Free oil changes etc. So I schedule my 8am appt for oil change and A/C wont get cold. Wife arrives at 8am with daughter. Told about an hour so she figured shed wait. Hour goes by she asks how much longer they say about an hour. Figured, well been here an hour already might as well. That hour goes by so she asks then shes told about an hour and a half. So 2 hours later they offer her a shuttle home. With my daughter in a car seat. 3 year old with her keep in mind. She tells them she needs the car back by 2 by the latest to retrieve me from work by 3. They say no problem. Meanwhile I call for updates. Was hung up on several times . Have calls recorded for proof. 145 comes and she calls THEM asking status she needs something in 15 minutes. They send the shuttle out to get her at 230. The car still not done. Then after all that waiting they say well give you a car. As they should have in the first place. Then she didnt have her insurance card. So she couldnt get the loaner. Lucky my car was put back together by then so she could take it and come get me an hour and a half late after work. They had the car 7 hours and never even did the oil change. That was done on the follow up appt they needed waiting on the AC part to come in. The worst customer service I have ever had. Truly bad experience with no effort to make up for it.

The service department lacks consistency and communications. They are not accommodating or concerned about your need to have access of your vehicle. I brought my truck in for an air conditioner issue, stressed the importance of them not keeping it over the holiday weekend and the fact that my vehicle is used for work. I was original told I would get my truck back within 2 days, but it has been 16 days now. I have a rental truck that is smaller than my vehicle which is a disservice for me and asked for a bigger truck for over 12 dayso ago. A manager calls on day 16 offering a bigger truck and explaining why they still have my truck. The original issue is now fixed but there is another problem. Ok. But why wait until nowvto tell me about it. The Manger was supposed to call me back with details regarding how long it will take for this new issue to be resolved but of course, no returned call. I can not take her up on her offer for a bigger truck today because my husband is in the hospital, which I made her aware. I asked if she was willing to put the truck on hold and let me know once she called back about the status of my vehicle; how long do I have to wait before my truck will be fixed and if it is covered under the warranty; no call, no communications. I am telling you, I have lost money from not having my truck and yet they did not offer anything. At least full up the rental truck and my truck with gas; A free car wash, something. I referred three people to this dealership and two people purchased a vehicle from them and they are just as unhappy with their services. I will never recommend anyone else to them ever again.

There definitely is not anything sparkling, shiny or bright with our experience with Reedman Toll as a whole. From sales to service, we have had problems. The vehicle we purchased in late August or early September of 2015 has been a thorn in our sides since we drove it off the lot! The vehicle should never have been sold (to anyone)! My wife and I bought a pre-owned Fiat 500X from Reedman Toll yesterday. Quite often, buying a car can be a painful experience, but not this time. Our salesman, "Columbo", went out of his way to make the process smooth and painless. He was extremely knowledgeable about the car, he wasnt pushy at all, and he addressed every question and issue with a smile on his face. But let me back up a little... We live in North Carolina. Prior to driving up to Pennsylvania, we had been negotiating the purchase of a nearly identical 500X at a local dealer. That dealers price was $2600 higher than the identical car at Reedman Toll, and they refused to budge on the price! I even pointed out the Reedman Toll ad to the local dealer, and he told me that I should go buy it. So I did! We got a great deal and we were extremely satisfied with the whole experience. On the drive home my wife and I kept talking about how positive the experience was. I dont write many reviews, but this purchase was such a good experience that I had to write this one. And Columbo, if you ever read this review, you are the man!

I purchased my vehicle in 2007. Returned each year for mileage service and state inspection. Reedman offered to purchase my vehicle in 2014 because it is in excellent condition. I returned this December for my annual inspection and service and was greeted by a entire turnover in the Chevy service writers section. From year to year I added 3400 miles on the vehicle. After waiting two hours for the vehicle to be inspected, the service writer informed me that the transmission coolant lines are leaking and would cost $491 to replace. I said I would rather leave and take care of it elsewhere. The service writer was adamant that I go with "his tech" and see the leaks. I went back into the garage, was hard pressed to see leaks, but took their word for it and had the work done. Final bill $575. They had the vehicle for eight hours. A couple of days later, I noticed oil drops under my vehicle. We notified service and they said bring it right in. Two and a half hours later, the same service comes into the waiting room to inform me that the hoses replaced earlier in the week where not leaking, but I needed a new radiator. That cost was going to be $540. I told him to forget, and give me my vehicle back. I have since taken the vehicle to a local garage, and there was nothing wrong with the radiator, or transmission cooler. I will never go back to ReedmanToll.

Im writing this review because I felt compelled to share what excellent customer service I received from Drew Sroka, Angie Lazaro, and Chris Shumard during the purchase of our new Subaru Outback. Drew gave me the most in depth tutorial of the 2017 Outback I could have ever imagined. From the hood, engine, and transmission to the roof rack and all the amazing safety technology installed in the vehicle (and everything in between). He answered every question I had and was extremely thorough in showing me all of the unique features (RAB, Adaptive cruise, cross bars in the doors, etc...) that make the Outback Limited so great. He knows his facts and he knows them well! What an asset to the dealership. Angie was extremely responsive when I had questions. I particularly appreciated the breakdown she gave me of taxes, title & fees and how quickly she has responded to my e-mails. When you work in a fast paced environment, time makes all the difference. I was told they inspect, clean and change oil before it goes on the lot. I purchased a vehicle and took delivery after closing hours but was told car was being cleaned. If in fact the oil was changed then the oil remaining life % should have read somewhere in the high 90"s ..IT WAS AT 24%. Now dont tell me they changed the oil. I did not want the Reedman Toll sticker on the back, "no problem" they said. It was still on. As far as cleaning the vehicle .....not done also. They put on a good front/presentation but dont live up to their own billing. As we started buying the car when it was light outside and no need for the interior lights to be on .......THE INTERIOR ACCENT LIGHTS DONT WORK. Sorry Reedman first time and last time.

I have responded to several nice trucks and they are sold. Approximately 2-3 weeks later the same trucks are still listed on Cars.com and I contacted dealer again and they are sold. So this is just my opinion that they put these really nice trucks at reasonable prices that are sold and this dealership uses these "trucks" to get responses. To start off, our Jeep was asked to come in for an airbag recall. So, we brought it to Reedman and the next day (saturday) they said it would be ready by 1pm. It wasnt ready until 6pm, as we waited by all day to figure out why it was late. We spent HOURS in the parking lot as we kept calling to check in and HOURS upon HOURS they told us "its just about done". When it was finally done they accidentally rolled the window down in the passenger seat and it got stuck/ broke SO they charged us for going in and fixing the door and window that THEY got stuck! Least to say every time we are here its a long headache and were constantly disappointed. So fed up! Ps. $100 + for a front end allignment that was 5 hours late. Wow.

After searching for a used town and country for 6 months, I finally found exactly what i was looking for at Reedman-Toll. After finding it on cars .com, I sent a email to request more information. after receiving a automated email, i responded by saying i was looking to get specific information on the vehicle. Out of the 20 plus dealers i contacted this way, Reedman-Toll was the only dealer to respond with a personalized response. The internet manager, Scott, responded and kept a great line of communication for the entire week until i had time to pay them a visit. Because i live 2hrs from the dealership, I called Scott before i left to insure the vehicle was still available and ready for purchase. I am glad I made the trip because the vehicle was exactly as they described it to me, and there were no "surprises" when i arrived. When we arrived at the dealership, we were offered complimentary refreshments, which was nice after a 2hour drive, and Scott introduced us to Louis, who helped through the whole process. Louis took us to the on site test drive track were we drove the car, before going back to complete the paperwork. Buying a car from Reedman-Toll was a very painless experience. Louis and Scott went above and beyond our expectations to make sure we comfortable, and didnt just try to push a vehicle on us. i will definitely buy another vehicle from them, and would highly recommend you pay them a visit if you are purchasing a vehicle.

I drove my 2005 Jeep Liberty in for service and was charged over $100.00 for an oil change after being told that front brake system on both sides needed $1500.00 in repair. The repair man said that I would need to have the vehicle towed home if I did not have the brake job completed. I drove my Jeep home and almost another 2 weeks until an appointment else where without issue. I would also like to say that after having my vehicle in your service center for this oil change, my engine cover is now missing. Your center worked on my engine last and returned it to me without the cover. Bad service. Bad job. Bad workmanship. New flash, I know cars and how to work on them. I knew there was an issue with the brakes but not the issues that you tried to charge me $1500.00 to work on, I think it was all about the money and not about doing the job correctly and with integrity. The subsequent service center did not work on my engine, only my brakes, which did not require all the work that your man said it would. So not only did my oil change cost me over $100.00, I lost my engine cover in the process and who knows what else that I have yet to discover! I have 3 cars that I faithfully took to Reedmans for service, repair and inspection. You will no longer have my business.
